I hear a lot of people complaining that they bought coins that were either dead in a few weeks or the project was pointless. I would like to avoid such situations.

absence of research will consistently drives investors off track,Numerous investors are whining that they are at lose putting lots of money into some IEO projects yet many IEO projects are plain success from the info ive gathered,IEO projects from binance,bitmax,gate.io,kucoin are mostly successful and their ATH are so good that i regret not investing in some of them,why are people still complaining? Are they joining IEO from crappy exchanges or new exchanges with low volumes?

CMC and coingecko both very useful for us, i used to use both however i am confused why many coins and tokens not listing in CMC but listing in coingecko, not only coins and tokens but also many exchanges, is this because coingecko become more popular than CMC, or for something else.
In my opinion, Coingecko is not as popular as CMC but Coingecko shows its quality. As far as I know there are a lot of projects that spend money to be listed on CMC even though those projects are quite bad. Coingecko is limited to that, so I think it is better than CMC. |

distributed ledger technology is the future, I think most people agree on this, but why bitcoin?
Bitcoin is the oldest system, it is not scalable, it needs second layer scaling solution, it is energy consuming, there is few big mining pools and is not very decentralized. There are other problems too.
Woudn't a 3rd generation blockchain that is more decentralized in practice, less energy consuming, cheaper, and offer smart contracts and many more possibilities surpass bitcoin at some point?
Is the first move advantage so big, is there something else I am missing?
Most of the POW algorithms at the moment are very popular like BTC, ETH but it has one drawback is that it cannot be expanded. This causes the project to run the POW algorithm. It was great that I trusted and invested in XLM. I did not expect that they would burn half of the coin's total supply. I was very surprised when they did that.
