I am very excited to announce that I am now working on a new DAC project – GCR.
The new DAC have:
a) Your own computer is your private bank, you can deposit and withdraw money anywhere there is an internet in the world even on your smart phone.
b) Easy to exchange with local fiat currency(USD, EUR, whatever). Capability to hold a stable user-defined value, such as an ounce of gold or U.S. Dollar, with no need to trust a person promising to back up that value.
c) Additional security features to make your money much harder to steal.
d) Built-in support for a distributed currency exchange.
e) Built-in support for distributed betting (no need to trust a website to coordinate bets).
f) Built-in support for "smart property" which can be used to create and transfer property such as titles, deeds, or stock in a company.
This is a significant improvement over anything we've had before. This DAC has been started since the end of Sep 2013, and you can finally get a piece of it today!
The name of the new DAC is ‘GoCoineR’, and it is 100% message-based, meaning that it encodes all its protocol data as hidden messages in the block chain which have special meanings, such as placing a bet, or transferring GoCoineR to another address.
Once you own GoCoineR, you have the building blocks for creating GoldGCR, USDGCR, EuroGCR, and any other real-world asset you can imagine! These child currencies will then be ‘meta stable’(holding their values as long as they remain sufficiently backed by GoCoineR held in escrow). Their target values are maintained by protocol actions which control the available supply.
Whether you are a miner or an investor, we've got a way for everyone to help grow the GoCoineR Ecosystem. As I am planning to contact III company to get some support, so you have two options, choose any of them you prefer – PTS/BTC. If I can work with III company successfully, all the PTS owners will have 10% stake of GCR which means if you have 100 PTS, you can get 10 GCR. You'll need the private keys for your ProtoShares balance to claim your GCR distribution. If your balance is held at an exchange, the exchange will hold the private keys and be able to make the claim. However it is uncertain how different exchanges will handle this. To be certain of receiving your full distribution, I recommend holding your full balance off-exchange, and in a single address for simplicy.
PTS/BTC raised in the fundraiser will be used to fund the development of software implementing the GoCoineR. The fundraiser was structured like a kick starter, but it is also an investment. If we're successful, the purchased GoCoineR could be worth a tremendous amount of money someday. Thanks to everyone who would like to participate, help us raise the original foundation of PTS/BTC. If we pay bounties, sell PTS or BTC to pay salaries for services then we have no way to prevent those individuals from deciding to reinvest back into the fund. From a block chain perspective it will be very hard to audit this behavior without us freezing the funds. We will be as transparent as possible about where we spend the funds and this should make it clear that we are not recirculating funds. In this business trust is everything so we will protect our integrity in this area because without it we are sunk.

Partial List of Risks
Thanks for your interest in GoCoinR!You should be aware that investing in currency experiments is really, absurdly risky. There are a huge
number of things that could go wrong. I'll list a few of them here, but this is by no means all of them:
a) I could lose the bitcoins and thus not be able to continue funding this project. While I'm taking every precaution I can think of to make sure funds sent to the
GUL/Pevy address are not lost or stolen (the wallet is backed up and only accessed from an offline-only computer), history shows that people have a hard time keeping their bitcoins safe.
b) Your own bitcoin wallet could be lost or stolen, taking your GoCoinR with it.
c) I could be slow. I don't plan on quitting my job (unless millions of dollars are raised), and regardless of how much money is raised, I have three small children, my lovely wife and parents who take priority over anything else.
c) Someone else could do it better. I may have first-mover advantage, but first-mover is rarely the long-term winner. Especially if I am slow, there is a big risk someone else will take the lead.
d) My bank ideas might not work. I think they will, but that remains to be proven.
e) There could be legal trouble. If the government tells me to quit working on this, I probably will. I'd gladly hand over the project to someone else, but there's no guarantee that someone will step up.
f) Please also be aware that GoCoiner are not in any way equity. They don't give you ownership of any company I might start, and they certainly don't give you voting or control over this project. I plan to be the biggest GoCoineR purchaser, but even if someone else buys more than I do, that doesn't give them majority ownership, or any other rights or privileges. GoCoineR is an experimental currency, P2P exchange or bank system built on top of another experimental currency (Bitcoins).
The risks (and potential rewards) are extreme.Finally, anything I say here or anywhere else should not be considered investment advice. Please consult a financial advisor before investing in GoCioneR (they will probably have a heart attack at the thought).
