Yes, but the fact that I own the group and I have not paid anyone to add thousands of members (our bot is kicking them out anyway). This is the entire reason for the post: why would someone add them into the channel, for free. what is the purpose of this. There is no sesnse in doing that. adding 20 members to spam a link, fair enough. but 10k into a channel with 1k members?

I was hoping someone knows the reason behind it, just so I understand the dyamics and learned something.

Thanks for all the replies. See I am not new in that space and that scamers and spamers join groups with maybe 20 users, I totally get. But joining with 10k+ users into a 1k community seems even for the dumbest scamers a bit overkill to me. our bot bans them all if they do not pass captcha, which none of them does so our group is not growing but man, at times there are 20 captchas pending, making communicating in the group impossible and closing it for good is annoying as we have organic users (5 to 20) a day coming in and everyone lost, is for us as a project a loss.

I would like to understand something that I have never seen. Our telegram group of Vertex is currently being flooded by users. I mean FLOODED. over 2k users in 2h and it doesn't stop
Of course we have a bot in place to ban those users as they don't pass captcha but its annoying and much more, I do not understand why.

How is it for anyone in any way economical to do that? what is the purpose of that?

I am aware of the occasional 10 users joining and then starting to spam but this? thousands of users?

Has anyone ever experienced this?

Warum wir keine .de domain haben liegt daran, dass wir .market sind und nicht auf weiteren domains laufen. Kann ich nicht wirklich mehr dazu sagen

Warum ist sie denn nicht Vertrauenswürdig abgesehen davon das sie sicherlich etwas unbekannt ist? Ich sage probiere es aus (falls es überhaupt was für dich ist). Wenn man p2p crypto verkauft, kann es ja nicht schaden, wenn man mehr Verkaufskanäle hat.
Da kein cryptodeposit verlangt wird (nur für powerusers mit history, da wir dies "staken"), sehe ich nicht was da aus Nutzersicht schief gehen kann.

Wir sind vertex-capital (vertex-capital.io). Ein Investmentkonsortium welches diese Platform gebaut hat um mehr in den Retailmarkt zu kommen, da wir seit längerem im Institutionellen Bereich tätig waren. Es ist sozusagen ein eigenes Investment. Jessica Kim Declerq ist operations manager und ist sicherlicht nicht am "fake reviews" schreiben. Wir haben mal vor etwas längerem ein affiliate programm mit tokens gehabt, das hat genau zu solchen Problemen geführt.

Trustpilot: Das ist genau das Problem vom Inet und diesen Ratingplatformen. Wie viele gute User gegeben keinRating ab. Wenn man Glück hat, macht das jemand. Diese zwei Ratings sind perfekte Beispiele für wie es mehr schadet als hilft. Es ist einfach nicht Wahr. Warum? Der Support hat innert 6h geantwortet. Der Kunde hatte lediglich lange warten müssen, da die TX mit gas price 40 gesendet wurde und ETH bekanntlich ETH ist. Dieser trade hat nicht WOCHEN gedauert sondern 36h und es wurde nicht 50 mal geschrieben sondern 2 mal wovon beide mal geantwortet wurde. Es gibt nun einfach gewisse User, die das nicht interessiert und wenn si nicht gratis einen Bitcoin erhalten wenn sie dem Support schreiben, dann geben Sie ein schlechtes Rating. Mach doch selber eine Erfahrung und sage mir, was du vom Support haltest. Das würde ich sehr ernst nehmen.

Jessica ist im operations und schaut auch aus für gute Nutzer, aber da sie nicht Deutsch spricht, habe ich gedacht ich Frage mal auf Deutsch nach. Grundsätzlich, bieten wir ja etwas risikofreies an welches vielen Hänndlern gute Kundschaft bringen kann. Wenn jemand nicht will, dann kann er es ja einfach seinlassen...

wir haben 3 Benutzertypen. B1 bis B3. B1 braucht keine KYC hat aber daily volume limit.
B2 hat KYC und AML und B3 hat bank Bestätigung und source of funds. Ist zur Zeit nicht verwendet wenn wir aber einige Tokens die wir planen lancieren (security) müssen wir diese Informationen haben.

SpaceX: Genau diese. ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit Ambisafe. Wie gesagt, wir sind NUR der Marktplatz für den Sekundärhandel.

Wegen Firmensitz: na da kann ich dir 1000 Gründe nennen warum. Wir (ich, founder und CEO) sind Schweizer und haben auch 2 schweizer Entwickler + jegliche andere Nationen. Unsere Investoren sind aber mehrheitlich NICHT aus der Schweiz. Nun kann ich dir sagen, dass in der Schweiz eine Firma zu Gründen, mit Bank account wenn investoren von 3 verschiedenen Ländern sind (eines davon Saudi Arabien) fast unmöglich ist. Auch hat die Schweiz sehr langsame Prozesse (Finma). Wir schliessen nicht aus, das Geschäft irgendwann mal in die Schweiz zu verlegen aber zur Zeit wäre das overkill

Der Grund ist dass es auschliesslich zu scam versuchen (ohne Erfolg) kam. Es dient einzig und allein um die Sicherheit der Platform weiter zu erhöhen. Du kannst egal in welchem Land du registriert bist, immer das land wechseln und "fremd" einkaufen. 99% der normalen und legitimen Benutzer haben eine Nummer von dem Land in dem Sie leben.

KYC und AML kommt für B2 und B3 Benutzer. Wir haben bald SpaceX tokens (nicht von uns selber, wir sind erlauben nur den Handel) und für die braucht es B2 (also KYC) da wir für jeden deal den neuen Besitzer zuerst whitelisten müssen mittels speziellem smart contract.

as a CEO of Vertex I have also clearly stated here that it doesn't mater if evidence or not but that it can happen on Vertex, Paxful, localbitcoins, you name it! all of those platforms try the best to protect users but if users do not follow the instructions by the platform, well then scammers have a feast.

i think the classic way is the simple PayPal charge back.

Since I am obviously biased, i won't highlight any advantages to each other between the platforms though
