That’s some pretty awesome news Tony. Excellent idea to shift focus to reward developers.

I have seen quite a price increase for IGNIS this days and the trade volume is now also higher than ARDOR. Is there any particular reason behind that?
I find it unusual for child chain to have bigger volume.
Well there’ll be an airdrop: https://gpstokens.com// Mac

Speaking of development, checking on bitbucket showed the last aktivity somewhere in august. I guess they are working a lot in house, but all in all, it doesn't look like much is happening, or is there a better way to check up on development?
The slack community is pretty active..there’s an announcement channel there you can check out. A lot of events and stuff happening lately. https://nxtplatform.org/slack/// Mac

Considering that i can't use bittrex as they require verification, what is the best exchange where i can buy gbyte?
You can use cryptox.pl. It's been a long time since I used it but it was pretty dependable back in the days, it probably still is (no complains as far as I know). The only issue is that the volume is relatively low. Cryptox has worked well for me as well. Quick and reliable.

I think Tony should burn the remaining undistributed bytes.
This would:
1. Serve as a token of gratitude to everyone who has believed in the project so far.
2. End the current uncertainty about the remaining bytes. It was once crystal clear who was getting what and when. This is no longer the case. Tony distributed bytes to BTC users in hopes it would give BB the best possible chance to succeed. Most agreed this was a sound system for multiple reasons. After x months Tony believed continuing this process was no longer the most optimal route to gain new users. I can understand this reasoning as well. Sidenote: I personally think he should have done this whole distribution in just 1-3 steps. Sure, repeating the percentage bonus over and over created hype. However it also further increased the gap between holders. Personally I'm not sure if the former made up for the latter.
But here we are and the distributions to BTC holders has ended. Great. I think Tony has done a fantastic job with this project so far. Now just burn the rest. Let us move forward from here knowing the distribution process has been completed. This would help making the current core of the community as happy as it can be before continuing the expansion outwards. You want us to be as motivated as possible to help you out with this expansion. You already have a great product and it's only going to get better..but you also need to preserve and encourage the community you've built so far.
I'd also support Tony taking 5% for himself instead of just 1. He could also ask for donations if he needs more bytes. I bet a lot of people would be more than happy to send him some extra bytes if he'd just burn the rest.

PRESS RELEASE *** Introducing a gate between the EURO and the Ardor ecosystem to allow companies to adopt the blockchain technology without friction *** The Ardor ecosystem makes one step further to the implementation of the Blockchain technology for small and medium companies. Jelurida, has partnered with Ardorgate to deliver an Ardor based Euro pegged child chain token named AEUR. The new AEUR token provides quick and simple entry point into the crypto world using Euro. Each AEUR token will always equal exactly 1€ and this is guaranteed and backed by by Ardorgate, which has partnered with MISTERTANGO bank ( www.mistertango.com) as the payment processor. Using the AEUR token users can trade assets on the Ardor platform and easily exchange into ARDR or child chain coin/token. “I decided to start this project because I see huge potential on eliminating additional steps, when people exchange crypto to fiat, sell items for crypto, doing ICO, etc. Thanks to Ardorgate many use cases will become available making them faster and easier”, says Martynas Bacevicius (@martis), one of the loyal members of the Ardor and Nxt community, Blockchain Engineer and Founder of Ardorgate. “The entry point into NXT has always been a problem for our European customers, using the AEUR Ardor child chain we now have a simple solution to convert between the EURO and our tokens. We are excited to work with Ardorgate to deliver the best user experience in the blockchain industry”, says Lior Yaffe Co-founder and Managing Director at Jelurida. Truly great news. Awesome work!

REMINDER.
You only got until 4th October (this Sunday) to redeem your old ORA assets. After this date you will never be able to get XOS for them.
Got any questions? PM "Nxter" over @ nxtforum.org. But please do it ASAP to avoid missing the deadline.

I have also sent the assets a long time before to Darkhorse. Will the new assets come my way automatically or do I need to do anything at the moment?
You should already have the new coin then. Keep in mind it's now an actually currency, not an asset. So it won't be displayed in the same way. This is the new currency, XOS: https://nxtportal.org/currencies/17415019753777810897// Mac

Great, got them! Thanks for your help. All the best for the new ORA plans @Mac_Red: I have sent you a pm about my ORA transfer on March 2015. I guess it was to originally exchange address from Kora.
Replied! Yes, we got some interesting ideas for ORA so I'd encourage every holder to join the discussions over @ nxtforum. We need all support we can get! https://nxtforum.org/ora/

How can i get/swap my ora in case i ve sent it to darkhorse few months ago?
Already done for you. Nxter who is one of our treasurers sent the new currency to everyone who had transfered ORA to DH. It looks like your address does indeed have XOS (note it's a currency this time, not an asset). Same with me but I don't see any XOS or other currency on my account on trade.secureae.com (where I sent the ORA from). I still have an "Unknown" type transaction from NXT-E26D-DMFT-N8XV-37PBS which didn't add anything to my balance. Is this it? If you can, please post this question in the redemption topic over @ nxtforum: https://nxtforum.org/ora/(ann)-new-final-ora-and-mic-assets-redemption-process-last-call/100/Nxter should then be able to help you out (remember to provide your NXT address).

... I'm going to suggest that we set that date - 22nd May 2015 - as our cut-off date for Darkhorse to return, so unless we hear from DH before then I suggest we create the new 'ORA::shuffle' MS currency on that date and proceed with the first task, assuming Pilot & fragora are still willing to act as short-term community treasurers.
...
Has the new 'ORA::shuffle' MS currency been created and distributed yet? It has not. We haven't decided on the settings yet (see post below for more info). https://nxtforum.org/ora/(ann)oranxt-ms-currency'shuffling'-for-nxtjl777-involvedanon-fungibility/msg181083/#msg181083

... Anyway, I understand your frustration, but I'm a 'glass is half full' guy, and a couple of weeks ago I was putting ORA into stasis (i.e.effectively the project was over), then the HUMAN ELEMENT of ORA - the 'starfish' stuff - kicked in:
1- Pilot offered to be a community treasurer 2- Jack Needles suggested ORA as default NXT shuffle coin 3- jl777 got "interested" and offered to help us
That makes me conclude that despite the obvious problem with our chief treasurer going missing (who I'm personally very worried about as someone I worked with and got to know as a very good colleague & friend), ORA as a leaderless decentralized 'starfish' project is actually really healthy. I have contributed very little to this re-birth (not the idea, not the tech etc), and that makes me feel great. Remember, ORA started out as a community based 'experiment', so this really is about 'the journey'. There's no script (ORA development is 100% organic & community driven), so there's no 'guru' or tech messiah in the wings ready to do everything (or anything) unless they feel its worth the effort. ...
I like to think the integrity and persistence of this project is shining through. I very much doubt it'd have gotten this kind of attention now otherwise. I also feared for ORA's heartbeat when DH never came back, think we all did. It turned out we still have more pages to write and that makes me sincerely happy, having spent countless hours with this community. ... @josegines, you're just as much a 'leader' of ORA as me, so have your say on what you think *could/should* be done. You mentioned maybe 'we' should have organised everything behind the scenes, then made an announcement after the new treasury accounts and distribution were done, so as not to be unfair, and I understand that point. But that assumes too much pre-planning for a truly decentralized starfish organisation. There isn't a board room , or cabinet table where decisions get made, then announced. Everything has to be as open as possible, otherwise its not a decentralized leaderless process. ...
Also well said. All info is public for everyone to digest, anyone here has a chance to get his or her say. So far it seems everyone's in agreement the general ideas floating around ITT can only lead to a stronger and bigger community. On a side note I don't think there should be any more "waiting around" for DH to possibly show up. As soon as we got a solid plan and numbers for how to proceed then that's what we should do IMO. // Mac

Some cool ideas here, me like. I definitely think distributing ORA to SuperNET holders would be a win-win. Bounty for the plugin should be generous.

that sucks man, you put alot of effort into this project, sorry to hear.
Thanks for your comment!! It does suck, but I don't feel too bad for myself. I learnt quite a few useful life lessons, and I had an itch, and I scratched it, so I'm OK. I do feel very bad for those who bought ORA on the NXT AE. I'm not giving up yet, but I'm a realist too. Things don't look very good at the moment. Agreed. Learnt a ton from this project & community. ORA has always had a really strong, open and honest foundation IMO. Whatever happens next I'm proud to have been a part of it.

Hopefully DH will give us some updates shortly. I personally haven't been able to transfer my ORA yet because I'm having some problem syncing the NXT client. Will try to get it working ASAP.
