Hey, i just wanted to thank you, i have a GTX 560 SSC, 95 kHash/s with original miner. Performance with your miner increased up to 6000 kHash/s ... Awesome job.

I am receiving money correctly from ypool. No confirmation issues.

|
ypool is up again, miners working. Apparently it was all due to DDoS attacks caused by the adding of Maxcoin.
|
|
|
miners also lost connection, both gpu and cpu.

My wallet is stuck on block 29700 and can't synchronize. I tried building the most recent version of the wallet and redownloading the blockchain with the same result. Did anyone experience the same problem?
Mine is stuck too. It says 3 hours behind.

Ok mine is a little exagerated. I have a Nvidia GTX560 SSC, it went from 95 kHash/s with a previous miner to around 6000 kHash/s with yours. You did magic.

It's finally working on my gtx 560, although it's an old card and only gets 95 kHash/s , is this ok ?
My CPU pulls over 600 kHash/sec, my oldish Radeon 5800 series pulls around 3000 kHash/s. NVidia GPUs are way better at floating point math, AMD GPUs are way better at integer arithmetic which makes them better at hash algorithms. I have same stats on cpu (I7 2600k 3.4Ghz)... Also heard that nvidia gpus are not good for this kind of work

The quick fix that i applied today made me reduce the worksize from 0x80000 to 0x8000, which will introduce a HUUUUGE latency in faster cards. I'm working on a solution for this just about now.
Ok, NEW VERSION OF GPU MINER RELEASED! Fixed the "0x8000" worksize, so the speed drops might stop for now, and should be a little bit faster! Linux and Mac OSX binaries also available! (Windows, of course, still available). Download link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2wv2awwgebpdo0m/STzOU5tlXasource code: https://github.com/girino/xptMinerHope you enjoy! well, i left this open for quite a while now. The gpu is already initialized, and now it says "connected to server using x.pushtrough xpt protocol". But it reports no activity, it's frozen there. Is this supposed to take that long too ? thanks and sorry for the insistance, i just want to know if i am doing sth wrong. Now this happens when the server is unreachable (it says connected, but is actually connecting). Are you behind a firewall??? I have the default windows firewall, already created an exception for the miner, but nothing yet

i have a Nvidia GTX 560 SSC, can it be used with this gpu miner ?
Probably yes. This is an OpenCL miner, so it works on virtually any GPU (And also with some CPUs). Just try it out and report the results. well i just opened, and it's stuck at "initializing device", i left it for a while hoping it would start sometime but it's still there, any idea why ? The code for the hashes is quite complex, so it takes a lot of time to compile on some cards (specially AMD). I had to wait up to 20 minutes on one of the test machines... yep, you're right, right about now it says initialized and it's connecting to server, i'll tell you how it goes in a while
