If you buy into this you're just giving your money away to the whales and development team, and this has nothing to suggest it has any chance to moon, or anything like it. The sell walls will ensure it doesn't go above a couple of dollars at most, whales are happy to double their money. Development team happy to get free money and all the poor ICO investors are paying for it. Very good scam in all but name.
Their telegram group talk about being on coinbase and at $1000?! I know they've invested, but I mean come on - what planet are they on, and can I have a ticket there?
This is another shitcoin, or rather shittoken, as that's all it is. Development team know this but don't care, why should they. They've got free money even at the $2 price it roughly is at the moment.
It's another united bitcoin, same developer, same result incoming. That's now lost 99% of its value in six months and clearly bleeding out. $400 down to $3 now. And who do you think emptied their bags near the top? Have a look on the chain if you doubt my implciations.
Same old story here. Write off any investment you've made in this one.
If to argue as you then all the ICO earn on poor investors, and all the scam. This is really a necessary project and it doesn't promote itself and doesn't engage in artificial price increases, unlike many projects. No, not true because most ICOs investors can get in at the same price as whales, especially during the early part of ICO. Here, by buying right at the end in volume, whales knew they could close out the auction in one go, guaranteeing themselves cheapest prices and leaving all other investors holding more expensive bags. That would not work in normal Ico structure and shows how stupid the reverse auction was. They claimed this was to stop whales, they ended up handing them the cheapest price if all. And now they can sell even as the price slides. Now below $2,only they can make money at that price, nearly all other investors would be selling at a loss here, so they hodl and watch the price slide further. Absolute joke. Thank goodness I didn't go for this one. One of the worst ICOs of the year, as others on this thread predicted also. Definitely the best one to lose money in. I'm not a whale, but I bought it at the cheapest price. Cap of project is now $ 15 million, this is very small, I advise you to start buying before the market grows. If you got these at the lowest price then you're one of a tiny percentage who did. This fact can be proven by looking at the contract address. And people were saying the price was cheap at $5 before auction, then they were saying it was cheap at $2.80 a couple days ago. How much money would have been lost if people listened then? Heck, people said bitcoin was cheap when it went back below $10K and look where they went. And that's no shitcoin like this one. Of course you want people to buy, it's because they're NOT that the price is where it is. It's $15m cap because no-one gives a damn about it and it has no prospects, not the opposite! $1.6bn is a lot of money, if they ever do a public ICO the potential upside for buyers is very limited, it would go into top twenty today. Be very wary about the prospects for this, the application of TON may work very well, but the value of the coin is already very high.
Yes my thoughts too. It's very unlikely to fail though, so a better chance for modest yet reasonable gains in medium term. In theory, it warrants larger investment that other new ones, but really not sure if I would be brave enough. When will the big investors sell is the thing? And we're not talking your average crypto whales here either - weret talking Russian oligarchs, hedge funds etc different volume of cash altogether |

Yes, sadly falling in relative terms to other currencies, always the death knell especially just after an ICO launch where rises against these should be easier. Down the toilet for metronome, another united bitcoin, but on the other hand another few million for garzik and cronies. They should be thrown in jail for these kind of plays. |

Domain buyers already getting ready to cash in, these two redirect to same site. Telegram seem to have bought some domains based on the holding pages and who is. When I saw the .co.uk one on Google I assumed it would be theirs too until I visited it! www.telegramopennetwork.co.ukwww.telegramopennetwork.bloghow dumb for them not to buy these sort of domains up at the start. Maybe .blog not important but they can't afford not to have domains like .co.uk. guess it will cost them a lot - funny that the owner says he will take payment in fiat or Grams haha I think they want their own protocol, which doesn't include the www. - see on the whitepaper what they say about dns... as TOR for example, or IRC. I'm not sure about this, we need more information and most posts on this thread doesn't help us - they come from people who need posts for their bounty. I don't underestimate the intelligence of the Durov brothers, but maybe it's a mistake like you say, does .uk is so important? I would say .co.uk obviously not as important as .com, but the UK is one of the larger markets for crypto and telegram...fair amount of influence and money. And both that and .blog would attract a lot of hits via search engines once this project is publicly announced, regardless of Telegram's choice of 'official' site addresses. Owners of such domains could either try to suggest they are part of the real company and sell fake Grams, they could cover the pages with ads of all kinds to get clicks, or at the very least link to all kinds of negative stuff about telegram. Could be a real problem for the company and if the domains were legally purchased i don't see what they can...perhaps trademark the name and try and get it that way? But as it's not been officially announced yet and these sites were registered near start of the year that probably would be too late. They have deep enough pockets to buy the domains off anyway after this ICO fundraise. And if the owner really is willing to take grams then it won't cost them real money anyway. I'm very positive about TON and agree with earlier comments in this thread - if any crypto has the chance to truly go mass market then surely has to be this one. And if they time their entry at the end of this bear market then they could clean up. May not offer the multiplying value that bitcoin has had due to a high initial price and high volume of tokens (5bn I think) but as a bitcoin 2.0 in terms of valuation and volume it has to be the best contender. |

In the light of the exchange information I'm going to go in and spend some personal money on this to go with the 2.67 BTC my cell spent in week one. Buying 50,000 they will be my 'spare' Nuggets to sell on the exchanges at launch to cover my investment and enable me to HODL more. Should be an easy $50,000 maybe more with these on the likes of Binance and Kraken. Application sent.
I've bought quite a lot so won't be buying any more myself as all my funds have gone into this but good for you! can't really go wrong |

Love Digitalgold. So amazing they've done all this. No wonder ICO is almost gone,show me other ICOs that have got arrangements with these kind of exchanges at the start? They're normally on crap like kucoin and cryptopia!

I'm sure bitcoin will recover but I was quite content to put some of mine into this as best of both worlds. I can part sell some of my Nuggets on the exchanges when they're higher and buy my bitcoin back and still have plenty of these to hodl

This is my first foray into investing in a major way in an ICO and Im grateful to all the posters on here who seem to know a lot more about ICO's and crypto in general for their views. I dont have any doubts about DIG DigitalGold but its always good to have positive affirmations. Especially from posters like coinbaptist and cellinvestments, appreciate it.

Felt it appropriate to update you all as soon as we heard - our blockchain patents, which are concerned with the blockchain-based application of our unique algorithms, have now been granted worldwide!!!
This is fantastic news for all of us here at DigitalGold, and for all our ICO investors also! It means we are now fully protected from copying of our newly discovered mathematical techniques for super fast confirmations, scaling and much much more. Following from that, we are now in a position to license our software to financial mainly, but also other, organisations with whom we have had initial soundings with. We will be initiating more formal contacts with them all as soon as the ICO is finishes.
Patent bonuses for ICO holders are now all but certain in the medium term!
