The wallet is taking unusually long to sync today. First time I encounter this for 4 months now. I actually thought it was corrupted and re-downloaded latest zipped db from the official site.
Some major peer/s down? Can we manually add more to the list?
Thank you in advance.
What version did you download? there is a fresher now.I think. What happens when you d as you should do, getting the blochchain from your peers? It finally went through. It was just awfully slow yesterday for some reason, stuck for minutes between updates.

I was checking your github for an update. It was kind of luck that I stumbled upon it here today. Thank you! ! File "16208505166897672442_0_7320000_3000" file name/size mismatch, skipped Any help on this error? Thanks! Generation for that file is probably interrupted and it is corrupt. BTW, I personally don't go over 500k to keep managing such things easier.

I'm glad I got another 20Mhs hashlet today just before they increased the price. Purchasing with credit card is slower due to the nature of the product and several verification steps they have to go through. For example, they(shopify I presume) didn't like the email address I was using and asked for another one. Give them your main email address. Preferably something with your real name in it. i.e. johndoe@gmail.com. And update your street address with the one you have on file with your bank. After doing that, my order was processed in about 6 hours. Non-USA Visa. Should still be faster in work days though. That was today, Sunday. It is frustrating to wait longer and to be seen suspicious but I also know they have all the right to take things seriously in order to protect their business with all the increased fraud especially with digital goods. Currently you can't order via a non-USA CC in zenminer.com but you can in gawminers.com. I'm sure this is going to be fixed soon though.

I've done this last week but haven't posted here. A CSS mod via chrome extension called stylebot. When you add the extension, you'll be able to apply any mod submitted for a given site from its menu. "Install style from social" Black NiceHash: http://stylebot.me/styles/5879Screenshot is old but code is updated to work with new site updates. Font is also changed because it wasn't very comfortable on chrome. This just changes the css but if you're skeptical, wait for a probable NiceHash approval. Enjoy.

Windows wallet mingw assertion failed. It was working yesterday. Tried the new file too.
Update: OK now. Broken after a short outage. Rebuilding the wallet worked.

actually people mentioned in the forums that nicehash got problems with multipools, but if we can't use it with multipools, then what good is it? Blackcoinpool server is actually US based. So i don't see why nicehash would have problem connecting to it.
I've asked this to some pool admins in their IRCs and they advise to put a limit on the rented speed. This depends on the pool but usually around 0.3gh/s per worker. Those that go unavailable(red) while waiting in the queue don't like to keep an open connection without any work requests and some pools don't want to change this behavior. Understandably, to save bandwidth(less likely) or minimize attack risk I guess.

I used all of my bitcoins last thursday I've held since the beginning of time (~70) to buy some dark, at 0.025. I really feel the cold sweat on my back now - half of my "fortune" just went poof in a matter of day. I am still holding the coins now, but can't find sleep .. damn
Just think why you ever bought DRK ... Feeling better now? It'll revisit 25 very soon. I suggest you sell half of what you got then so that you can find some sleep at least. But, you shouldn't invest in any single thing with half of your wealth. I know, it's hard to fight that greed sometimes but I'm sure you knew better than that.

Can someone please explain to me why people are dumping thousands of Darkcoin well below what they could otherwise get for them by staggering sell orders??
Is this just pure greed in that they want others to panic dump so they can buy back cheaper??
This is fucking absurd. Was going along perfectly at 268 then after lunch I see it hit 240 =(
There are always people that prefer a quick profit or panic at the slightest signal of a down trend. I suspect some of these dumps are by x11 auto-trading pools looking to make the daily payout to their miners. Cheap coins for the rest.

Slow and steady please!

Occasionally I also ask if any altcoins have compelling value. Now at least there are the 2.0 coins and the anonycoins. Just having scrypt is not interesting enough.
Scrypt is destined to die and won't see 2015 IMO. LTC devs said, harshly summarized, "adapt or die" regarding the ASICS and refused to adapt themselves. Coins with no clever names, no purpose or innovation will all perish. Trusting the community while betraying the core idea never works.

It's none of my business but you guys should settle this already. Comeonalready, name your price (current) for the job and let them consider (again). Do this via PMs or a zillion other ways preferably and be happy with the outcome. Deal or not. A- Both parties reach an agreement, you get the job done and get your payment. B- No deal. You'll know you aren't wasting your time with the subject here and move on with your life, where, 1 BTC isn't worth getting out of bed. No pun intended. That's quite the heaven for 99.9% of the world. Make more use of it man.

Those guys... Their idea to have any power to manipulate prices downwards by writing here is hilarious. It's free entertainment folks. Keep it up! lol
