1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Multi Coin Pool CoinFu.io in Beta on: April 12, 2014, 12:03:28 AM
I'm back on the 'Fu after a slight redirect to another pool! I'm wondering though if anyone here knows if there are any flags that would help get more results out of my mining? I know for starters that you shouldn't use the --no-submit-stale flag but are there any other less known flags that people would benefit from?

I am curious to know if I can mine on CM using GUIminer? I've had some issues using CGminer and am a bit less than knowledgeable when it comes to getting that software up and running properly. I had previously been using GUIminer on middlecoin just fine, would it work on CM as well?

Hi my miner is mining @46kh  Cheesy (18 hours a day)  what do you think i get in btc a day?

and how long do you think it will take to earn enough btc to buy one of them BIG GPU's like a r9-290, or a HD 7990?

will it affect gaming when i'm mining with a big gpu?

i get around $5 a week pocket money to add to buying a gpu to.  Wink

Click this link: http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency

Fill in the numbers and check profitability.
I'ts probably going to take you a while to get a 290 at their current price if you're paying with your current mining proceeds, not to mention you may well be burning more electricity than you are mining at that kh. It will help tremendously if you did get the upgrade though. My 290's generate about 875 kh each. You will NOT be able to game with them when you're mining however, unless you drop the intensity down a lot (sacrificing kh) and play little flash games. Pretty much consider it all or none, I've cut my gaming down tremendously since I started mining, games just don't compare to incoming extra cash for me.

I just came in to see if there was a reason why my balance today was so poor. I have one rig mining on middlecoin at about 1.7+ m/h and my payout is 0.010xxx at the moment and an unexchanged of over 0.0251xxx, This is just sad...

Really hoping for a miracle at this point tonight, I'm going to have to find another pool very soon if this becomes the norm and I certainly don't want to do that.

Looks like everyone's in the same boat.

I just don't get it. I JUST DON'T GET IT! Why do people keep complaining about the unexchanged over and over and over again?! What about it is sad? The fact that at any moment your balance could be shooting up like a rocket? You're scared that you won't get the coins from unexchanged at all if you don't get them today? I mean come on! If your payout is low for today but you have a lot of unexchanged your payout is most likely great the next day. It balances out people!

Sheesh, everyone needs to use their brains instead of the thing that you might or might not have between your legs.

Relax kid, no reason to get your panties in a massive rustle. The balance is suffering greatly today, I wanted to see why. Now take a pill and relax like a good ass kisser.

Hello,

I have been using QT Trader for a little over a week and suddenly as of today when I run the program under Lag it is continually giving me an "API is Down" error. I read through some of the pages here and did as suggested by creating a new API key on btc-e and adding a new user to QT Trader but this has not fixed my issue.

Is there something I am missing?

thanks for any help you can give,

Doozie

BTC-e changed minimum requests interval. So close program for a hour, go to %localappdata%\QtBitcoinTrader edit ini file and set HttpRequestInterval to 600 or wait next update.

Thank you so much, this seems to have got it back up and running!

US pool down?

It's just gone down two times on me in the past 10 minutes. I guess issues again...

I was curious if anyone could give me a heads up on this. I have a rig that was mining on middlecoin for the past couple days and when i woke this morning the pc was frozen.  Shocked    This isn't typical so I restarted it and hooked back up to middlecoin and it happened again. The next time I restared I hooked up to a different pool and it hasn't frozen, is there possibly something going on with the pool to cause this? It freaked me out a bit.

Sounds like a heat, hardware or driver issue.  Highly doubt it has to do with the pool you are using

Definitely not heat, and I don't believe it's hardware or driver. It's the pool that was causing it. As soon as I switched pool, the issue was gone.

Temps never got above 77°.

Anyways, I moved the rig back to middlecoin and it seems fine now. Glad H2o got it back up, thanks buddy!  Cheesy

Exactly, wouldn't it be awesome to locate someone doing this kind of shit and just give them a royal beating! They certainly deserve it for messing with thousands of peoples wallets.

I'm failing to understand why so many of you guys are just flying off the handle against people with real issues on this pool. It's unhelpful and only foments anger among others. Relax...

Why not support everybody else's request to at least have a dialogue with the person who is profiting greatly by maintaining the pool? We all want to make money here, but we also don't want to be taken for a ride in the process. Answers (for us meek folk) keep this feeling at bay. Just a bit more transparency is all people are requesting here, and not even information that would take long to provide, just a few minutes and status updates a day would greatly improve the quality of this thread.

I have a 1.7mhash rig available currently mining worldcoin that I would like to dedicate to your pool. You guys have a great attitude and your transparency leaves a few specific others I was mining with in the dust. Please let me know if I could be part of the mining crew!

I have removed my rig from this pool as well. 2 Days of low productivity and not being paid out (still have an unpaid balance on day 3) is enough to make me move on to greener pastures. It also is pretty apparent that the owner of this pool has little intention of being part of the process, can't say that makes me feel comfortable.

I'll check back in the future and see how things are going then, maybe i'll move back. Good luck all!

So I have been mining on Middlecoin for over a day now and have a small amount accrued so far. I am wondering at what point does this amount get transferred to the wallet I have provided my miner?

If it has already happened today then my next question is can you not use a BTC wallet from btc-e.com for the wallet on middlecoin? I didn't think this would be an issue but this question is mentioned nowhere on the middlecoin site.

thanks to anyone who can answer!

It's been answered numerous times. Your balance has to be greater than .01 to get a daily payout. If you don't have .01, then any balance over .001 gets paid every 7 days
Yeah, I understand that one already and I should have mentioned that my current amount is over that. About 5 minutes ago I received the deposit so the question was answered for me. Thanks though, sorry to bother.

Seems like a very bad day today so far-
+1

I went from 4Mh/s to about 4.7Mh/s last night and today is on pace to pay about 20% less than yesterday.  No significant change to immature/unexchanged either.

0.034-0.035 BTC isn't what I was expecting for 24hrs of 4.7-4.8Mh/s of hashing power.

Why dont you do something about it then .. With that hashrate on RPC you would have got .1BTC without doing anything lol

What's RPC?

I'm guessing by RPC he means http://www.ronpaulcoin.com/ronpaulcoin_downloads.php maybe?

I'm only running a 1.6Mh/s rig at the moment but my numbers on here seem very low today. I ran it for 1 full day and ended up with about .016BTC and stopped it to try another coin only to end up coming back this morning and trying again, after 4 hours im sitting at about 0.00028039BTC which isn't very impressive. Maybe I'm just mining the wrong pool, i dunno. Still have much to learn I can see...
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Helloo all, entering a new world here... on: January 06, 2014, 02:35:17 AM
I just wanted to make my introductory post today. I must admit I'm a relative noob when it comes to mining. I just got my rather small setup running a few days ago and am learning the ropes of what coins to mine and where to do it. There's obviously still an awful lot to learn so I will do my best to avoid jamming my foot in my mouth too much.

Right now I've have a 1.6 +/- mhash setup going with a couple r9 290's on a small rig and if things go well I will likely be expanding this in the future. I'm currently mining either FTC on minar.cc or testing out middlecoin just to gauge what can produce the best outcome for me in the long-run. Honestly if I can recoup my initial investment and at least pay for the electricity then it has not been a waste of effort.

My current goal is to gain at least a few BTC and maybe a couple others just to have a little bit of a variety of coins. Variety is a good thing, right?

It's a brave new world out there, and hopefully I won't be thrown to the wolves in the process of getting up to speed with the program!

Thanks all,
Doozie
