Is it just me, or does the US server seem to be bugged again?
I am getting frequent reconnects as well. Not sure if it's something new or just started happening this morning. [2014-01-14 08:48:09] Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted [2014-01-14 08:48:09] Lost 2 shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0 [2014-01-14 08:48:19] Waiting for work to be available from pools. [2014-01-14 08:48:29] Pool 0 stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 not responding! [2014-01-14 08:50:08] Pool 0 difficulty changed to 512 [2014-01-14 08:50:09] Work available from pools, resuming. [2014-01-14 08:50:20] Accepted 4e43ed99 Diff 837/512 GPU 1 [2014-01-14 08:50:20] Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart I don't have a failover server set up, would it help if I add one?

I seem to be getting repeat disconnects for some reason.
cgminer keeps telling me "connection to pool 0 interrupted" and "lost [x amount] of shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0"
Anybody else having this problem?
I have no problem at all with eu server. My strategy is: - eu.middlecoin.com
- middlecoin.com

I was curious if anyone could give me a heads up on this. I have a rig that was mining on middlecoin for the past couple days and when i woke this morning the pc was frozen. This isn't typical so I restarted it and hooked back up to middlecoin and it happened again. The next time I restared I hooked up to a different pool and it hasn't frozen, is there possibly something going on with the pool to cause this? It freaked me out a bit.

I have two rigs - Win7 and BAMT. Both started having issues with cgminer freezing once I switched to middlecoin (never happened with direct LTC mining). Cgminer would freeze once a day either on one of the boxes or on both at the same time (that's why I doubt the issue is caused by some hardware problems). I tried running my Win7 box without OCing, but the cgminer froze last night nevertheless.

I am getting frequent disconnects from the US server as well. Looks similar to what was happening about a week or so ago.

Exactly, wouldn't it be awesome to locate someone doing this kind of shit and just give them a royal beating! They certainly deserve it for messing with thousands of peoples wallets.

Strange. It didn't seem like it was a DDoS attack to me. For a short while, it was behaving like it did during the time it was "bugged" not too long ago (disconnects + delayed reconnects upon switching coins). Then, all of a sudden it died. Maybe an excuse for some downtime and maintenance? Not trying to bash anyone or anything, just giving my view.

Sounds like a heat, hardware or driver issue. Highly doubt it has to do with the pool you are using

It's the pool that was causing it. As soon as I switched pool, the issue was gone. Temps never got above 77°. Anyways, I moved the rig back to middlecoin and it seems fine now. Glad H2o got it back up, thanks buddy!

None of my settings have changed, but this is how my hashrate has been these past couple of days... Notice the past two days... a bunch of rejects and lower speeds. Any reason why this is happening?

The pool doesnt change the way calculations are done at your end (besides different starting values and targets that are beings hashed of course ...) Was the rig really frozen or just cgminer unresponsive ? I can imagine that maybe some connection issues caused cgminer to halt (which might have apperaed to you as a frozen rig) just my 2 satoshis ...
