I updated the config file and opened up the wallet, I hit start mining but it sits at 0 hashes. What am I doing wrong?

everybody wants to sell millions of coye for cents of btc, but nobody wants to buy.
maybe something wrong with it and nobody believes that this coin will reach exchanges...
These are normal prices after the initial price spike that will occur after coin hits exchange. They have the option of selling 2 million for 1 BTC now, or risking the 1 BTC to see the surge/fall after the coin hits exchange to 5 BTC/0.25 BTC. |

well, you may say other coins at most like clocks in dollar rama, but as long as they can tick a day or two in this forum, and another day or two in cryptsy since checkout. They are still clock coins.

This has already been talked about... a Faircoin label for coins that meet certain critieria.
We need a watchdog group not to regulate but to give a seal of approval to coins that
are not of the pump and dump scam variety... i.e. 95% of the alt coins being mined now.

I actually... kind of like it. Right now there are good opportunities to mine pumped crap and convert into BTC/LTC. If I pick the right coin, I can mine 2-3X worth of LTC than I'd otherwise mine doing straight LTC.
Dont BS, I do the same, most you can do is 1.5x LTC direct mining, thats only if you sell right away. With the way altcoins are dropping fast I wouldve had a lot more if I had directly mined LTC. All my stupid DOGE Im holding on to are worth 1/3 of when I mined them. Garbage after garbage come out. I cant believe with all these altcoins anyone is still buying bitcoin itself. I haven't done this, but I did mine LTC, convert to BTC, speculate on NXT and gain about 7x the value I mined |
