Cant mine Beam, is my parameters fine? rx 470's

"lolMiner.exe --coin BEAM --pool beam-asia.sparkpool.com --port 2222 --user <address>.7 --pass x"
I didnt setup profile or params file. just run as is.

Connecting to pool.....
Connected to beam-asia.sparkpool.com:2222
TLS Handshake sucess
Authorized worker: 1
No working connection for 60 seconds (Authorization or Work missing). Reconnecting

If i go back to official cl miner it works fine.

got 16g on the rig, no paging, cpu is ~ 25%
I guess I need to build 1.1.5 myself as there are no binaries on github.

edit:
I built 1.1.5, unfortunately only creating rejects.
Yes, this release is not ready.
We have to wait the debugging from djm.

build? are you using linux?
the website has an downloadable .exe file, i download and it runs awesome in windows, its stable and has more hashrate then all the other previous releases,

im actually using hiveos, and it has the latest 1.1.5

on discord someone show a pic of his private miner, 1070 was able to get 2k hash, dam amazing, it also only requires 4gb of system ram to run, and no need to fill memory or something like that,

people also reporting 470/570 8gb cards are able to get 800-1000 hash, thats still profitable to mine on AMD cards.

im about to leave zcoin as its getting unprofitable to mine at this rate.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: December 26, 2018, 03:14:25 PM

thanks for this info.
What I am seeing is that pool side I only have 50% hashrate.
Locally its showing 8MHs, after 24hrs on 2miners its consistently showing ~4Mhs.
MTP ccminer 1.1.4.
Anyone else?

first of all get the latest miner 1.1.5

you need to look at your cpu ram and ssd (pagefile) usage, cpu should be low usage, if you have 8gb of ram, your ssd will go 100% every now and then in windows 10, if you have 12gb that solves that problem. if your system is accesing page file to hdd then good luck bro.

also look at the log, you should see lots of accepted shares, if you keep seeing building memory then something is wrong.
pool share hashrate calculation is based on accepted share

Low pool payout anyone?
Im consistently getting 50% less then what im suppose to according to online calculator

ive been monitoring actual daily zcoin payout on mintpond.com since the forc and compare it calculator,
currently my 1060 are getting about 560 khs each and pool hashrate reflects my total rig hashrate properly.
but the actual payout is soo low???
i tried mining on 2miners but the pool is just so dam small, and recent luck is so bad, constantly around 150%

been mining on Mintpool.com since the fork as it has the most consistent payout due to its huge network hasrate
currently
network total 24 ghs
mintpond.com 15 ghs
the next closes open pool is
2miners.com 0.4ghs

but according to
https://miningpoolstats.stream/zcoin
it has 95% of all network hashrate probably cos there is
10 ghz on some private pool.

HuhHuh?

UPDATE

thanks to zcoin discord some quick reply

the problem is with the online calculator
in the begining i stuck with www.crypto-coinz.net as it was the only one with updated zcoin info when it fork 2 weeks ago.
stuck with it every since for zcoin stats

currently below pools all show similar actual profit:
https://www.coincalculators.io/coin.aspx?crypto=zcoin-mining-calculator
https://cointomine.today/calculator/coin/XZC/
https://minerstat.com/coin/XZC
even whattomine.com is working fine for zcoin, it was soo dam slow to update its site.

crypto-coinz.net calculations is still way off.

Version 0.13.7.5 released!

Due to a bug in our last release v0.13.7.4, it is required for everyone to upgrade their nodes and wallets to version 0.13.7.5 ASAP. This is a mandatory upgrade that needs to be installed regardless if you had issues or not.

If you were stuck on a block before, this release should automatically help your wallet find the right block. If not, please reindex after you install the new version.

It is crucial that everyone upgrades their clients until Monday the 17th, as clienst on all versions other than this one will stop working at block 118600!

When you upgrade, please first stop your client, delete banlist.dat in your data folder and then install and run the new version.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey man can you add ubqminer 0.17.0-alpha.1

https://github.com/ubiq/ubqminer/releases

ubiq forked an neither CM,ethminer, bminer or phoenixminer works now.

ethminer 0.17.0-alpha.1  doesn't work .

I got the ubqminer working with the upload tool under ethminer

my settings if it helps

Code:
--work-timeout 880 --cl-local-work 64 -G

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I put that in the command line then i let awesome do the rest .

I'm sure your a ware of it, just making it easy for others that mine ubiqcoins

Are you using Awesome miner with ubqminer as standalone?
or have you got it doing auto profit switching?
I cant seem to get it working with auto profit switching,
Ive added the coin, miner profile, pool setup
but auto profit switch working

They resent payment already, took them around a week to response/rectify to the support tick.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: May 23, 2018, 05:30:13 AM
I tested this a lot.

First, you need a VPN connection to Hongkong based server using OpenVPN. Otherwise most of the time you will get a memory error on startup, as reported by many above.

Second, the miner is not optimized as reported by others. And it needs a strong CPU. With 7700k and 6x1080ti the max I could manage is 1400h/s. At this rate it’s not worthwhile over other options.

Third, probably the best OS to try this is with HiveOS, it has GUI interface accessible via VNC, making it much more easier to use than Putty on Windows.

Fourth, it does not swap space. A default HiveOS setup on 64GB stick should work.

Hope this helps anyone wanting to stick it to the Bitmain ASICs;)

im having trouble with even trying to get it runing, can you please point me in the right dirrection?

On HiveOS, this is what i did so far
- miner stop (stop the default miner)
- /hive/btm miner (that is the name of the folder of the miner)
- ./run.sh (and i get the below message)
"Driver = 390 , CARD COUNT=7 , WK=1x3"

- type in miner on another terminal and this is what it shows
2018/05/19 21:31:44 fserver : true
2018/05/19 21:31:51 unknown error%!(EXTRS srting=xxx)

i have not change anything in the folder not even the address or mining pool yet. i assume the miner will just mind to the default address settings.
once its mining i will change the address.

I had this working on HIVEos then suddenly after rebooting kept getting a runtime error... even after reformatting HIVEos, still get the same issue...

root@aa:~# panic: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference
panic: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference
[signal SIGSEGV: segmentation violation code=0x1 addr=0x330 pc=0x636a26]

how did you even get it runing on HiveOS?
I tried it with SMOS but failed,

- /hive/btm miner (that is the name of the folder of the miner)
- ./run.sh (and i get the below message)
"Driver = 390 , CARD COUNT=7 , WK=1x3"

Hasrate summary from this thread

VoskCoin reported someone
86 hs 1050 = 1/8 of B3

foxgiggle
500-600hs on 5x 1060
110 hs per 1060

DTMiner
430 hs 6x 1060 3gb 135W
72 hs per 1060 3gb

eviltuna
500+ 6x 1060
85 hs per 1060

According to whattomine looks like its not that profitable to mine on 1060
https://whattomine.com/coins/242-btm-tensority

It is how ever profitable to mine on a 1050 if you can manage to get it running at 86 has,
I have a 1050ti rig which Im currently trying to run

My 1050 ti currently getting usd 0.75 per day according to wtm mining eth
and if i manage to hit 86 has for Byton wtm = usd 1.1
exclude power cost.

Any way to find the setup for gpu mining this? I would love to test it out.

You can load the miner on a linux box and run it.  I converted one of my SMOS miners over to it.

The link to http://uupool.cn/course/btm is not working - can you load it on some other site for download to help us out?  Thank you in advance

The site seems to be working now - anything special to do for installing the miner ... youtube video you've seen in the past (obviously not this miner but a how to .. otherwise I can check .. just hoping you had a better resource than random looking around.

I downloaded and extracted the miner on (smos/Ubuntu)
     wget http://7fvi19.com1.z0.glb.clouddn.com/btm-miner-1.0.tar.bz2
Changed the address.txt file to my wallet.
I killed the miners that were running. (SMOS Only)
Ran the miner.
Watch the performance 'tail -fn 1 /var/tmp/miner.log'

I had some help with killing the miners. I had to create a bash script to do that. If you are running SMOS then let me know and I will show you how.

Im in the process of dl smos now
Fairly new to Linux
- How do you kill miners with a bash script? (I assume is some sort of startup.sh in some folder?)
- I currently have HiveOS guess no one has tested on it yet?
- Once you have the kill scrip, how do you run btm-miner from the web interface? or are you doing it all on the actual mining box?
