3. There are financial risks associated with mining cryptocurrencies. These risks can be related to changes in exchange rate of the cryptocurrency or to changes in the algorithm that is used to mine the cryptocurrency.

Got shipping notification as well this morning on my 1st one (ordered 2nd one the following day, and a 3rd one 4 days later).
My order id was 0012018050305266 for the one that shipped this morning.
Peter
Hmmm... the previous theory about the order number doesn’t make sense then. I checked the email that shows when my payment was received and Mine should have shipped already. Ah well... it’ll ship when it ships I guess... I believe Bitmain is shipping in the order payment was received and not by order number. This is the time stamp for 607th Z9 that was shipped this morning. 607 2018-05-04 01:09:55If your payment received date and time is before that, expect to receive your Z9 in 2-3 days. Yeah that’s what I thought as well... hopefully this should ship tomorrow since my payment shows as being received before the last one on the list 0012018050305492

OK so the order number from bitmain is clearly in the format:
001YYYYMMDD#####
where ##### is your sequence in line for that day. I am 05060067x and they have shipped up to 050400204 so basically I'm two days behind which could be 500 units or 5,000 units. Depends on how many were sold on those days!
Couldn't we just look in the payment details section of our order? Where the last two lines will show your payment date and time? Payment Detail Payment date : 2018-05-04 01:08:00 That shows you the date / time of order. The order number has a count of units per day. You can derive as much info from their twitter posts, but say for example if you were order 500 on the 4th of May, you should expect yours to be shipped tomorrow, as they are up to 204th unit of 4th of May. Looks like I've got a long way to go then... 0012018050305492

Much to dmwardjr’s chagrin, I pulled the trigger on two more mini’s. A risk I’m willing to take for 600USD a pop.
What was the shipping cost and duties? I chose DHL, it was $99 for shipping. Not sure what duties will be, probably 10%, I’m in Canada. These coupons are un-stackable so you paid for 2 X shipping?

$250 coupons = $600 Z9 mini for batch 2 hmm. The way I see it, if Zcash doesn't fork by Dec the $600 batch 2 Z9 mini will break even at least. If it does fork, well that's good for my gpu farm. The worst case scenario is the Z9 non-mini having way superior efficiency than the mini. The ProgPOW github did mention equihash ASICs have a potential 100x efficiency gain over gpu and the Z9 mini "only" has 10x efficiency. Link: https://github.com/ifdefelse/ProgPOW#equihashNothing risked, nothing gained. If things look good on July 14, I will be in for a few more $600 Z9 minis/doorstoppers.

re: payments

Dear users,
According to the latest notice, most exchange platforms will disable BTM ERC20 wallet address (beginning with 0x), and to ensure the security of user’s earnings, Antpool now ask all users to set BTM mainnet address (beginning with bm) in Settings to avoid losses. The emergency solution is as follows:
1. Clear all user’s ERC 20 wallet addresses in the Settings.
2. Cancel all the pending payments with ERC 20 wallet addresses and resend them later.
3. Please kindly set BTM mainnet wallet address asap, if you need to withdraw BTM.
4. Actually we already began to make BTM payouts on May 18th. It is just that there were some issues with our BTM wallet, so that the progress of the payments would be very slow. Our engineers are urgently dealing with this issue, and it is expected that BTM daily payment will be back to normal on May 28th. If you haven’t received your daily payment before that, please just wait patiently.
Note: If users configure wrong wallet address, their earnings will be lost and can’t be recovered!

Anyone else notice this 3rd light blinking after the update? I recall it being solid before I did the update and I'm not sure what it means.

For you folks who replaced your fans, be aware that with the new firmware that increases hash-rate, the chip temperature will also increase. Might wanna keep any eye to ensure you're getting adequate cooling.
