My vote. I would just say "Decentralized Privacy." because you then also can refer to the Vootmarket, not just Nitesend.

Hi man,

just a short question about the anon implementation. You said its based on a website. Is this the final stage of the development then or still being developed? Will you have some kind of implementation of anon within the coin code too?

Regards
BB

enlighten me, why is this shitty coin good?

I'll quote you what I said to the Poloniex Team earlier today in their new irc chat.

"The primary innovation that we've already done is rewarding direct-to-charity contributions with our coins. We never touch the money, it all goes directly to the charity through our fundraiser page that is 100% managed by a third party hired by the charity itself.

Second is our unique website based implementation of anonymous transactions that allow more flexibility when sending and receiving coins. A receiver could just as easily anonymize their receive address as a sender could anonymize theirs, using our system.

We very strongly hold that a coins value should be based on what it delivers, and not what it is currently developing, and that's why we are also making it a priority to not hype upcoming features, and literally just to drop the bomb when we complete them. "

Pair that with the dedication, attention to detail, transparency, and level of quality that our team has shown since relaunch, and you'll start to understand why we people are so confident in the long term success of PinkCoin.

Dont miss out on the newcomer Groestl used in Groestlcoin. In a test that was done comparing most of the known algos Groestl was the most energy efficient and especially friendly for CPU/GPU mining. It's the future. Check out the comparison here:

I have donated 50 GRS to the faucet, should be good for awhile now.

I have also been trying to vote as often as possible on Mintpal. Even if there's almost no chance it will lead to us being listed, it might make others take pause when they browse through the vote list and see, out of nowhere, GroestlCoin in the upper rungs of the list. I have to say that GRS is shooting up through the ranks compared to many coins that are sitting ducks on there!

There's no doubt in my mind that Poloniex will add GRS at some point, though we might make the biggest splash if it happens just after CoinMarketCap listing, which should hopefully be soon. Ideally it'd be nice for visible development to be going on when the community at large takes notice, be it gruve_p or a team he has given his blessing to. We seriously need to fine-tune the website & either update the OP of this thread or create a new thread.

Relax Calhil, the dev is busy at the moment thats why he hasn't added it. The price fluctuates up and down as it is usual for young coins. So nothing out of the ordinary.

We are marketing the coin hard on Twitter at the moment and together with Coinmarketcap and one of the larger xchanges we will make the noise that we need.

60 new followers on Twitter in one day. Thats more many coins have. Execoin e.g. has 87. Not bad for Groestl.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin [LTC] X11 hardfork at block 564,480 on: March 30, 2014, 02:08:31 PM
Guys, what you are discussing has already been done. Hirocoin is a litecoin clone with X11 algo. Don't make the mistake of thinking Hiro comes from Darkcoin, which most people believe. And on top of that a lot of blockchain security issues have been addressed. Hirocoin is adapting the best features available into one coin. So take a look at Hirocoin.

Dev, you need a twitter account, reddit page and maybe Facebook account NOW! This should be your FIRST priority if you want this coin to make it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hirocoin - Launched - X11 Hashing - Secured Blockchain on: March 18, 2014, 09:35:12 AM
Thanks HiroS,

I know your announcement, but still I am struggling to understand what part of the coin, if any, is new to the altcoin community. For example, as your are saying yourself the X11 algo is taken from Darkcoin. So it is not new. Regarding the security of the blockchai e.g. Quarkcoin has 'automatic checkpointing' too. So is there anything else in the blockchain security that other coins don't have? Can you please clarify on that to convince others to become supporters.

We are the first conventional X11 coin and use best-of-breed. As said by Verdun Darkcoin chooses the inversely proportional payout and Quark started their blocks at a reward of 2048 which is now 1 which is incredibly unfair. There is nothing bleeding raw new, just well selected tech and coded with choices that should prove popular. There was a gap right here where Hirocoin is and I see the long term potential of X11. Things do not have to be new, they need to be done right.

Agree with that. Thanks for filling in!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hirocoin - Launched - X11 Hashing - Secured Blockchain on: March 18, 2014, 09:06:27 AM
What differentiates Hiro from other alts - what are the key differentiators? Anybody smart enough to clarify that in an clear cut manner?  Wink

One difference is that it is thoroughly coded before launch  Wink

The key difference is that it uses the X11 hashing algorithm which I hope to make the next home for GPU miners when Scrypt ASICs become common. I am working on getting mining software optimised for X11 which will help us greatly. Also the Hirocoin blockchain is secured, so anyone can use it without fear of transaction roll backs which is becoming more and more common on small coins. Attackers throw 51% hashing power at a coin to push their own chain on orphaning the original blocks.

Please read the beginning thread carefully as all this is mentioned there.

nxt-e's biggest volume pair is hiro/btc?

I just checked and we have the highest volume on NXT-e. Not bad going for such a new coin.

Thanks HiroS,
