Awesome, thanks for posting an update.
I think the idea of having to dedicate GPU power and literally support the monero network to get a ticket to the event is pretty neat, props to who ever came up with that lol.

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for events like this in the future, i think that'd be an interesting experience. It's exciting to see how crypto may interact into other activities.

Lol, interesting. If you don't mind, post your thoughts/results afterwards. I'm curious to hear about a "crypto rave".  GrinBTC

IMO, don't use a VPN unless it's cryptostorm. See link "Don't use VPN services" -> https://gist.github.com/joepie91/5a9909939e6ce7d09e29
It's not often i have to use a VPN, but when i do, i prefer cryptostorm. Everything is decentralized and open sourced. It's actually really cheap. Hope that helps for anyone reading.
https://cryptostorm.is/ Here is the CS link also. I am not involved with them in anyway.

He ironically had a pretty good podcast with Joe Rogan all about this topic. It's worth the listen if you have the spare time.
I think about 30 minutes in it starts focusing on bitcoin/crypto twitter. <http://podcasts.joerogan.net/podcasts/jack-dorsey>
It got me a little excited as i've been following the square/bitcoin stuff for quite awhile now.

I was surprised to see Grin as a payment option, especially on bitcointalk. I suppose it's always nice to have an alternative choice for odd scenarios.
It's an interesting project that i'm keeping an eye on also, will be neat to see where it goes  Smiley
