The chart is positive and consistent with the market and i believe that now is the time to buy Bitube, but there are really many negative comments on this topic and to solve these negative caveats it is necessary for the dev or the team to fight these issues in a simple way. Someone know where to find the dev or the team? Overall it is a great project but lack connection to the community.

RE: mining BitTube coins. I am seeing not much more hashrate on 16 cores, as i see on 8 cores... using xmrigCC is there any way to maximise thread mining output ? anyone? The algo is 2mb scratchpad. That means it needs 2mb of CPU cache per core/thread. You probably got 16mb cache, so 16 / 2 = 8 You might get a tiny boost using more than 8 cores, but not that much. EDIT: correction, TUBE is 4 MB scratchpad...so you might see most efficient hash/s at 4 cores with 16mb cache, more cores will add a bit, but not that much Its all about scratchpad and cache simply

Can someone explain me please where I have to stake 5k coins to get the card and how do I claim it after I put the coins on staking? In your TUBE wallet. You will be able to register for the card at block height 140k, which is in about 10 days (countdown: http://counter.tubeapps.io/countdown/index.php ). It will be probably explained better by then. They will be issuing the cards in Q4 of this year. You will not be able to use the 5000 tubes, unless you cancel the card, or they change the stak amount, because of the price.

If this fork happens it will not disrupt the purpose of TUBE? Which is to reward content producers and they choose the cryptonight algorithm precisely because it gives everyone access to sustainable mining! Are TUBE prices currently reflecting this uncertainty and disapproval of some? Does anyone know when there will be coin halving? At this rate it will be difficult for TUBE to get some added value, because the adoption of its platform is not complete and still with these uncertainties... Well, some black months for TUBE is approaching. Here is some info that should explain the plan with airtime [airtime will be done at 110k height, but "activated" at 140k height] https://coin.bit.tube/announcements/change-rewarding-distribution/Goodbye views, hello Airtime.
We want to establish BitTube as a video platform that benefits everyone involved, and for that reason, we are changing the reward distribution mechanism of BitTube.
Upcoming changes to the reward distribution mechanism.
Currently, video publishers get 90% of the coins generated by the viewers, who are mining in direct competition with professional miners. Under the current model, viewers are able to generate only a tiny fraction of the newly mined coins, hence the publisher’s revenue is very small.
The new distribution system will be more balanced, and it will create additional earning potential for the publishers and for the viewers too.
We plan to reserve a fixed 30% of each new block reward specifically for rewarding publishers and the viewers and to fund further development and marketing.
Currently, our reward is 454 BitTubes [TUBE] per block, and a new block is created every 2 minutes on average. When the new distribution will take place, 30% of that reward (136 BitTubes) will be distributed as follows: 70% to the video publishers, 20 % for the viewers, 5% for maintenance and continuous development. The remaining 5% will be accumulated for marketing purposes, fees for listing on new exchange and airdrops. Here is roadmap: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitTube/comments/8lktiw/development_roadmap/Here is faq: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitTube/comments/8lk12r/faq_frequently_asked_questions/

I'm not very happy with the coming fork, that's a huge difference with my CPU which I'll use for another crypto.
Yep, if you get the most out of CPU, you are done with TUBE mining. So am I Might leave the smaller GPU on it, maybe...depends on what will I actually get.

THEY DO IT EVERY DAY STARTING , AT 3 AM.
THEY DUMP IT SLOWLY SO THAT THEY DONT CREATE PANIC. YOU CAN CHECK THAT YOUR SELF. GO TO BITTREX AND CHECK THE PRICE GOING DOWN EVERY DAU AT 3 AM SINCE EARLY JUNE. EXCATLY AT 3AM IT STARTS.
THEY EVEN ADMIT THAT THE COINS ARE MINED VERY FAST.
Pretty sure no one disagrees with that. Thats why there is the fork happening. The fork pretty much means that the devs also agree. As much as they would love to put the fork out right now, it needs testing. I cant disagree that this might have been predicted sooner with the light algo. Mistakes were made. Many other similarly affected coins dont even care to try and fix it. I can only say, we will see what happens

I dont get it. Did they just admit that their algorithm is one that supports the downtrend of the price....forever?
The reward from mining a block goes down. Its not about the price of it. Less reward = less supply = eventually increasing value [if there is at least some demand] For example, bitcoins rewards decreases every 4 years as Iam reading. A coin is designed in such a way that it should never exceed its max supply. However the question is will a coin reach its max supply and when? Let’s take Bitcoin as a example. It is estimated that around year 2140 BTC will reach its maximum supply. Bitcoin has controlled supply and its block reward decreases every 4 years. Its expected by the year 2032 99% of the Bitcoins will be mined. To mine just that last 1% it takes 100 years. Practically we don’t think Bitcoin will reach its maximum supply which is 21 million. One reason is there are so many Bitcoins that are lost which are of no use. Also the miners won’t continue mining if the rewards are too less. So what happens once Bitcoin reaches its maximum supply? The answer is simple. There would be no more inflation. If the demand of the coin keep raising then its value will raise substantially. But will the demand for Bitcoin raise in future, who knows? Source: https://coinguides.org/circulating-supply-total-supply-max-supply/Should be something similar. Simply, with time it will get harder and harder to mine, because of less rewards...so if there is something to worry about, then its the question if we will even reach it in 2050. [its probably more likely that we might reach it later than sooner, but Iam no expert on this] Just not sure if the decreasing rewards are only based on time? [but I guess so] It might have been mined a bit too fast right now with the light algo [too fast, too soon], but we gotta see what the fork will do to the mining overall. But for me with Ryzen 1800x: Current algo: 2200H/s New heavy algo: 180H/s XFX Radeon HD 7970 3GB DD: Current algo: 1342H/s New heavy algo: 277H/s Big difference coming.

This was one official answer I could find on topic "current base reward" Which mentions if we reach it in 2050, with a little explanation. [ Still cant have embedded images D: ] ...also, apparently coinmarket cap has wrong info and they have been asked to change it, but they seem to be too lazy about it.

Well, As he might be ignored because of the WAY he writes - he was right so far.
Any comments from devs on his claim about 1 billion coins?
the algo will be switched to a custom optimized heavy on 2nd June. I think you mean 2nd of July? @mycoinbtc, any comment that it'll only happen around 2050 at current rate? Yeah my bad xD 110k height 2nd July

AFAIK 1 bil will only be reached in 2050. The main reason for the price going down is that its right now extremely CPU friendly to mine, so botnet "owners" took advantage of it for quick profits. But the algo will be switched to a custom optimized heavy on 2nd July. CPU mining will be quite useless. Price is expected to go down pretty much until the fork, maybe even some days after it. Devs would probably say something similar Price is probably more expected to go up with "airtime" at 140k height rather than at 110k fork.

That means I can rename the nvidia .txt file nvidiabittube for example and do a batch file like this below? xmr-stak -c nvidiabittube And the same with the pool and url ect. and it won't generate a new file too? thx And in that same folder where xmr-stak is I can add another coin too? Yeah. But you better also add .txt there if your config is a text file, or it seems to create a new config "file" without .txt for me if I dont do that. [unless you want that] NOTE: Notice the capital -C and non-capital -c in the launch parameters: -c, --config FILE common miner configuration file -C, --poolconf FILE pool configuration file I recommend using --poolconf and --config instead, to avoid confusion/mistakes in the future. xmr-stak --poolconf poolX.txt Similar for nvidia config: xmr-stak --nvidia nvidiaX.txt or you can combine them: xmr-stak --poolconf poolX.txt --nvidia nvidiaX.txt or add more: xmr-stak --poolconf poolX.txt --noAMD --noCPU --nvidia nvidiaX.txt There are also some "pre-launch" variables you can play around with: For example my .bat file for CPU+AMD mining with some GPU variables set I found in some guides. [ didnt really notice much effect though, might be different on nvidia, or might not work at all ] setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 xmr-stak --noNVIDIA --cpu CPUFull.txt The "setx" might only apply for Windows by the way. [its different for different OS]

Eh, excuse me. I somehow missed this in the FAQ: Q: How do I put an image in my post/thread? A: First you have to upload it to some image hosting site. Just google it, I'm sure you'll find one that suits you. Then simply put in the link to that image like this: Code: Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why? A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.0). You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member or if you pay a small fee. See more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.0. Thread can be deleted. Thanks!

Hello. I would like to ask... EDIT: Already found the answer, see the post below. Is it intentional that if I try to post an image to a post in the [ IMG] tags, the image will not get embedded. It will simply change into a link as if I never put the [ IMG] tags in. But if somebody quotes my post, the pictures seem to get embedded in the quote of the post. Is this expected behaviour? Or does it have something to do with the forum ranks? [Iam pretty new here] I did try to read about forums rules and ranks and so on, but didnt notice any mention of it. I link screen caps a lot and never had such problem on any forum. Test image with img tags: Test image without tags: https://i.imgur.com/oTRYYgJ.pngNow try and quote me. Thanks!

But both was ok few days ago ... now the info is wrong.
Think its fine now, at least on CoinLib: https://i.imgur.com/Qt1eHWR.pngBut, by the way there are 2 TUBE coins on CoinLib One is the old IPBC: https://coinlib.io/coin/IPBC/BitTubeAnd one is the current TUBE: https://coinlib.io/coin/TUBE/BitTubeBut both show up as TUBE coin, the link is different though and so is the infos in them [IPBC one has outdated info]. But yeah, I did notice that many pages had some weird info, or some sites which were showing the value of TUBE had trouble loading the price in last few days, since Bittrex listing. But the ones I noticed seem fine now, so maybe it got fixed. EDIT: seems more or less ok on coinmarketcap.com as well: https://i.imgur.com/OIMIbkA.png

what is happening with the price it is one of the lowest ! Is this a scam ? or just people manipulating the price!! ?? Price before bitrex listing was about 0.15 USD Went to about 0.40 USD with bitrex listing. And its steadily coming down, now at around 0.20 USD So its not the lowest now, overall.

xmr-stak Looking at the OP it really doesn't show how to put call cpu conf ...call coin conf... call gpu conf... call emr-stak so I can make a bat file for each algo without disturbing the other coins settings. Very confusing. It could have been made like ccminer so easy to use. Anyone have a nvidia bat file that does muti coins from one folder that the miner is in? Any help plz. thx Execute it from command line like this: xmr-stak --help It will give you the launch parameters where you can specify the config files to run. Documentation of xmr-stak is on github. EDIT: here Usage: bittube-miner [OPTION]...
-h, --help show this help -v, --version show version number -V, --version-long show long version number -c, --config FILE common miner configuration file -C, --poolconf FILE pool configuration file --noUAC disable the UAC dialog --benchmark BLOCKVERSION ONLY do a 60-second benchmark and exit --noCPU disable the CPU miner backend --cpu FILE CPU backend miner config file --noAMD disable the AMD miner backend --noAMDCache disable the AMD(OpenCL) cache for precompiled binaries --openCLVendor VENDOR use OpenCL driver of VENDOR and devices [AMD,NVIDIA] default: AMD --amd FILE AMD backend miner config file --noNVIDIA disable the NVIDIA miner backend --nvidia FILE NVIDIA backend miner config file -i --httpd HTTP_PORT HTTP interface port

Hello guys. I just tried to mining page from bittube site and it doesnt work with my GPU(NVIDIA 6GB 1060). Do you have any idea what might cause this?
https://bit.tube/startmining - Never loads for me either. Pretty sure few others here mentioned that as well. Looks like this:

I'm running xmr-stak with IPBC for currency and works good but I was using indeedminers fork of xmr-stak with currency cryptonight_lite_v7 and was working than the pool stopped accepting shares is the a different command I'm missing I'm running these miners on hiveos
Think XMR-AEON-STAK now also has currency "IPBC", so maybe you need to use that instead of cryptonight_lite_v7 They now support it officially. Got no issues with XMR-AEON-STAK 2.4.8 Hi friends! I still have a lot of IPBC on Livecoin, I was not following the new thread, is it too late to swap them for TUBE ?
IPBC = TUBE Livecoin is just late at renaming it. No need to exchange, its the same thing.
