1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DESICO - The world's first platform to issue and trade security tokens on: July 18, 2018, 10:30:08 PM
DESICO will use the exchange of security tokens as a key part of its infrastructure. This exchange will ensure the immediate liquidity of any security tokens issued by any business listed on the DESICO platform. Exchange will be subject to regulatory oversight. It's great!

And this is key. If holders are able to gain liquidity quickly, we may soon see the Security Token boom we've been waiting for.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: July 18, 2018, 10:02:57 PM
Crypto is for everyone... but not for the faint hearted. Or if you are, buy some put it in cold storage and forget about it for the next 5 years. It's too easy for most people to let their emotions get the better of them and buy/sell at the wrong time. It is however, more profitable for risk takers.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the bitcoin hype gone? on: July 18, 2018, 09:31:51 PM
Bitcoin became 'popular' for all the wrong reasons in the run last year. Too many people wanting to get rich quick. Hopefully the last 6 months has shook most of them out by now. Though they're likely to be the ones who sold the bottom and will fomo back in later. Rinse and repeat  Grin
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin making the world go crazy? on: July 18, 2018, 09:24:25 PM
After the run last year? Money. I feel people have been flocking to Bitcoin purely due to FOMO of making money. The amount of people who brought the subject up to me at work, at family gatherings, socially, in the hairdressers you name it... and when I ask what they know about Bitcoin and blockchain?! Their blank faces scare me. It became 'popular' for all the wrong reasons, too many people trying to get rich quick.

I am interested on this business. I will watch this to see what is going to take place!

This bitcointalk page is fantastic, everyone is so helpful with spreading all the latest news on Contract Vault. What a great community we have here!

I love the idea behind Contract vault, it has a real relevance in todays modern world. Business are changing, the world is evolving, if you don't evolve with it, you will get left behind. Smart contracts are the future and thats why I'm backing this fantastic project!

I agree. Definitely seems to address the practical usability of smart contracts. The sooner we can accept these functionalities in day to day business and life; the closer we are to wider acceptance and mainstream adoption. That is just another reason why I am supporting Contract Vault.

Only recently found Desico but already I can the potential. Also, to already have a demo preview available is excellent. This is definitely a step in the right direction for the future of security token ICO's. Looking forward to this one.

From what i have seen, there is no other project similiar to this one and thats great as it is always good to be the first. Sure others will follow in time but the whole concept of being the first is what will build this project, along with all that their will be plenty of money flowing in as so many people will have been waiting for this kind of development and now here it is ready for us all.

I agree. Great looking unique project by all accounts. I'm still doing my research but I feel very optimistic so far.

I've enjoyed watching what the team have been up to this week. London Tech Week is a huge deal, so I have loved seeing the updates in their Telegram channel. Exciting times ahead.

I agree, this has been a great week, I think word is getting out. Let's keep the momentum going and keep spreading the word.

So I've only just come across Contract Vault but already I can see so many advantages this project can offer. I love the fact that the marketplace will be open to everyone. I'm also sure lawyers will favour being able to scale their work too; they don't have the easiest of jobs. Glad I stumbled on this on another thread, looks like a great investment.

As a believer in education I feel that OSU is definitely one to support. The opportunity to lower costs, remove third parties and utilise blockchain tech and really change things up within the education space. Excited to see where this project will go.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start mining.. Is it a good idea?? on: June 02, 2018, 09:03:00 PM
Personally I don't think it's worth it nowadays. The competition is too fierce for small miners, mining pools may be more effective but then the fees will reduce your profits. Then of course you need to consider the reward halving. I would be tempted to look at mining other currencies to be honest.
