1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Roger Ver lost his fuckin' mind? (this thread is about Marshall Long) on: October 09, 2018, 11:31:02 AM
Tell us more about how you filled in for free as Cryptsy CTO because it was BitJohn-fun to do, then moved on after they found somebody else, that being BitJohn filling the position after Paul Vernon let the CTO - you - go for undisclosed reasons. Surely, you got paid as CTO of Mintsy and Project Investors, didn't you, or did you preform those positions for free as well while you charge a $150/hr fee for services rendered via your consultant agency while also running the largest bitcoin mining farm in all of North America while jet-setting the planet when not overseeing your drone outfit in Cleveland from the comforts of your home in Houston while your wife works in Boston. 2  Other / Archival / Re: EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY on: October 08, 2018, 02:49:38 PM
There are already universities or professors who takes up or teaching students about crypto currencies. Proper knowledge would help each and every one of us to be very careful in investing in different currencies to avoid scammers and losses. Knowledge in crypto currencies is one of the key to success in earning a good profit from investments. Wink
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: October 07, 2018, 05:18:33 PM
Then what do you think is the reason why fiat currencies have value despite it being just a paper? Because it is backed by government? Fiat currencies have value because most people sees it as the most convenient currency to use to transact daily(supply and demand). It is the same in bitcoin's case but instead it is being used to transact online. Wink
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have bitcoin shortage? on: October 06, 2018, 03:51:44 PM
It is not possible, bitcoin is a digital currency and just as fiat currency, I don't think there can ever be shortage, the price will only go up and down depending on the demand and supply. This does not imply that there is shortage of bitcoin. Wink
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hello crypto! Bye bye credits? on: October 05, 2018, 07:27:37 PM
People nowadays still using crypto as a trading thing, for getting shot profit instead of using crypto as a payment system.
So, we still need fiat money or credits for trading, because not many people use crypto as a payment!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin -Investors first choice- bleeds the altcoins on: October 04, 2018, 04:54:03 PM
Actually when any coin getting high price people wants s to invest there so if the btc price raise again altcoins users may sell their coin and will try to invest in btc so altcoins may bleed. Wink
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: October 03, 2018, 07:41:08 PM
I don't think that unstable price is the actual problem here. It shouldn't be much of a hassle for such big IT players to prepare means for it.
Its not like they would have to hand-adjust all the prices to the current market trend, right? Few lines of code and they are done with this prob.
Also a lot more inviting promotions could be made, with the usage of price fluctuations. Wink
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see on: October 01, 2018, 03:33:41 PM
The government may ban Bitcoin in their country, but they can not ban their people from participating in Bitcoin. In my country, the act of issuing, providing, using illegal means of payment (including Bitcoin and other similar virtual currency) is considered illegal and may be prosecuted. But let's look at how we stay active and more and more people know about Bitcoin. This world is growing by technology and Cryptocurrency is an example. Wink

10  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: The duplicate input vulnerability shouldn't be forgotten on: September 29, 2018, 07:02:10 PM
I agree with DooMad completely. Diversity is the only real solution to network security.

We have to deal with the fact that bugs are found in absolutely ALL software.
Only thing we can hope is that it is: A) rare that bugs are found in all software at the same time and B) that no single entity will likely have all of these bugs at that time. Wink
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: September 28, 2018, 04:16:46 PM
Bitcoin was never to be treated as a threat to any job nor national currencies.  It is an additional tool to better the economy. Remember that some country treats bitcoin to be taxable. Bitcoin remains tax free as long as it remains in digital circulation but once cashed out, applicable taxes are imposed. Thus, bitcoin helps government to gain additional income. Wink

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man sells house. Earns $20,000,000 from Bitcoins on: September 27, 2018, 01:24:26 PM
Bitcoin is for those who dare to take risks, and the man has proven that if we want to get something big, then we must be prepared to face the risk. I admire the courage of those who dare to take risks that ultimately get big profits, in my opinion, if you are afraid of risk you should stay away from bitcoin, because we will not get anything big, if we always want to be in a safe or comfortable zone. Wink
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 25, 2018, 11:37:12 AM

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government trying to stop bitcoin, what I see on: September 24, 2018, 10:55:15 AM
Several Governments and heads of states have been against bitcoin and its transactions because they cannot receive any tax on the currency. But that is not a big deal you know? they can never stop bitcoin. Wink
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High risk results to high rewards on: September 20, 2018, 05:55:24 PM
Well taking risk is the first step towards success, so if you are a bitcoin investor there is no fear to have this risk in your investment, it is era of crypto currency and we must have some saving for our future because it is gonna be our destiny, it never remain the same in price so better buy at the lower price and sell at the higher, taking risk is surely not a big deal if higher profit will meet you in this journey.   Risk is a norm in every investment, Bitcoin is sure a currency to hold until it become accepted globally as a means of exchange, yes it is volatile but the gain worth it at the long run!!! Wink
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: September 18, 2018, 04:57:41 PM
I think there are a lot of people with such experience. now I can only advise to keep the money that remained in the cryptocurrency. I do not see any sense to display them at the current price! Perhaps some of us have our own lessons about Bitcoin, and I feel that Bitcoin has given me lessons. This experience can be summed up to create the chance of chance for Bitcoin. Wink
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: September 17, 2018, 06:51:26 PM
People called bitcoin as a fraud or ponzi because they don't understand about bitcoin, they only make their own conclusions without learning the true of bitcoin, if those people want to take their time to learn they will notice that bitcoin is totally different, some of them only know bitcoin from the media, so they only know the surface of bitcoin! Yeah there are still people that call bitcoin a ponzi, bubble or whatever they like because they have either bought at peak and sold in panic for loss or they never got chance to ride the bitcoin train  Grin.
The one who are making good money with bitcoin trading and investment will always love this technology which gonna disrupt whole world's financial system.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 16, 2018, 01:55:30 PM
Exactly. Having complete control over your funds as you do with Bitcoin is obviously a huge advantage over the fiat bank system, but can also be a disadvantage if you are careless with security.

If your credit card gets cloned, or your account gets hacked, chances are your bank will pick up on suspicious activities and lock your account. Even if they don't, you may be able to claim back money that was stolen. If you are careless with your Bitcoin, using weak passwords or brain wallets or something similar, then tough - the funds are gone and there's nothing you can do about it!!!! I think the use of Bitcoin is more convenient than the bank. Bitcoin Transmission Facility Besides, strict security is used in the exchange of bitcoin. Moreover, if you do not have a solid password. Then there is the possibility of damages. Safe in banking than Bitcoin. Because the bank stole your money, you can get it back. If the bank can open up, then your account will be blocked. But in case of Bitcoin, if your password is weak or hacked it will never be returned. So this is as safe as the banks bitcoin.   Wink
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how you gonna evaluate bitcoin after the us dollar? on: September 15, 2018, 11:54:59 AM
Nothing  US dollar do to us. We only need to eat our own work effort only needed. Please do not go with the fiat usage all the time. Transaction will be same for everywhere in this world for using cryptos but Fiat cash will fuck you for sure.
Ignore Fiat and make money with the  cryptos and save fees you bear.   Yes, precisely, this is what I think the next step will be as well. They will find an alternative. A nice alternative that is more convenient and safe for the masses, and they'll spin it in such a way that everyone will eat it up without question. Just like everything else that they've been forcefed.

This is why the concept of bitcoin has so much value, but the application has to be realized before the fiat is defined as useless. It's already well on its way with China and Russia purging their reserves of USD and the IFM talking down the dollar as if they've got some other grand scheme in mind. This could be it!!!
