@QQ
look above the qr Qode
Right now it appeared. Before, when I asked, there was no address and the QR code just said "Generate new address" (I scanned it). They did mention it might take "a few minutes" but I didn't imagine it could be this slow.

Guys, I'm trying to send my old MRC to alcurex in order to exchange them for MRC2. The problem is I can't generate a deposit address on the exchange. I get this button that says generate new address, I click it then nothing shows up and it tells me to "refresh page to see the address". Obviously when I refresh the page I get back to square one with no deposit address to be found.
WTF... I already tried it on 2 browsers so I don't think that's the issue.

So my wallet finally finished syncing but I can't generate a deposit address on alcurex in order to send my MRC there... Jeez, is anything about this coin that works as it should?

I managed to find a build that works but it's been synchronizing with the network for almost a day and it's around 75% still. Is that normal?

Hey, I can't do anything with my old MRC since I can't find an updated wallet that will not crash on OSX. The link on http://microcoin.alcurex.info/wallets-and-tools/ is broken. Can anyone help me recover them since I understand I need to exchange them for the new MRC before they expire?

Guess what, besides this thread right here, I don't think ANYBODY is talking/writing about microcoin. Besides a couple blog posts from a month ago, when the outlook seemed more positive, there hasn't been any mention of this coin anywhere (exchanges not counted). How do you want people to find out about MRC like this? Without new people buying into MRC, the only way is down.

Guys, I have created a subreddit for microcoin a month ago, did anyone even bother to check? I've been busy with work lately and haven't had time to manage it or check back on this thread. I intended to make it prettier and more useful but I don't think it's worth it for 20 users at the moment. I'm sure there's more people right here patting themselves on the back about how the value is going to skyrocket out of the blue or discussing mining settings. Value rises only if value is transferred into microcoin, that means money or services. Those things come from a community of users but I'm sure you know that. The link for people who skim http://www.reddit.com/r/microcoin/obviously

how about releasing an updated osx wallet? not everyone is using windows, you know...

Thanks, I would've explored it more (donation/pay with MRC buttons, wallet splash image etc) but spare time is a scarce commodity for me these days. The main idea was to have a symbol that is simple and clear enough that you can write it by hand if you want. Glad you like it.

my take is "keep it simple" so you don't scare people away, this isn't supposed to be used by crypto geeks only. and don't try to copy all the other coins, mrc is supposed to stand out

I made this in a couple of minutes as a cleaner version of the current logo, while trying (and failing) to compile an OSX wallet. Was gonna use it as a splash. I agree that in the long run the coin needs a better logo, maybe using the µ symbol as someone suggested a while back? Since it means micro anyway and it's (relatively) easy to actually type and use. In any case the website and general image should look professional and inspire trust, you want to differentiate it from all the crap coins, right? I already offered MCR my help with this part if he wants it, very curious to see where the site goes. Back to the OSX wallet, it seems the ASM part in scrypt-x86_64.S is crashing the build. I'm not a coder and am not that much use in debugging but i tried to find any novacoin osx wallet to check how they solved this, to no avail. nor disabling the SSE instructions, as someone suggested for yacoin.
