1gh is getting all the blocks. If you don't spread the hashrate we are fucked

Isn't 1gh a version of p2pool? I don't have a worker and I am using my hvc address....

Get ready guys!

I guess that all the pools have similar status.

What's being tested? GPU mining or something like that?

I have a question about voting. If only block finders can vote on the next block size, does this mean that the pools (1gh) get all the votes? If that's the case, won't every vote always be 1024?(what I'm guessing the pools are voting)

You can adjust your vote in the .bat file.

How can you tell you're mining outside of checking the box?

So I am running 5 gigabyte r9,270s on this board with windows 8.1 and catalyst 13.11 beta 9. The cards are also undervolted to 1.000 and stable. The issue I am having is that gpu 0 is always running 7-8c hotter than all of the rest. My first idea was OK, bad thermal paste so I plugged the card and rebooted. Windows now sees 4 cards, I start mining and boom the new gpu 0 does the same thing. I only pulled 2 cards out in my test but each time I did gpu 0 would move to another slot but would behave the same way. Gpu 1,2,3,4 all run around 68-69c but gpu 0 (no matter which card it is) runs between 75-76c. Also interesting, I excluded the device from config and sgminer sees that its off but still the temps shoot up.

Anyone have any ideas.

Here screenshot of what I am talking about. I haven't test taking more than 2 cards out but so far whatever gpu gets seen in sgminer as gpu0 gets hotter than all of the others.

Agreed, if the developers were not in on this dump then they should be sticking to the coin and moving forward.
After all there is nothing wrong with the code / coin.

As far as I'm concerned, this coin in unsalvageable as long as Wolong holds 700M+ and whatever he hasnt sold yet on mintpal

I can only imagine the sheer look of disbelief for those bagholders who are now just waking up and checking up on mintpal to see if their 70 satoshi auto sell orders were filled.  18 satoshis...what...the...

I feel for you guys Sad
They have been warned. It's their own fault. Just deal with it and learn from your mistakes. Dont trust Wolong and anybody who works/worked with him. Thus dont trust sevoque ever again.

What the hell happened to the market price?
you fools just got scammed

I bought nothing, only mined
Getting scammed into mining this coin is as equally stupid as getting scammed into buying it. But your losses might be not as big. Good for you.

Losses from mining this coin?  I made triple the btc I would have mining a mutlipool or other coin. You only took a loss if you didn't sell off a good portion of what you mined. I was selling 2/3 of what I mined every day.

What does -Q 0 do? and what is the settings for the config?

I would like to know what the -Q is as well. I'm using a forked scrypt-n cgminer and I have never heard of that flag.

Why won't it mine, what am i doing wrong?

start /D "C:\Users\admin\Desktop\vertminer" cgminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://panda.miningwith.us:4888 -u xxx -p xxx -w 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 -I 13 --thread-concurrency 8192

Is the executable in the vertminer directory cgminer.exe? I am using a forked version of cgminer for vert not the actual vertminer. check the executable name

guys i need HELP...

trying to set up one of my miners to get a piece of the Panda action...

getting HW errors like craaaaazy. In 20 minutes of mining im getting between 75 and 100 HW errors on each of 4 280x. (2xAsus and 2x Sapphire)

Have played around with my TC levels but no joy.

current settings.... abbreviated as this is a different PC

I- 13 TC - 8192 --GPU PT -20 temp levels etc engine detail i left off of the scrypt to see if it was causing the errors....

i have tried 8193, and all the way up to 18000... but still getting the errors.

any ideas or advice?

thanks

Paul

so i found that if i lower the intensity to 12 i get hardly any errors, but my hashrate is @270 percard - im thinking this should be around 100 more for each card - how would you do this?

Anybody im struggling here....

Try a tc of 8191, also I would put the core and memclock setting back in. Start at like 1034/1500

Hey everybody, it looks like Wolong is re-releasing this coin without the premine and a virus free wallet. It will also be in scrypt, and you will have a much higher hashrate using your regular cuda/cgminer.

*wow*

Information about release is here.

i thought the price was 0.472

I'm down for 4.

still confused on what exactly i would need to run these. just the power supply you are linking? eveything else will be provided ?

run them is the psu that i put on the main op.
If you are going to run them off of a windows machine then just plug the cable in the usb slot.

they were 0.472 for batch 1.

although with BTC dropping the price had to go up.

2 questions for you. First, if plugging these into a windows do they require a separate power supply for each unit or,can I just use a powered usb hub. Second, how many of these can be ran from a windows machine, third, is there a modified cgminer that will utilize these?

Thanks in advance.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard of choice for 6 or more GPU's on: February 08, 2014, 03:25:05 AM
Hey guys,

I'm contemplating this board for my 5x 280x rig: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130727

MSI Z87-G55

Has anyone successfully gotten 5+ cards to run on this board yet? Perhaps 280x cards? If yes, what slots did you populate?
I ask because an older rig of mine runs on the Z77-GD65 and needed presence pins in ALL three 16x slots for six GPUs to run properly.

Thank you in advance Smiley
If you're only going to be using 5 GPUs, get the 970A-D3P. It's much cheaper than the one you linked, and I can confirm it runs 5x 280x or 5x 290 just fine.

Did this board need presence pin shorts for any of the slots?

whats your config for the 270 (non x). I cant seem to get my gigabyte 270s stable with any of the settings in this thread.

EDIT

Currently testing the following (5 Gigabyte R9 270 non X)

-v 1 -g 1 -I 17 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 12992 --gpu-engine 1086 --gpu-memclock 1475 --temp-target 73 --auto-fan -- temp-overheat 85 --temp-cutoff 90

Here's what it looks like so far

1 hw error right when I started but havent had one since. I will report back if it becomes unstable

Update

So far only 2 HW errors and its been running for over 2 hours.

Update2

Been going for 8 hours now and I have 8 HW errors. I'd like to get to the point where I don't have HW errors at all but I am pretty satisfied with where I am at right now.

So I am trying to get my gigabyte 280x's going and I am using the following config

-v 1 -w 256 -I 12 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-powertune -20 --temp-target 73 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-cutoff 90 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1000 --thread-concurrency 8191

GPU 0 runs is basically not hashing

No clue whats going on.

Reboot fixed it...
