PND is 3 times more profitable to mine than PANDA.   Going rate is 5 satoshis for PND.  At current difficulty of 7.6, thats about $41 per day at 1 mh/s.

If that is the case, surely it makes sense to not let the world at large now, as presumably, mining becomes harder the more people that mine?

Why would you feel the need to post this information in your competitor's thread?

Why do you feel the need to do this? It just doesn't make sense. Can you not rely on your own PAND thread to generate the necessary interest?

What does -Q 0 do? and what is the settings for the config?

I would like to know what the -Q is as well. I'm using a forked scrypt-n cgminer and I have never heard of that flag.

This is seriously getting boring.

FYI - I bought into Pandacoin on the IPO for 2BTC's. Massive risk? Yes, sending irrevocable crytocurrency to an absolute stranger, with no guarantee of success. But I believe in W and the dev team.

I judge on actions. Have I received my PANDA? The answer is yes. So W and co are OK in my books. Did anyone dump? I don't know for sure, there is nothing to rule out the possibility of dumping by W across several accounts. But any such action would be harmful to the coin and its investors. PANDA is currently at a decent price, considering it has only been on for four days.

I bought in at 2BTC (the max allowed), Molly is invested at 50BTC's.

That's the faith we have in the coin, and we all hope the coin reaches a much higher level. What you and your cohorts are attempting to do (albeit not very successfully) is to derail the price, out of some vendetta against W.

What about all the 'innocent' people who have invested? What about the devs? Are you all really that spiteful?

May I suggest that if you have nothing constructive to add, then please kindly leave as you sound like an annoying record that is constantly on repeat.

No-one is forcing you to mine or trade this coin. Let its success derive from the market and not from some childish hate campaign.

Damn, so you're saying you got what you were promised in the IPO and it's worth more already than what you invested? WTF.

I didn't invest and mined from the beginning, have sold 3/4 and made what would normally take me about 6-8 weeks in standard mining.

Sounds like we both got scammed!

Indeed!

Don't I feel like a stupid bag holder!?!

Joking aside, from the IPO I received 8m PANDAs. I've not sold a single one yet. In fact I bought an extra 1.6m at 88 sats. Even though the value has gone down, I'm not panicking and will continue to hold. That's how much faith I have.

Is it possible to run something like vertminer (for pandacoin) with CGwatcher?  From what I've read it looks like you can just point to a miner.exe program and config within CGwatcher.  Has anyone done it and if so can you post a link or some info's?

UPDATE: I've run vertminer successfully with a .bat file, but I'd like to set it up with CGwater.

And did you miss the part about him, molly (50 BTC investor in IPO) and jacobUX (one of the devs) saying that they will be holding until August this year minimum?

Edit - in other words - market manipulation is a moot point since by that time there will be massive amounts more of PANDA available to the market.

So molly said that, and when it rains tomorrow, he might change his opinion, or not, who knows? And whats with the other 200BTC?

OP still worms around the questions... Roll Eyes

I'm in the process of buying some cheap Panda on mint, so hopefully I can cover my ass/IPO of 50BTC once we hit 100+ satoshi. I'm not trying to argue with you by saying this, but I'm just saying if it rains I'm factoring it in. Highly doubtful though. We have come SO far already and it's only day -5- of being live. Let's see where we are at in a month.

Please don't mine or trade the coin if you don't believe in it. I've always believed in making your own decisions.

Hi sevoque

Is it possible to get another pool added, I've been using http://panda.ocukminingpool.com/ which I`ve had very good results from and found support great and fees are 0.5% typically around 50+MH.
Would be nice to show my appreciation and try increase the hash rate? Smiley

Many thanks in advance

We  unleashed the Panda-Beast on the p2pool network..

In times of pools getting hashrates above of 2gh/s (by a total net hashrate @ 4.2 gh/s) its time to prevent the 51% by using a decentralized way of mining.

In short: "Mining solo in a group" :-)
For everyone who never heard about p2ool and for everyone who wanna escape pool operators, ddos attacks and high pool and transaction fees:

read: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/P2Pool

Just point your miners to one of the two nodes by using your ThePandaCoin WalletAddress as your Username

example:

"vertminer --scrypt-vert -Q 0 -o stratum+tcp://.....:9190 -u PayoutAddress -p anything"

http://bk-eu.cloudapp.net:9190  -> stratum+tcp://bk-eu.cloudapp.net:9190 -> EUROPE
http://bk-us.cloudapp.net:9190  -> stratum+tcp://bk-us.cloudapp.net:9190 -> US (Westcoast)
http://bk-asia.cloudapp.net:9190  -> stratum+tcp://bk-us.cloudapp.net:9190 -> ASIA (South-East)

You cant ping the nodes because windows azure has disabled ICMP :-( ... just give it a shot and watch the stale rate!

Or just setup your local node by using this:

https://github.com/TheoRettisch/p2pool-panda

A 1mhash/s user on my node made in 20hrs 169929.31765675 PANDAS ( http://panda-explorer.pool.minercoop.org/address/Pq1aqQF3Dph5WM1BPraZg4TPjhJXuScUFb )

BOOM!

joined ur p2pool..lets see if I can mine more with 1mh/s Smiley

Are the cardsettings the same?
How many payments, amount en when?
