1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: February 15, 2014, 11:40:04 PM
hi, do this pool has any pool fee?

It has a small fee which has not been disclosed. All profit averages on the site include fees, so that is the actual amount you will earn.

I actually announced a fixed 2% fee couple of days ago. I might go back to progressive fee idea once I have time to work on it. I need to update the website to reflect recent changes.
thx, I'm now mining in your pool
& I think you should put the pool fee in prominent position of the website.

tengettack,

I'm not sure that fees are really relevant in switching pools, what really matters is what the payout per Mhash is.   After all, you don't go to a store and ask what their markup on a product is before you buy do you?   Just like you go to the store with the best price, use the switching pool with the best payout not the lowest fees.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: General way to get current block reward for any alt-coin? on: January 17, 2014, 04:49:17 AM
Sultanen,

Did you ever find out an answer to this question?  I am trying to figure out the same thing.   The best thing I can think of is you could examine the most recent block to see what it's block reward was.

Markm,

If that is really the case, what would stop me from modifying the code on my copy of the randomcond to always output the maximum allowable value on these "random" coins?

Somehow the network must agree on the block reward, no?

I'd say it will definitely reach $2000, and likely $10K by the end of the year.   You have to think about where the value is now and how few users there actually are.   The user base is growing quickly and the price will grow with it.

Mordez,

80kh/s is not very much mining power.  But if that is all you have to work with, I would pick one of the alt coins with very low difficulty, and take your chances that it increases in value.   Maybe DOGE???
