Listen guys, at this point the PR has been lacking solely because I am the only person that is involved with it, and I am extremely busy with finals and stuff. The poker room is going well because I don't have a huge part in it. If anyone is interested in helping us out with PR, let me know. You won't get paid for it ha, but it can obviously help you in the long run if you're a holder.

Hey, so to update my coin sufficiently I need to do three things: lower the block reward, and finally get the KGW fixed. I'm also curious how difficult it is to implement Darkcoin's anonymity.
I will also need this compiled into a Mac client (working with all versions) and a Windows client with an installer.

Don't think a decision has been made yet. Personally, I am leaning towards 1,500. The community, however, needs to be more active for Credits to gain any traction. No, a specific number hasn't been decided yet. We are currently planning a fork that will: update KGW, lower block reward, and increase anonymity. Perhaps some other small things, but that is it for now. |

At 10 satoshis it could increase 1000% at the least. I'm still mining and supporting this coin 100%. Bitcoin didn't reach 1000$ in a few months, it took some time, as will this coin to reach it's true value.  It is disheartening to see the potential go down the drain when the initial community launch was not followed up upon with a burst of activity. Instead, a ghost community is created. I am still waiting for the dev to answer some questions that could lead up to potential usage of Credits but as things stand on, I am considering USDe instead. NEW DEV UPDATE:
As I'm sure you're all aware, the poker room has in fact not been released yet, as it was supposed to be on April 10th. I sincerely apologize for that, as we just didn't finish it in time. It's really all a matter of improving the UI, security and anything else that is essential to have a poker site up and running as it should. It will not be long for it to be actually released, only a couple more days' time.
I will be posting a more in depth dev update in 2-3 days with the various other projects that we are working on, you guys have a good week!

We just got added to cryptofunds.pw , good stuff. I won't be around until Saturday, but I apologize for the lack of a full poker room at the moment. All we have to do finish now is the interface, the backend transaction took a bit longer to code than first thought.

I agree that the block reward should be lower then 2000 in the future, but i dont agree about it being lower then 500.
If we lower the reward too much there will be little incetive for miners to continue supporting this coin.
Also if the coin picks up momentum after the poker room comes out, it wuld be fair that people can still get a reasonable amount of coins to play with by mining.
Yeah it will most likely be decently higher than 1000, maybe 1450 to start.. And then it will be the same, down 20% after every three months. By doing this we're preventing a pump and dump with both the inflation period, and block reward decreases. |
