Let me just post the Sol Ciel Exchange here.
For those who don't know, its a new CR focused exchange. Cheesy
http://www.solciel.com

Btw, just added 3rd trading pair.
And I guess I need to hire UIX designer to make it a bit more easy to use. (I'm only a web developer not a designer.)

Temporary logo for our starcraft league:

Going to be working on it more when I get back from uni.

Prize pool donation address:
CVRmJyTLXE4CrEYycMwqJfWt3ZxLHoFhRu

Great, just donated a decent amount!  For the record, when will you be getting back from uni?

Two hours Smiley Thanks for the donation, total prize pool is now 180,000¤. I think I'll just use https://binarybeast.com/ for the brackets and registration instead of programming a custom site. This makes everything much easier

Oh cool, didn't expect it to be that soon lol.  Yeah that site looks good, this should gain some decent interest.

can you guys drop the block rewards down to around 100 to 500 after the inflation period. Returning back to 2000/block doesn't seem like the inflation period really mattered if you guys do that. Only because the inflation period was short

There is some truth to this.

Very good. Do we have an easy to follow newbie guide for mining credits? I need one for the starcraft tournament so that people can just go to that page and read everything they need to know to get started. Maybe fix http://cr.verleta.net/index.php?page=gettingstarted to be a bit more friendly for newcomers. As of now they would probably all download the wrong cgminer, and they wouldn't know that they need to make a .bat. Also this would be nice to have listed there: https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

Yeah I definitely want to release another version of that.  Anyone here with decent skills working with photoshop?  I myself have a pretty big workload at uni lol, as you can probably relate to.  I also posted on the Subreddit for Starcraft here http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/21yp81/anyone_interested_in_starcraft_tournament_where/ just to gauge interest.

What is credits?
Credits is a brand new cryptocurrency similar to bitcoin. We have an active group of developers who are constantly working on making credits the number one internet currency. Our online poker room is just about to launch and in the future we wish to put a heavy emphasis in the online gambling, and online esports gaming industries. Credits are generated through the process of "mining" with your GPU. To learn more about mining credits click here. Mining credits still has a very low difficulty so you can get several thousand each day. You can trade credits for bitcoin on several exchanges such as swisscex or allcoin, the value of credits is expected to rise as the mining difficulty increases. For more information about credits visit our subredditour thread on BCT or our official website.

How can I get credits?
1. Download a wallet from http://cryptocredits.org/
2. Wait for it to synchronize with the network
3. You can now send and receive credits, your address should look something like this: CVRmJyTLXE4CrEYycMwqJfWt3ZxLHoFhRu. To get free ¤200, make a post in this thread.

Thanks so much, that's awesome!  I just sent you the remaining 70k.  Where should I/you post this in terms of forums/subforums?

I just don't want this coin to end up like MRC has good potential with great name but gets destroyed on the market because the market support cant keep up with inflation rate.

Considering that Cryptos are very much in their infancy (Altcoins even more so,) it's hard to say how inflation will play out. But it stands to reason that you're correct. A lot of the currently held credits are being held for speculative purposes. That's NOT a good thing for the growth of the coin. Lessening their production rate would allow for them to be more generally accepted as a currency in the short term (especially for the gambling purposes.)

First and foremost, a purpose must be established to draw interest. In this case, the casino aspect. That will help bolster the community required to actually grow the coin. Making it a bit more difficult to mine, like you said, 100-500 maybe, could help establish it. Hopefully the early adopters such as ourselves will use our stockpiles to help advance the coin. If someone has trouble mining a 1000, someone offering 100,000 to do something has considerably more impact. Awards for tournaments will be much more significant.

Nice, got another 10k from someone and I'll add in 140k for an even 500k credits. (If someone still wants to donate that would be even better as I see many of the amateur sc tournaments have at least 100USD in the prize pool). I've talked to some guys at /vg/ and they've asked me to contact a guy who has hosted several successful tournaments and he will hopefully help us advertise this in the best way possible.

That's fantastic to hear and thanks for donating some Cr yourself - let's try to get this up relatively soon, it looks like people are pretty excited for it!

Also for everyone in general: I won't be online for the large majority of today, but will be on late tonight.  So don't take it personally if I don't answer your inquiry in a timely manner.

One thing missing from the first post in this thread (and the website front page) is a big emphasis on pre-registration for the poker room.  Perhaps a big banner/title change to accompany it.  Right now the thread title offers pre-registration but it is nowhere to be easily found.

i`ve chosen this coin to begin with, - bought 2 used ATI cards (7950 + 7870) having ~1.1mh together. I`m too slow for litecoin, so I`ll mine credits hoping for its price to increase in future  Smiley

Iv'e pretty much had a similar scenario, had a R9 290 since December but due to the rising difficulty of majority of coins, just one card isnt enough anymore (Poor student Sad ). I've like the look of this coin since i first layed eyes on it. Too many crap coins overshadow the ones with potential.
