Can anyone provide guidance on how to use miningpoolhub (specifically, the " auto profit switching") with Awesome Miner? I want to automatically do profit-switching, with miningpoolhub, mostly because it allows me to get paid in either the coin I'm mining or in a specific coin (ie - auto convert to ETH instead of to BTC). BTC fees are way too high so I don't really want to earn profits in BTC like from nicehash or zpool. This is the help page on miningpoolhub: https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=gettingstartedYou will not be able to use miningpoolhub profit switcher in combintion with Awesome Miner profit switcher. In order for the Awesome Miner profit switcher to work, the profitability information must be known. For services like Nicehash and zpool, they provides API's where Awesome Miner can get this information. For single coin pools, Awesome Miner can also calculate the profitability. For miningpoolhub, it doesn't look like they have any API, so for Awesome Miner this is a pool with unknown profitability. You can of course use Awesome Miner without profit switching to mine on this pool, and use the profit switcher of the pool, but you cannot combine the profit switchers. In Awesome Miner, do I create a 'pool group' where I manually add all the algorithm servers and ports?
ie -
Pool1: lyra2z : us-east.lyra2z-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12025 Pool2: cryptonight : us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12024 Pool3: equihash : us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12023 ...etc
You define this as three separate Pools in Awesome Miner, and then you define a Group Pool that includes all of them. Then you can use this Group Pool from a Managed Miner. I am not a programmer but what do you think about this http://miningpoolhub.com/index.php?page=api&action=getminingandprofitsstatistics. Thanks! I did search both their main page and help page for "api" without finding anything, so I just assumed they didn't have an API. But you are of course correct here and I will take a look if this could be added to Awesome Miner. I was under impression they must have API because i use their multipoolminer. So i digged into the files and found that. Now i am super excited for the new super Awesomeminer. Nicehash, zpool, miningpoolhub...all in one interface! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Just Pm when you will have the link, I don't have access to the download location, kosmost has.
Here you go guys... if you are having trouble connecting to peers and want to update your peers.dat file https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ebjrqthy206rlaq/U70ksPbIepI will leave the link up for a week.. please let the powers that be know so they can add it to alongside the windows client.. hope it works... PS.. I do not use a config file and everything is working fine here... to check that your config file isn't causing a problem just move it or rename it and restart the client.. (you can always move it back after) also make sure you are running the wallet with the logo that matches the front page of this thread... if it has the old logo then you are using the old wallet and you should update it FINALLY!!! Your peers.dat did it!!! I just copied it and deleted the conf and now it's syncing. I wonder what is happening with karma network because my other coins wallet working fine without config file. Thank you very very very much.

I think we would gain if the network had more hashing power.
Common miners, Karma is both one of the most profitable coins and it has a bright future ahead!!!
Mine and HOLD!
Unfortunately , bitcoin price is down. this makes mining karma less practical. Miners need some of that karma to be traded in btc to be sold in in fiat to pay electric bill. At this rate. 1000 Kh/s pays out $2 a day. with electric bill probably half of that. Once we have some projects in beta mode. I'm going to guess price will shoot up and it would make karma very rewarding to mine. Even if those project do take longer, soon with ASICs coming online , all the GPUs people in litecoin dogecoin will move over to all scrypt coin like ours. Our nethash will blow up. watch : ) Anyone mining Karma to sell right now is surely going to re-evaluate their decision in short course At first i mine for money. Like anyone else who have electricity bill. But then i read about karmashare so i "re-evaluate" my self mine for joining it. But the wallet never sync, now i have to "re-evaluate" again about this. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

new wallet is not syncing for me. - windows
- not my first wallet upgrade but very frustrating non the less
- backed up wallet.dat
- installed new wallet
- deleted roaming files(although not really necessary because of name change)
- pasted wallet.dat in new roaming files
wallet opens and shows history but does not connect to network. good job with the trying to moving the coin forward. To be honest I had given up on Karma myself but someone on the Poloniex site in the troll box re-sparked my interest enough to read about the changes. Been mining again and have a couple million on pool site but cant move with broken wallet. Thanks same here, not syncing and it's already more than 24 hours. Tried at 2 pcs, one with win 7 no conf and another one win 8.1 with conf. Checked the log and all the connection to the nodes are "time out". Anybody have same problem ?

Hi all, I have been mining at leaf.hash.so for several days and today i just realised when I compare in the estimation "coins/day" showed at the pool it is half of if i calculated manually with the " block_reward/(difficulty*2^32/hashs_per_sec/3600/24)" formula. As comparison, i checked their SMC pool and the number showed right. Anybody know if Is this an error in the web script or the pool actually take half of the coins earned ? Thanks https://leaf.hash.so/index.php?page=statistics&action=poolThe pool has probably not updated their calculations to take into account the new block reward size. One pool was using 0.75 the max reward value as a basis too, which should have been 0.5, this gave a false impression on the number of coins that could be mined. In that case (not updated their calculations) the only way to check is by the amount of coins that the miners received ?
