1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM OR RIPPLE? on: September 07, 2018, 01:08:08 AM
Don't buy into the ripple hype. Check out The Ivy Project, its supposedly the Ripple Killer!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Marketing Tactics Altcoins Use on: August 15, 2018, 06:49:55 PM
What kind of marketing would you recommend to a new blockchain company? We dabbled with Airdrops and giveaways but there was an enormous amount of bots participating and it wasn't useful to us.

Anybody recommend a strategy besides airdrops or youtube videos?

Has nobody invested in an ICO then?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum Tanking, will the market recover or has the bubble burst? on: August 15, 2018, 06:35:27 PM
What do you guys think about the entire marketing tanking? What would cause Ethereum to drop by almost 50% in a week while Bitcoin is pretty stable?
Any thoughts on the altcoin market correcting itself with all the scam coins going down the drain?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best time to invest in Ethereum has come again! on: August 09, 2018, 12:16:08 AM
It is always a good time to invest in Ethereum, anything under $1000. The impact the Ethereum blockchain has on the world will only grow and grow. In 2 to 3 years we will see all blockchain projects and coins start to slowly rise. Wait 5 years when the regulatory agencies catch up and all the big fish start to invest in crypto, you will see the entire market hitting records we couldn't think imaginable.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP Altcoins on: August 09, 2018, 12:09:33 AM
The problem with Altcoins is that the market was saturated with ICO's and cash grabs with no real-world products to support their model long term. So many people have been burned time and time again, there is little investment happening in the Altcoin space compared to earlier this year.

Altcoins aren't dead, just the ones with poor leadership, transparency, and solid user-end products.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE on: August 02, 2018, 11:27:33 PM
With ripple at the current price of 67c do you think its worth investing in it or not?

Do you belive it will increase in price in the near future?
I think ripple coins are good for investment from now on. I do not know more about Ripple yet, certainly their side has worked with many banks. and it was very nice

Actually, ripple has only worked with 2 banks and are developing a product for only 1. We are working with 10+ developing products.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to invest? on: August 02, 2018, 11:20:54 PM
There are 4 main things I look for when investing

1. Solid Team/Advisory board
2. Idea that has real, plausible implementation for blockchain use
3. Community involvement/hype
4. Reasonably low market valuation/token amount

Always do your research. ICO's are risky because of the unknown factor. If you can find one that is transparent and the tokenomics make sense, INVEST!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: August 02, 2018, 11:15:56 PM
It comes down to the bandwidth of the team behind the token. Our bounty program was completed and distributed on time. As soon as the campaign ended, which the dates were publicly known, we started distributing tokens the same week. I would recommend finding some information about the company and see if the lights are still on!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Have you invested in an ICO? - POLL on: August 02, 2018, 11:10:24 PM
I see that there is a tremendous amount of hate for new ICO's entering the market, some of is unwarranted. I've had some pretty good experiences with ICO's before personally, just requires a lot of prior investment research!

My question is, have you invested in an ICO(s), and have you gotten burned or turned out ok?
11  Other / Meta / Re: Lets go deeper in "brand new" and " newbie" statistics on: July 27, 2018, 11:28:24 PM
Thats a really interesting find. Maybe it has something to do with the hype of bitcoin when it hit $20k, people came to this forum then suddenly lost interest when it he price dropped?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: July 27, 2018, 10:59:21 PM
Yes, yes you should. Sometimes is a pain to buy altcoins, for instance our coin. Right now we are listed on HitBTC so its hard.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: July 27, 2018, 10:54:16 PM
Crypto is the currency of the future m8. The entire world will eventually swap over to crypto because of the instantaneous transaction time and the public ledger, transparency and stability of security.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: July 27, 2018, 10:52:10 PM
We did our own Airdrop, and successfully sent out all the tokens. Airdrops are scams if they come from fishy sources. Ours was listed officially in our telegram chatroom and everyone who participated received their airdrop in a week.  @ivykoin

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: July 27, 2018, 10:33:49 PM
Only a small number of Altcoins will survive. Most of these coins coming out don't have much backing, are not transparent and communication dead ends. The ones that survive will be the ones that give the blockchain community the most value.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell your coins? on: July 27, 2018, 10:01:16 PM
We don't sell our coins, we HODL till the MVP.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Cryptos are the future why are we in the RED? on: July 27, 2018, 09:54:45 PM
The market swings over time, right now we are entering a bull run for Bitcoin. Hopefully altcoins can piggy back bitcoin's rise to raise value over the entire market.
