WARNING!! Crypto Currency is still Experimental software with a lot of clients still in beta too.
With all Crypto's, Use latest Software, follow your coins tweets or Forum posts for news & announcements, and make Back Up your wallets.
If you lost money from fork don't beg for it in here as we are all in same boat.

the issue is everyone update to latest client simple, problem solved.
Well update and redownloed the blockchain I have like 3 weeks ago when it was announced. why else would I be telling everyone else to do it.... DUH. |

I would say most were not aware when bitcoin forked about a year ago.
similar to as 42coin right now, some updated, some didn't, so EVERYBODY most importantly big pools updated to new clients and threw all the hashing at that.
yes, it was not that hard.
and was there people commenting about bitcoin dev's like this?
NO there was not if you check tweets dev's have posted what you should do and probably posted more recently than you think.
It IS Easter holidays right ??
so dev's aahhhh might be enjoying a family holiday you think ?
I know I would like to enjoy some of the main holiday's

You're seriously comparing the most valuable and watched cryptocurrency with a random altcoin? As for the comment on the holidays, as a developer if you don't want to be bothered on the holidays you don't make a production change during the holidays. YES I am comparing and as for you stating most valuable about a year ago when bitcoin had the fork it was like $10-30 a coin and now about $500 and im not sure if you notice that 42coin is worth about 50 bitcoins so check facts before jumping the gun eh. |

All pools that have not updated the client must do it now!
if you are waiting for a response from Devs read tweets and posts.
update clients !!
some pools even have links to old wallets which needs fixing to point to updated ones.(you know who you are)
if you run a pool for any coin you need to have current links to latest wallets etc.
it's not a set and forget thing ya know, and to me sounds like a pool management issue.
and if you don't keep the clients updated when dev's have been posting and tweeting about it the last 3 weeks then is it the dev's fault,
I don't think so.

Dev didn't notify pools of fork.
Many pools are forked.
Which chain is the correct chain? Please let us know becaues there are like 3-4 forks and chains of 42 coin right now.

Which pool would be the best to mine 42 now?
I've been avoiding coinpool.de - the admin has been ignoring all my messages and emails. I send him mail to, also ignored May be worth a scam accusation? But it seems that he's just lazy and doesn't care. Perhaps this is the same thing when people's coin is involved. maybe, was that the pool that minimum autopayout for 42 was 1 coin? Yes it is the minimum at 1, you have todo manual payouts, i do not think it a scam but lazy or not caring maybe the case who knows. |

I'm willing to implement KGW for 42 if Hendo and Maco is approves it of. I like my idea better. Move to pure PoS. It has several advantages: 1. No reliance on mining hashes so absolutely no pool jumping vulnerability. 2. Present coins jump in value because they earn interest for stakeholders. 3. Can still target total money supply to 42 coins. 4. Can still award transaction fees to miners. 5. Energy efficient. Saves the planet. 6. I'm already working on it! Sounds interesting keep us updated. |

The main reason I asked for the TXid was so we could account for any past/future transactions made by Hendo or maco.
I hope that others who have recieved rewards and bounties will step forward aswell.
You don't need anyone to come forward. You can get everything you need to know from the blockchain! Just start with the premine block (not the genesis block 0) and you can track all inputs and outputs of the transactions. You just need some coding skills to do it. Bitcoin-type ledgers are public and all inputs and outputs are perfectly transparent. Just follow the money. Unless M & H sent coins to a mixer, you can simply navigate the blockchain if you want to learn about the premine. I could code this, but I have just about 0 interest in the matter. Beyond that, I'm pretty confident that they are using the premine towards the best interests of the coin. Yes we do, because this may help reveal wallets that we are unaware of or coins that shouldn't exist. Ever since my Cryptsy 42 deposit tripled itself, I can't help but wonder about all the possibilities and implications of such events.
