Yea, I don't know a whole lot about Vanillacoin, but I'm pretty sure it's just taking a Bitcoin 0 conf transaction and using a locking mechanism (which may or may not have security issues) to just visually credit your account faster. The transactions all still have to be put in a block if you're using a blockchain system...you didn't just gain infinite TPS from nothing. All PoS systems that don't die will eventually switch to deterministic block validation anyway, thus making that 0 time thing irrelevant.
Vanillacoin does use a locking mechanism but it's not just visual. It's designed such that your coins are re-spendable as well. With regard to the mention of a potential security issue, there was a beta phase with a 2k vnl bounty (or somewhere around that amount) for anybody that was able to successfully exploit the network, which was not claimed. So while I wouldn't go so far as to say it's not possible, it hasn't happened yet.

burst.ninja is vastly superior to any and all existing pools (that I have used) on all levels.
Nice new domain. Much faster/leaner js ui. Cleaner layout. Faster communication
Much love to burstcoin, Catbref, Crowetic holding it down and making one of the most innovative cryptos easier to use, mine and adopt by the masses.

Fred is imaginary, but this situation is not hypothetical, this is fact based on real numbers. The chart below is based on actual BTC/USD values taken from the Winkdex and actual BTC/MMXIV daily highs from Bittrex:
Fred is my homey. We got plans this weekend for a pickup game at the ymca. Imagine that.

I only have 2.81 coins... I will hold off 'til the next raffle!! LOL No problem at all, keep staking! Some people in IRC are just getting antsy for me to pick a winner Mining and staking. It's a slow process. I only just discovered this coin about 2 weeks ago or so. Me too, yesterday I got my first stake with 0.5 coins. Feels good, right? Sure, i'd like to know how often get a stake. I have not done anything with my coins, just left them in my wallet. Depends on several factors, namely, the number of transfers to your wallet, the size of each of those transfers, and the number, size, and age of the coins being staked from the rest of the network. It'll start out slow but it's aggregate, ie, the more you stake, the more weight you have with the network and the more times you'll stake. less than a week after my first deposit i ended up getting four rewards in one day totaling over 8.25% of my total, which makes up for a slow start. How much was your total coins in the beginning? Your Wallet is/was open 24/7? Over 20 total, over 3 transfers to my wallet Yeah, I've had it open since my original deposit. By the looks of it, I close to averaging/catching up to 5% daily

I decided to start shaking Mangocoinz when I was on the sh#ter I made about 0.3 then decided to hook up the wifi and sync it up, I lost all that 0.3 for some reason after sync and was mining on the latest wallet 5.0b...
This has happened to me too. Though, i've never had the misfortune of screwing up from shaking it while on the toilet. I was shaking it on my bed and prematurely lost my payload while trying to sync.

I just ran this wallet on all my home computers, work computers, friends' computers, owned boxes and internal nsa clients... what do you suggest i do?
Are you kidding? thanks Shadow_Runner, you are a good policecode
NP. i figured the nsa clients comment made it glaringly obvious. On an unrelated/related note, IN GENERAL, when people release wallets that include code classified as, err, well, mischievous, how often do they actually release the wallet with all source included as part of the initial distribution? Do they figure that since approximately 1011 coins are released every 101.11 seconds they are afforded the luxury of laziness because the crypto community uses more protection when thinking about cheating on their non-existent wives with their non-existent girlfriends while in their very real mother's basement than they do when installing wallets on their personal computers?

It's really sad what happened to this coin. Greed is powerful over weak minds. Karma will come around.
Gee thanks. What we really need is you telling everybody they'll get karma and idiots in this thread are going to expect free karma coin.

So, I don't know, my understanding of how the internet works is quite limited. Is this spam or porn? It looks like spam but then it says it wants you to love it, which is making me think porn.

yeah, it's in the whitepaper in op which is why I didn't link or reference it. I figure I could always use it to fud and cause a stir but seeing that this was an ipo and all, we might at least want to wait until leaving the gate before trying to panic this plane down. If we gonna go the panic route, lets wait until we're off the ground so we get the experience of the crazy emotional free-fall before the crash and burn while we take this btch down.
