1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin [LTC] X11 hardfork at block 564,480 on: March 30, 2014, 11:46:30 AM
Well, this is interesting news, if it can be done. I do think that the time is right, while scrypt asic is not yet widely spread.
Best of luck.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 13, 2014, 10:30:47 PM
i think it will rise after the halving

I do hope so, but I must admit that I'm severely troubled and dissapointed, atm (looking at btc, ltc, doge picture in larger perspective). With all recent events that we've witnessed in the past week:

- Mt.Gox withdrawal problem
- bitcoin flaw/bug (whatever)
- Huge drop in btc & ltc
- SR2.0 hack or what the hell happened (maybe that cause BTC to drop to 102USD))
- Unregulated market (as far as I know, every market strictly forbids "pump & dump")
- fact that very few people actually own a majority of coins

I do need some encouragement, so please share your thoughts... I do think that we all more people (=fresh cash) in doge (tipping, buying/selling stuff with doge), in order to boost it.

Stop right there. The "hack" happened after the drop to 102 , and that was a mistake done by a trader , not a serious drop.

Mistake done by a trader? I've missed that one. Are you sure? But why is everything still falling down???

So, how many more days (estimated) before the rewards half?

Currently testing P2Pools. If they are indeed as good as people say, why do so many people choose pools?
Not good for me. I didn't get even 1/5 what I was supposed to get. Scam pool? I was mining at 31.135.191.243:22550. Maybe I should try other one.

What's your hashrate and how long did you mine for, and how many coins did you get ?
1450kh/s between two r9 280x. I mined 12 hours and I got less than 1000 doges with 7 transactions to my wallet.

My rigs have been mining on different pools for the past few weeks. Rigs are identical and each of them is 3300khash/s. I've been monitoring pools on a daily basis and fast-pool and dogehouse came on top of the list, so I switched all rigs to those two pools. Last 3-4 days dogehouse is giving me around 23K/24h, while fast-pool never manage to go above 16K/24h. I saw a message about some "payout fix", but decided to move them away to dogehouse. Never tried any of the p2p pools.

Good info, would you list all the pools you tried and the payouts? It would be nice to see a comparison to p2pools if possible. I have to choose a new one as soon as the new cards arrive.

Ouch, cannot help you with that (I didn't take notes). Just checked the payouts in regular intervals, and after several days, discarded the lowest ones. I do however remember that nut2pool was also doing good at the time (was better than other pools). But the hashrate of fast-pool and dogehouse is probably the biggest. That is why I think that dogehouse (which is a PPLNS, btw), is able to pull most of it. Last several days is constantly around 23K @ 3300Khash/s.
