1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does holding long term can be worthy despite of unpredictable market? on: August 23, 2018, 12:21:02 AM
For me, holding BTC or ETH long term makes perfect sense despite any unpredictable market. Other coins may vary so you should check individually.

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Do You Secure Your profits? on: August 23, 2018, 12:07:39 AM
What are all your methods? you use to secure profits from your crypto? when markets are green and you take profits with you before the market goes down
I can ensure that I can earn money from my investment because I have a lot of knowledge that I can use in order to make money. It is really hard to acquire knowledge because there only few websites that are giving reliable information.
the most effective way that I use is, turning it into fiat by exchanging it on a trusted exchange, and saving my assets in the bank. well, that is the way I save, and secure the benefits that I have for now.

I do believe turning crypto into fiat is one of the best ways to secure your profit.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Addiction? on: August 23, 2018, 12:01:33 AM
I know what you mean, but I wouldn't call it Addiction. It sounds more like gambling to me Wink
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: August 22, 2018, 11:54:23 PM
I think price includes a lot of factors and many of those factors are beyond the control of a particular group of people. Thus, although price could be (and sometimes is) manipulated, but not 100% manipulated.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: August 22, 2018, 11:47:40 PM
Wallets, of course! And I mean cold / hardware wallets, they're the best.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pump and dump tactic on: August 22, 2018, 11:26:54 PM
pumping and dumping tactics is actually a complex process. from my experience, i do notice when whale enter market becuase you will see a huge and constant buy order however it is always difficult when whales are taking back their investment because there are some factors that may not let you know this. firstly when you follow whale and you invest immediately you are getting 10% interest, you will become uncertisfy and you will not wannat sell your order. secondly whales take profit in fraction so you may not notice it.
Pump and dump is the way whales use to control the market. Many people who are new to this market are driven by pump / dump channels and lose a lot of money. Remember that nothing is easy and pump / dump is not a viable way in this market.
I have been in pump dump groups and i know what they do. They will suggest you to buy a coin and they already have bought it and put sell orders. When you will buy, you will actually buy their orders making them more rich.

Very revealing. What makes this information even more precious is that it comes from an insider Wink
Thanks for sharing! I know what pump and dump basically is, but I didn't know the mechanism.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: August 22, 2018, 11:19:57 PM
You're right, people choose to invest in cryptocurrency because it's volatile and you can make more money as compared to other kinds of investment. I'm not an exception. I believe investing in crypto might be pretty profitable if you know what you're doing. Besides, I love the idea of the underlying technology cryptocurrencies are based on, i.e. blockchain, and I want to support it by participation  Cool
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy ETH or not? on: August 22, 2018, 11:06:17 PM
I believe Ethereum is and will probably remain one of the best coins to invest into, but it should be your decision. I mean, do the research, study pros and cons, if you like, but do not rely heavily on what other people will say.  Cool
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where should I keep my bitcoins? on: August 22, 2018, 01:08:39 PM
A cold wallet (Ledger Nano S or Trezor) is the safest option to keep your Bitcoins.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEST WALLET?? on: August 22, 2018, 01:00:59 PM
Hardware wallet is best option. https://www.ledgerwallet.com/products/ledger-nano-s and https://trezor.io
Both can store major coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC-20 token, Ripple...You can see the support lists on their sites.

Couldn't agree more: Trezor and Ledger are probably the best we have. Which one to pick depends on your preferences Wink
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To HODL or not, this is the question on: August 22, 2018, 12:50:23 PM
I think that for HODL or not, depending on your understanding of the cryptocurrency, if you only rely on the recommendation of a friend to buy a coin, then HODL is meaningless to you!

Probably, konomi is right: if you ask a question like that, it might mean you should probably sell...
Think about it...
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to detect when your laptop is used for mining bitcoins! on: August 22, 2018, 01:39:46 AM
I don't know if it can prevent or remove the problem in question, but it can warn you or stop you from visiting a potentially dangerous website, thus protecting you from a potential threat.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: August 09, 2018, 10:33:06 PM
Governments don't need taxes to run. What they need is support, and some of it in the form of money. Where can they get money? Just like all the rest of us: Advertise a benefit; offer the benefit for sale; sell the benefit.

If government did it this way, we could vote for the government that we wanted, simply by how much of their products and services we purchased... and all of it with no taxes.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin become centralized sometime in the future? on: August 08, 2018, 08:23:47 PM
I don't think so. It's against the initial idea.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 07, 2018, 03:33:12 AM
The cryptocurrency market situation is just as any other market situation, we have ups and downs and they show us that the market is alive Wink
