1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Bithumb safe especially for foreigners? on: November 26, 2018, 04:28:06 AM
they did have issues in the past and dealt with them in a very sincere manner so as far reliability goes i'd give them a good score but their english translations are wacky
2  Economy / Exchanges / Which Crypto Exchange do you use, and why? on: October 25, 2018, 04:20:49 AM
I personally started out with Poloniex on friend's recommendation. Decent exchange albeit a little slow on customer support.

What do you guys use and why?
3  Economy / Exchanges / A question about Bithumb's new promotion on: October 19, 2018, 07:34:02 AM
Thinking about trying them out. $20k worth of transaction = 20k bithumb cash, I assume its in korean won right?

Koreans sure know how to please their customers.
5  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitcoin Wallet on: June 29, 2018, 06:23:26 AM
Can you suggest me what bitcoin wallet is the safest? and why?

Currently using Trezor. It is a great wallet. Security for hard wallets will be the best out there outside of paper.
6  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Cold Wallet S or FuzeW? on: June 29, 2018, 06:11:40 AM
Well let’s compare the specs.

Price: Cool Wallet S- $189     FuzeW - $149  (If you reserve a copy you get it for $74.50)

I think the prices for these cards are a bit high compared to the USB wallets, though Trezor is around 149 EURO. That being said at $74.50 , that’s a really hard price to beat IMO.

Design: Coolwallet S – It is a bit thinner than the FuzeW judging from the pics alone. I don’t see any videos of the FuzeW but the images make it look slightly thicker and more durable than the CW S. The CW S is viewable in ‘portrait’ view while the FuzeW appears to be usable via ‘landscape’ view. It says FuzeW has an IP68 waterproof rating on the site which is nice. I wonder how it is compared to the CW S waterproof.

Battery: CW S has a 15 mAh and the FuzeW has a 13 mAh. I don't know how many minutes/hours the 2mAh translates too with current info.

Support: CW S currently supports BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, BCH  and ERC20. The fuzeW seems to only support BTC and ETH and FXT (which I believe is their altcoin). They say they will offer future support for QTUM and XRP.

Security: Both are CC EAL5+ and have OTP function.

Honestly its hard to tell anything about the FuzeW at this moment aside from whats on their site. The card was made by BrilliantTS which also made the FuzeX so the credibility seems there. The price offering is cheaper and with the ongoing promotion I think it’s a huge deal. The design also looks to be premium with the added water resistance. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is Ledger Nano S really better than a free paper wallet? on: June 29, 2018, 06:04:54 AM
i believe hardware wallet is the best .. i am using nano S .. it's better & safe than free paper wallet ..  if you lose the Ledger device you never lose your coins .. there are recovery options for the hardware wallets ... you can find more info on their web site..

Nano S is probably the most popular hardwallet out there. But I dont think it's the best.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Is hardware wallet can be hacked? on: June 29, 2018, 05:52:43 AM
I think the biggest vulnerablilty for hard wallets was the connectivity requirements to smartphones. I think the one-time password is a great way to support security for that.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: June 29, 2018, 05:41:50 AM
very easy. the proof of the existence of this universe shows that the omnipotent God exists. it is impossible that everything can move without anyone running .

Couldn't the same be said for all of us being in a simulation?
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should video games be considered a sport? on: June 29, 2018, 01:32:29 AM
Def sport.

1) There are teams or 1vs1
2) There are coaches involved
3) leagues/tournaments/champions
4) Money
5) sponsors

The only thing that is missing you can say is the physical aspect. But then again playing 8-10 hours a day to hone your skills is physically AND mentally demanding.

Smoke a joint and relax.  All those feelings of anger and frustration will just go away. Nothing except what to eat will be on your mind. Cheesy

Weed solves all problems  Grin

Honeslty, that seems more of something that treats the symptoms of tempermental issues  rather a solution.

Depends on the issue causing tempers to rise.  If it's something small, like say girlfriend/boyfriend is hassling you are about something trivial, a joint is perfect way to help ease the tension.  I'm not advocating to use it to solve major life problems, but it will help calm down and think about a solution in reasonable sense of mind rather than one of anger.

I see your point and agree to some extent.

I find the site easy to navigate  but the bot script for the chat function is really annoying personally.

14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amount to start trading? on: June 26, 2018, 02:18:27 AM
There is no such minimum. If you are investing any amount is fine. I think if you wanna trade, you’ll need more than a $1000 to make some good profits

There is no minimum but time is a huge factor. If you're making $50+ and hour and spend your free time trading pennies, not worth it.

private cam shows were like 300+ for a few min. I wonder what they would do for 1 btc? Grin
