1  Local / Бayнти и aиpдpoпы / Re: [Bounty] LegendaryBet - oплaтa в 💎 Etherium зa oбщeниe в чaтe Teлeгpaм on: September 18, 2018, 06:18:17 PM
Пeчaльныe кoнeчнo вoзнaгpaждeния зa вpeмя пoтpaчeннoe пoльзoвaтeлями.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best and Worst Case Scenario for Bitcoin on: August 24, 2018, 04:30:18 AM
It is unlikely, but Bitcoin could render government currency irrelevant and obsolete. That would be bad for the market for official currency, but it would not happen unless it were good for everyone and everything else.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchains will create a better world on: August 15, 2018, 07:31:30 AM
It is a revolutionary technology which promises to transform in a fundamental level the underlying infrastructure of many industries. Companies whose business model relies on solving complex logistical problems are at the most risk of being displaced by this technology. For instance, the role of banking as a money transmission system can now be easily replaced by a single blockchain-based protocol (e.g. Bitcoin). This is a large swath of use cases which have these characteristics.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: August 09, 2018, 01:22:14 PM
Ponzi schemes are designed to collapse at the expense of the last investors when there is not enough new participants. Bitcoin is a free software project with no central authority. Consequently, no one is in a position to make fraudulent representations about investment returns.
Like other major currencies such as gold, United States dollar, euro, yen, etc. there is no guaranteed purchasing power and the exchange rate floats freely. This leads to volatility where owners of bitcoins can unpredictably make or lose money. Beyond speculation, Bitcoin is also a payment system with useful and competitive attributes that are being used by thousands of users and businesses.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is keeping your money on Coinbase really that bad? on: August 09, 2018, 12:07:44 PM
There's always a risk that an exchange could make off with your coins, could be hacked, or could shut down due to poor management, making it possible that you'll never be able to get to your cryptocurrencies again. So that Coinbase is not absolutely safe as any other exchanges to leave your cryptocurrencies.
People with cryptocurrency should use 2 step verification to better protect their private keys. Regarding server security, we can only rely on risk controls for exchanges.
For maximum security you should leave your cryptocurrencies in a wallet in cold storage. But it requires you have technical background which is not an option for everyone.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of CryptoCurrencies on: August 04, 2018, 11:59:30 AM
 Thanks for A2A.
Some token that people call it cryptocurrency is actually more accurate if we understand it as a share of a company that innovate within the space of Blockchain, for example Ethereum, NEO, EOS is more than just a currency.
I believe that cryptocurrency and blockchain comapny are still in an early stage in terms of adoption and development, but one thing I can be sure is cryptocurrency is going to be our future, probably not all the coins we’ve seen now (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, …) but it surely going to be cryptocurrency.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Worst Case Scenario for Bitcoin? on: August 04, 2018, 10:38:49 AM
When will you guys get the message? Banks don't want anything to do with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Have you noticed that almost all of them are blocking crypto transactions via credit card? That's not adoption - it's the exact opposite of adoption.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: August 03, 2018, 11:13:03 AM
Honestly, I’d rather not Know. I don’t care. Satoshi being anonymous is perfectly poetic for a decentralised ecosystem. You don’t want people to praise a face or faces as that is centralised.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the benefits of managing bitcoin on: July 31, 2018, 11:50:59 AM
Bitcoin evolves. Let us talk about a perfected, evolved Bitcoin.
The benefits of this currency will be that it is an international standard. Whether or not your government is doing well or poorly, it’s value will not be subject to inflation. You won’t have to pay special fees to spend it in one country or another. You cannot ‘bounce a check’, or ‘float a check’ its float is negligible no matter how large an amount is. You don’t need to trust banks to hold it for you, you can hold it yourself. You can transact anonymously. No ID required. You can track all of your spending electronically.
10  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: July 30, 2018, 01:07:33 PM
Maybe. Because each bitcoin transaction requires a tremendous amount of computing power, each Bitcoin transfer uses enough energy to run a comfortable house, and everything in it, for nearly a week. Bitcoin miners worldwide are using about enough electricity to at any given time to power about 2.26 million American homes. Since a good deal of this is coming from burning coal and other fossil fuels, that is a lot of CO2 being put into he air.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's volatility is a non-issue on: July 30, 2018, 12:19:47 PM
I believe that trading costs are a significant driver of volatility due their constraining effect on liquidity. Due to the model of most exchanges requiring up to a .25% commission on trades, it is simply too expensive to trade bitcoins frequently. This constrains liquidity because most bitcoiners buy and hold on for dear life. This makes the price sensitive to short term surges in demand because holders are reluctant to part with their bitcoins unless there is a sufficiently large profit to be made. Similarly most experienced bitcoiners only go in to buy when there’s been a sizable dip for similar reasons.
Exchanges need to change up their models to a simple bid-ask spread to attract some market makers and liquidity providers. Despite being a technological innovation, bitcoin’s trading ecosystem is remarkably primitive.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: July 22, 2018, 12:40:10 PM
The answer is no. Bitcoin is a real cryptocurrency that proves blockchain works. People are using it to buy real things. The IRS wants to collect real taxes on the profits people are making.
The huge price increase makes people wonder if it is speculative bubble, but a bubble is not a scam.
Cryptocurrencies may be hard to understand, but that does not make them a scam.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you sell all your coins in Bull market? on: July 22, 2018, 11:51:10 AM
’ve been big on neo since I got into crypto back last year. It’s a great project with an amazing team and has made me quite a bit of cash in the past few mths. Neo has always been a large portion of my portfolio, but today I decided to make it all my portfolio.

Why? Because neo is a solid project with bucket loads of potential. It’s amazingly undervalued, has lots of up and coming icos and even in this bear market, it still pays you a dividend for holding it. I can sit back and let all the market swings pass me by knowing that when the recovery comes, neo will be one of the first cryptos to recover. All this while collecting my free gas. The bulls will return, as they’ll be wearing green 😃.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What factors make Bitcoin rise again? on: July 22, 2018, 11:16:00 AM
The problem with an asset like Bitcoin, decentralized, uncontrolled, completely anarchic, is that it’s so new that nobody is sure what could happen. Or better, nobody who can’t understand economics dynamics (without being stuck to old school trash) and programming.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin down, altcoin rise. why? on: July 22, 2018, 10:45:46 AM
It doesn't always. But, in the case of when a bitcoin hardfork occurs, like what just happened, the pattern has been that people start selling their altcoins in advance in order to buy bitcoin to get the forked coins. Once the fork occurs, people sell bitcoin and return the money to altcoins.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin create a hole in the cycle of economy? on: July 21, 2018, 11:18:45 AM
I'm an enthusiastic bitcoiner as well, but I don't consider anybody with a different opinion to be economically illiterate.
Otherwise you're right on point. Bitcoiner should start developing their own knowledge instead of relying on other people to explain economics to them.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future blockchain on: July 21, 2018, 09:16:12 AM
 Yes, It has a future.
Blockchains will help develop a more trusted environment. Your actions and reactions will be recorded in the system. Blockchain will help reduce the corruption as position holders will now be liable for their decisions and approvals. If a office approves a subgrade material, it will be recorded in the system. If a person updates incorrect information, it will be recorded.
Public and decentralised blockchains cannot be easily altered. This automated and permanent database would make people think about conning the system.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacking Bitcoin,How Possible? on: July 21, 2018, 09:00:06 AM
Any hack would probably involve generating fake transactions, but since they are fake, they wouldn’t generate a solvable hash, so miners would spot them immediately, and plenty of people have tried and failed.

You can hack into a bank, but you can’t hack a blockchain.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: July 21, 2018, 08:28:21 AM
Any digital wallet can be hacked if the private key is exposed.

A private key is exposed only via user error (saving your private key in your email or desktop for example and having somebody find it).
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again, Bitcoin described as a Bubble. on: July 21, 2018, 07:14:44 AM
It’s hard because a large number of people own and use BTC. What could happen would be for those that own very large amounts to agree to sell it altogether, in which case it’s price would drop proportionally. But then some would see it as a chance to buy cheaply again.

Only if another coin becomes as widely used (used, not just owned) as BTC will it drop more permanently. At the moment most coin ATMS are for bitcoins only. If that changes and if new ways of exchange come to exist, another coin could take it’s place.
