I've got my coins, Mac Red well done for the awesome work, i intend on keeping my coins for time being, i think its sad for freeloaders to jump on and jump off.

I logged into my NXT account but It says I have no assets so where did we get the ORA asset? Anyone can help me here?  You don't have any assets in your bookmark list yet. Click on "Add Asset" in the top right corner to add one. Did you wait for the blockchain to fully download? I just now synced the wallet I can see now 249k ORA that's so cool.. as an asset.. THANK YOU ORA..so we all got quarter of a million ORAS? This is a lovely gift..and I highly appreciate it..I am not very adept with the nxt wallet but am learning lol  I will do another nice blog post again soon when I can..Please guys don't dump so cheap.. It's just a shame though that it's usually the community that never does anything to help the coin and just collect freebies that are the ones to dump all their coins which is sad.. I think in the future anyone want freebies they should all do something to help the coins grow like some social media tasks just a thought. How is that possible? I thought everybody got 166.xxx coins? So to clear things up: qiwoman2, your stake was 166666 Ora. Earlier today I sent you 83333 extra (1/2 of a stake in worth) from my personal wallet for the blog promotion you did earlier. thanks for the clarification, that had me really confused. |

one thing that worries me is for someone to come along and create a coin and then closes down and goes home. there are too many coins coming out these days, its crazy. I am sure someone will come along one day and want to make a quick buck by running a scam.
Why don't you all just "beat the scammers" instead of worrying about a scam. If everyone tries to make ALL the coins work, the scammer can cash out, then everyone can use those coins to build a continuing market. i suppose, but you have to worry about exchanges and stuff like that closing, i mean you are dealing with real life money, its not something you will want to mess with. i think its already happened a couple of times in the past. are you not worried if money goes missing? |

i have never mined a coin either and have found the whole concept interesting.
lol in regards to your mom, i think you are right. Until someone big like google or amazon, etc jumps on making one of the coins as a alternative payment system i am afraid it don't look like it is going to become easily accessible to the general public. I would assume the big companies will be able to make this more user friendly.
I have tried, and even had people explain me through the whole process and I can never get my computer to do it just right, or I am somehow just computer incompetent and am doing something wrong even when I get it explained to me via the phone. Yeah, I am hoping that Google or somebody makes a coin soon. I honestly have no idea why they have not done it yet, it blows my mind that the Internet Search company that probably has people using their search engine more than ANYTHING ELSE to learn about Bitcoin, and they themselves (who are paid developers) have not decided to do anything yet. iof you have access to CBT nuggets there is a good explanation of how the whole system works. i am guessing there are other youtube videos that show how the whole process works, but again i dont think it is easily accessible for the average person. Because of this the idea of E-currency will struggle to take off the ground. check out youtube i am sure you will find good simple videos. |

i think being able to pay with visa or paypal etc is important, sending moeny via international payments can be time consuming. I had to pay money into my bank then do an international transfer which costs a certain amount each time then you have to transfer from gateways if you wish you to convert to other coins, etc all this takes a lot of time.  |

most people will not do it because you can't chargeback bitcoins but you can chargeback visa/paypal
therefore it's easy to get scammed if you would sell bitcoin for visa/paypal
what is the meaning of chargebacks? |
