Lol, no one is forcing you to mine this coin, let alone sell it at a price you don't want.
If someone wants to sell at 1400 MED = .035, so what.

I'm not sure I understand your complaint here.
Sell/don't sell. No one cares what you do with your own MED. Let others do what they want with their MED.
