I asked him to take it down. He was using NOMP, the same stratum we use, which is why we do not have Groestl. It's not supported on that. DedicatedPool will be adding us shortly.

http://giv.yi.org/scrypt is running a promotion this week. When the pool hashrate reaches 100mhs, all those mining for 24h will receive double the payouts for that period. Huge win!

Also, you will receive a referral bonus on top of that for each friend you refer to the pool. PM us here or on IRC to get credit.

Something up with groestl today?  I can solo scrypt and qubit but tried switching to groestl and wasn't getting any WU.  It worked fine yesterday.  Ideas?

<<<<  Forget it.  I restarted the wallet and sgminer and all is well again.  Weird, but working.

What Kernal do you use to mine groestl?   I set it to groestlcoin but I wasn't entirely sure it was working as I've not yet experienced Groestl mining, nor solo mining  but I like how it runs on my old gaming card, nice and cool with good hash!!
Didn't really leave it on long tho, had to go out then sleep so I went back to scrypt!!!

Playin with Solo mining a little for experience before difficulty gets higher!!

Edit:  It seems like its working, but I get "No suitable long-poll found"   So that doesn't sound good to me!

Edit 2:  Here's my little batch file that I have so far, maybe you can tell me if it looks ok:
"setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe -k groestlcoin -o localhost:8911 -u schmotto.1 -p Waffle -I 16 -g 1 -w 256 --scan-time 1"

It's hashing well and I get these 2 messages only in the sgminer cmd window
"New block detected on network
Network diff set too X"

I use myriadcoin-groestl as the kernel for the miner and groestl for the wallet when soloing this coin.

We have changed our pools to NoMP-based rather than MPOS. What this means is improved site performance, no registration required, and overall more easier for the pool operator and the miner. Enjoy Smiley
