1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: August 27, 2015, 01:39:55 AM

You would never hand the collateral to investors. Collateral is meant to be sold and the funds distributed by the investors.

If collateral is not enough to repay the total, something is better than nothing.

The other hundreds investors get nothing? Just a reward for the whales?

Huh Where did you read that?

Collateral is sold and distributed. That's what is written.

How exactly is this a reward for the whales and hundreds of investors with nothing?

ZOMFG! If I sell note, there is just price in the transactions and I don't know what I sold, to whom, what I paid for that... Guys, are you serious? But, well, at least we have autoinvesting and another must have features!

Yup!   I felt the same way when I sold a note.

We are overhauling that to make it better. I know that is a pain for some people Smiley. It's been noted. Thanks for sharing this!

You have a lot of work to do in that note marketplace.

Some suggestions:

1- Reduce the 4% fee. Why do you ven collect a fee on notes? It's not like you are having a lot of work doing this. In fact you have no work and no risk so it makes no sense to collect fees here.

2- When you put a note for sale it should show interest that you'll receive for that investment (yield, APR...) and interest that buyer can collect (right now you put the note for sale and have to navigate to find your note and check interest for buyer)

3- A separate page for your notes with the information on point 2 so you can easily adjust what you want

4- Have an option to automatically create notes with a predefined interest when the loan is activated

These are just some ideas for features that I lack related to the marketplace.

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Most reliable mixer? on: August 22, 2015, 12:33:55 AM
How effective is Blockchain.info's Shared Coin service as a mixer? It seems to me that multiple rounds of coin join is not really mixing since a chain of transactions still exists. Has anyone done any research?

A link will always be there.

Exchange to ltc or monero, transfer to another exchanger and then exchange to btc again.  Better than bitmixer or any mixer.

Are you there?

As you can see there is interest in this.
5  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards! [Updated] on: August 21, 2015, 10:13:49 PM

Is advcash the only one offering virtual cards?

Currently, I think so yes. Bit-X announced that they would release PrePaid and Virtual cards soon.

I hope so. These are more useful to me than the plastic cards.

9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinVanitygen.com - Big Scammer on: August 20, 2015, 10:38:26 PM
i dont get this story
some forum, some IP, some vanity adress. and no proofs on blockchain

Why would so many people suddenly start shouting scam?

Besides blockchain only proves that transactions were made not who ordered them or the owners of the wallets.

For any australians... pretty sure you can get these from the post office.... not the travel cards but the visa cards.. very small max limits so the gov is not to concerned about people using them to launder money lol..

if any aus people want one and can't find I'll take a pic.

Its worth like $6

What are the limits?

Can you show the cards or point us to the website?

Can you send outside Australia?
11  Economy / Goods / Re: Prepaid MasterCard Red Reloadable With own Bic/Iban on: July 27, 2015, 08:57:13 PM

please tell a little bit more about these cards. how can they be reloadet? different currencies? ATM withdrawls possible?

I think op is selling regular prepaid cards you can buy from gas stations and 7-eleven etc... all over US and maybe Canada too.

If that is the case the cards can't be reloaded.

Please clarify...

15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any exchange offering a unique IBAN for account? on: June 03, 2015, 08:01:34 PM
Bank accounts don't work like bitcoin addresses, you cannot generate a new one for each transaction. Smiley

Actually you could. Why shouldn't it be possible?

But from what I understood he doesn't want an IBAN per transaction. He just wants an IBAN per account instead of a general bank account for all the clients of the exchange.
