1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: August 10, 2018, 05:22:43 PM
Well, I think to an extent, it is for people who have mastered the trade. We have seen before now experts in the market make certain predictions that came to pass. It might not exactly a hundred percent accurate most times, but there are sometimes an iota of fact in them. So, yes, the market is predictable, but only by a few.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your crypto informations securely? on: August 08, 2018, 09:13:15 AM
Sometimes, the information might be overwhelming, from passwords, to private keys, to emails, and other addresses. It might really be tasky, having to remember where these are. This is why I have them saved in a file on my phone and laptop. Here, it is safe and easily accessible. I welcome to recieving better ideas though.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I need some Altcoin to hold longterm :D on: August 08, 2018, 08:32:54 AM
While there are a lot of scam and/or shitty coins in the market, there are still quite a number of good ones that would make good investments, and you could hodl for a long term. You might just have to do your own research and find the one that best suits you or just go for any of the top listed altcoins like ETH, LTC, XRP, and TRX.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why everything is down! on: August 06, 2018, 04:21:37 PM
Many speculations has been made that everything is down as a result of the underground work of whales, who have a big impact in the market. These people own huge amounts of bitcoins and sometimes sell, to cause a dip in the market, so they can buy more at cheaper rates, and then make much more profits when the prices are back up.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: August 05, 2018, 09:25:06 PM
Do people actually read these things? Truth is, I rarely do, and even when I decide to finally do, it gets boring and I abandon it, cos they are usually too long and mostly uninteresting. Maybe because most of the times, The first few paragraphs have already given an insight about what the project is about and I find it unworthy going further to finish reading it.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty in cryptocurrency on: August 04, 2018, 10:43:41 AM
The importance of bounty in cryptocurrency world is actually a two way thing, and cannot be overly emphasized on. It is used to promote new ICOs or even already existing ones, and it has worked and really served this purpose. In addition to that, it is a good way for bounty hunters to earn without having to invest, or earn more.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The recent price is rising, can I continue to buy cryptocurrency, why? on: August 04, 2018, 10:14:10 AM
I think you should continue to buy cryptocurrencies. We all knew that this phase of the market would come, and that's why a vast majority of us have been screaming buy more and hodl. However, it is still not a bad time to invest. The prices are going to do better and you should buy now that they are still fair.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to minimize the risk of being scammed. on: August 03, 2018, 10:42:23 AM
Your post is really helpful and insightful, and if the majority follow most of the steps on here, it would be difficult for them to invest in an ICO that is a scam and lose their money. Anyways, about the whitepaper thing, most of these whitepapers are even more convincing than those that are legit, so people need to be really careful out there.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB - Binance coin on: August 02, 2018, 10:44:37 AM
I have been hearing about this coin for quite some time now,  maybe it's high time I jump on resources and do my own analysis on the coin. I have heard only but good news about it though. Hopefully, it is worth the hype and not just the usually blabbings on the streets about certain coins.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs gonna end someday ? on: August 01, 2018, 04:38:14 PM
I think so. Especially with the uncontrolled rise of new ICOs that we have by the day. A time will come when people will no longer invest in these ICos and most of them will run out of market. We already mostly have a repeat of most of the projects out there, meaning ideas are running out for most of the ICOs creators already.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most frustrating thing about crypto on: August 01, 2018, 04:04:22 PM
The most frustrating thing and one its major limitations is that it can be easily manipulated, and this is why we keep going back and forth with it. Until this is rectified, if it can be, Cryptocurrencies might just keep moving in and unending circle, which might not be exactly a good thing for it.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lets do ICO bounty and Earn huge on: July 31, 2018, 09:49:00 AM
This  thread is really informative and good, thank you for sharing. People have been really depressed about how they have been participating in fruitless campaigns, and this might be of great help to them. Really insightful and helping. Thanks again for sharing.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about Cryptocurrency? on: July 28, 2018, 07:45:51 PM
There are quite some reasons why I like cryptocurrencies. I would like to highlight the fact that it is a good way to gaining financial stability, and it is something I would recommend for anyone who is aiming towards that path. Also, it might be a platform to develop your ideas on technologies, and other related issues.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we continue to participate in aridrop projects? on: July 28, 2018, 07:27:26 PM
I don't think it time we stop believing in the good that is airdrops. Although I agree with the fact that participating in airdrops is not as profitable as it used to about 5 - 6 months ago, I still don't believe it is a closed chapter yet. There are still a few good ones that are profitable and you just need to be more careful with your choices.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All my tokens in MEW stolen! on: July 27, 2018, 11:54:05 AM
I have never had my account hacked or my tokens stolen, but I know how it feels to lose money and I must say that I'm deeply sorry for that. This is the reason why it is mostly preached on this streets that we should be careful of the people we share certain information with, and be careful of the sites we visit, or the ads we allow on our browser. Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: July 26, 2018, 08:48:34 PM
We need to be able as there is a thin line between wanting some good earnings and being greedy. It's okay to want to make some pretty good investments, especially if you come across a really good coin and you believe in it. But don't just go about investing in every coin you come across simply because you think it might give you some good profits. You might end up losing so much of your money.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: July 25, 2018, 03:54:42 PM
I don't see any reason why I would want to sell my coins when the prices are down. For me that would be the time to strap in and buy even more coins if I can afford it in wait for the market to do better. The best time to buy is when there is blood in the market while the best time to sell is during a bull which is what I intend to do.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what exactly are we waiting for? on: July 25, 2018, 03:19:53 PM
I think everyone is basically waiting for when the market becomes more favorable and stable. The main catalyst we need is our patience. This might not eventually increase the price, but it would make us be here and make profits when it does come. See what has happened to the price in the past few days, and think of what more will happen if we are patient. The market will be alright eventually, let's just wait for that.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way for marketing a new crypto? on: July 24, 2018, 08:52:23 AM
There are several ways and several platform you could promote an ICO. one  of these ways is by doing bounty campaigns and airdrops where you pay people who participate in it some of your tokens. You could also promote your ICO by creating ads in commonly used platforms or ads. These are pretty good ways for you to promote your new crypto. Also, getting it enlisted in exxhanges.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 on: July 22, 2018, 09:43:03 AM
It's an uncertainty to say that most of the coins below $1 will become expensive pretty soon, and most people might go as far as considering it a risky investment as the coins might not get to do so well in the market. Well, if I'm to list some coins that fall under $1 that I strongly believe in, I would list Tron, Ripple and the OrganicToken.
