1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Conservatism spreading across the globe? on: August 20, 2018, 08:15:36 PM
I don't think the Trump election, nor Brexit was anything close to right-wing extremism. Putin and Erdogan are both dictators (or at the very least, de-facto dictators), and are not elected, and as such do not reflect the will of the people.

Both the US and Europe have been ruled by very liberal leaders since the 2008 financial crisis and recession, and these liberal leaders are responsible for the subsequent weak economic recovery. I think Brexit was the 1st sign that the masses are rejecting liberalism, and it could have even been a sign of the death of liberalism.

From the looks of it, mainstream liberals are moving far to the left, including embracing radical ideas such as socialism (that has killed over 100 million people), and open borders (which basically removes any sense of sovereignty, or any possible rule of law). I would predict that liberalism will be pushed farther to the fringes of society.
I think that's a very important point about Turkey and Russia. I think for a quite some time the governments in both those countries have been doing whatever they want. They give absolutely no heed to what the people what. I read that Putin's rating recently dropped by about 20%! There are loads of people who aren't in agreement with what's happening there. I'm sure it's the same in Turkey.

What do you mean by socialism killing 100 million people?

They just so happen to have the same formatted names as you, registered all within days, post exactly the same way you do, in exactly the same threads you do? C'mon, I'm not an idiot. Lucky for you admins will probably never look into this, otherwise we'd likely be seeing another "why was my entire office's accounts blocked? thread. Your posts aren't utter shit like most farmers though so I'll give you that at least.
Feel free to believe what you'd like. Thanks for the semi-compliment about my posts, I guess.

Just because accounts will get sold elsewhere doesn't mean we have to allow it here. People will sell malware and weapons elsewhere, but we don't allow it here and if they posted such threads they'd be trashed and banned. The same could easily just happen with account sales.
Why do you think the admins have decided not to ban the sale of accounts? I agree that it's not ideal to have people selling accounts. I was just saying that if you can't stop it, then it may be better to just let it be and punish people based on their actions on the forum. Maybe you're right, maybe if it's officially forbidden, then it will deter sales. In the threads I've seen on here where somebody is selling an account, a lot of people always seem to give the sellers a very hard time.

Well you, an account farmer, would say this. How many accounts are you farming? How many of your accounts have you had banned now? Which ones of these are yours that I've noticed posting in the exact same threads as you:

Besides, you stop it the same way we don't allow users to sell weapons or post ref links here. If they list an account for sale it gets removed or they get banned. As ThePharmacist said, it's not rocket science.
I literally have no idea what you're talking about. I only recognize seeing a couple of these accounts on the forum.

We might as well get rid of all rules then. We can't do anything about ban evasion or rule breaking. Therefore, don't ban people and let them do what they want?
Well, some violations of the rules are very easy to see and enforce punishment, but some are much more difficult. I guess sometimes it's obvious when an account is sold, but sometimes it's not so apparent. Either way, for some reason admins didn't make this rules.

If we went with my suggestion of allowing people to purchase the equivalent rank in things like Silver and Gold Memberships account sales would mostly cease to happen. People only buy them for signature campaigns and half of the time the people selling them are either scammers who don't have any accounts to sell in the first place or hackers/shitposting farmers. If account sales are going to happen then let them safely buy them from the forum. It's win win. There are no negatives to this at all.
This does sound like a pretty good option. I guess it would require rethinking criteria for signature campaigns though. Then the only real measure of a person's rank would be how much money they put into it. It would definitely be good to support the site though.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Account buy - sell should be ban officially on: August 17, 2018, 05:20:13 PM
There's one thing I don't see anybody talking about here. I don't think it's very practical to ban selling accounts. How could you practically apply a ban like that? I mean, you can see if the quality of posts completely changes at one point of time and the person starts spamming. If they already have the status they want, they may not really post very much at all anymore. I think it's also a good point, that if it would be banned, it could drive prices up more, like illegal drugs. You have to keep in mind, the original account owners put in a lot of work and effort to get their rank up. If they decide they want to move on in their life, maybe their efforts should be worth something. Then if the new account owner does stupid things, they'll just lose their whole investment. They'll get what they deserve.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Offline games on: August 16, 2018, 07:59:33 PM
All the games I play these days are offline. I got a nice gaming laptop, so I started playing a few games on the PC after many years of not playing at all. I got and beat Metro 2033 and the second one. Then I got GTA 5 and beat it. It's an amazing game. It's overwhelming at first how much you can do in it. It does get old after a while though, so I've already deleted it. I've been having fun playing some Need for Speed games. The best one of all time is Most Wanted 2005. I'm playing Hot Pursuit right now though and it's pretty good. On my phone I like to play logic games. CrossMe is a great one. Unolingo and Kakuro are good too.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the difference between rich or poor? on: August 15, 2018, 08:55:44 PM
People who are poor are always looking for the problems instead of the solutions. They end up blaming their environment, circumstances, jobs, weather, government, and will make an extensive list of excuses as to why they cannot be successful.

Rich people understand that everything happens for a reason. Rather than letting life happen to them, they take direct action and make big things happen. They put aside all the excuses and eradicate their blame lists because they have to do what must be done.

Rich people see opportunities. Poor people see obstacles. Rich people see potential growth. Poor people see potential loss. Rich people focus on rewards. Poor focus on the risks.
I would say this is fairly accurate. I wouldn't say that poor people are always looking for problems. I would say that they always see problems in everything. For some reason they don't try to fix them. People that are self-made rich people see the problems, but they find solutions. If they don't like the way something is, they change it. The take control of their own life. Poor people usually think that somebody else should do something for them. They get angry that nobody is helping.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: August 14, 2018, 01:06:13 PM
Absolutely yes. To my opinion education is one of the most important things in your life and something that no one can't take from your once you get it. Thus you will become "richer" person and have better perspective in your life. Don't miss that opportunity and you will not regret your decision.
You need to be very careful with this kind of thinking. Don't equate education with "formal schooling". Education will undoubtedly improve your life. It is certainly one of the most important things there is. That doesn't mean that going to a formal education institute will always be the best option. It also doesn't always mean that you will be paid more after you study more you'll make more money. You will likely be a "poorer" person if you go to a university in the US. Most students have huge debts.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: August 13, 2018, 05:05:48 PM
Hi everyone,

What advice would you give a HS senior in US about to decide on and/or enter college ?
Going to college should not be the obvious answer. It can be a great answer, but it really depends on what you want. If you don't know what you want to do, don't go to college to try to figure it out. You'll just be wasting tens of thousands of dollars. It's much cheaper to do that other ways. You may want to look into the program Praxis. You can get into a job that doesn't require a degree and learn as you go. What are you passionate about? What do you want to do? I would say that you can be successful in most fields without a college degree, if you go about it the right way. There are some fields that absolutely require a degree, of course, but not all of them.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to live if you are a Bitcoiner? on: August 12, 2018, 01:13:00 PM
I guess Russia or Ukraine could be good options. They are very cheap to live in and they have great internet. The climate can be a bit harsh though, depending on what you're interested in. The governments are also quite unpredictable they can give you a hard time.

I really enjoyed Mexico. I think it would be a great option. I just check and Bitcoin is legal there. They even have some Bitcoin ATMs. It's a very cheap country. The people there are so kind. The food's delicious. The visa rules are really easy. Citizens of most countries can just live there for 6 months, leave the country and immediately come back for another 6 months with no limit.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: August 11, 2018, 08:00:51 PM
It's obviously not possible to control cryptocurrency flows and therefore tax them accordingly, but they can easily track every single dollar/fiat/whatever currency that's collaborating with an exchange, then see how much fiat you spent in a single currency.

When you want to cash out to buy real state or something, you will need records of all of your trades and crypto accounting, so try to keep track of that. I have lost some of my history in trading due dead exchanges and now I'm worried about that. This has happened to a lot of people and I wonder what they did about it.
That's exactly what I was thinking. There's no way to control the flows. I'm not sure if it's actually that easy for them to track every dollar you exchange. I wonder what country your in. It seems to me that governments are scrambling to get some "control" over crypto, but it's not working for anybody yet. I don't think you should really worry so much about every little transaction. Who do you plan to show that to? Your tax agency? Maybe in the future you'll be able to just buy a house with crypto. They'll never know then.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: August 10, 2018, 03:06:04 PM
Of course, governments always want more. It seems to be the main goal of politicians, to think about new places to collect taxes. If the government can take cryptocurrencies in some way, of course the will! I guess it may best fit under capital gains or income tax. I feel like it would be very hard for the government to trace though, unless you are converting it to fiat currencies in your own country. Could the government actually track and tax your cryptocurrency? You don't have your name and DOB attached to it, do you?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wife tell me that i should sell all of it. on: August 09, 2018, 12:30:28 PM
Of course, you should be careful in how you behave with your wife. Keep in mind that she is not a specialist, I'm assuming. This means that she probably has an uneducated fear that you may lose everything. This also means that you should take her advice with a grain of salt. You have to make sure that you help her keep calm though and make sure she feels heard and respected. If all your money is in crypto, that sounds like a scary stressful thing for a relationship. If it's not all there, then just think about the worst case scenario. You could lose a lot of money. It's not the end of the world. On the other hand, you could make a lot of money. That would be great. In the end, only you can decide what to do.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do ? on: August 04, 2018, 01:53:00 PM
if a beggar asks you for money, what will you do?
what if the rules in your country do not allow money to beggars and if you are still willing to give then you will get a fine.
so what would you do Huh

i'm having this, try to give me a solution .. thanks

The worst thing about giving money to beggars is that you don't know if they are telling the truth. In many places beggars are actually quite rich. They realize that they can make more money just sitting on the street than at a regular job, so they choose to do that. Some of them will even make up fake illnesses or stories. They may say that they need money to buy bus tickets home. Then you can see them in the same place asking for money for a bus ticket home the next day. They don't actually want to leave. Of course, sometimes people really need help. I usually only give money to people who are providing a service that makes the city better. I like to give money to musicians, for example. If somebody says they need money for food, I sometimes buy them food. I don't like to give them money because they may not actually spend it on food.

Unification of the Turkic world would be difficult because people in Turkic countries area seeing themselves more russian than Turk
What Turkic countries are you referring to? The only Turkic countries I can think of are Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. Why ever would you say that these people feel Russian? Turkey hardly has any Russian people. All the other countries were part of the Soviet Union, but I don't think that many Russian people are left in those countries. I think Kazakhstan has the most Russians out of all these countries and they only have 23.7% Russians. I really don't think that the majority of people in all these countries associate themselves with Russia.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you think that corruption can be deleted totally in your country? on: August 02, 2018, 01:29:41 PM
if you don't think so, can you explain how to solve that problem? at least it starts from your selves?
I like that you mentioned starting from yourself. In highly corrupt countries, the corruption runs very deep. You can see corruption on all levels. Many people complain about corruption in the government, but they don't think about how they themselves are corrupt. If it bothers you that the prime minister accepts a bribe, you shouldn't be giving bribes to police officers to get out of speeding tickets. When you do that, you are just fueling the system. The first thing should be to stop giving and receiving bribes yourself. I'm not sure that corruption can be completely erased from a country, but I think it can be completely removed from the mainstream.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any happiness in marriage? on: August 01, 2018, 03:11:29 PM
No, I don't think is more happiness than being alone . I know it's against everything that i was taught but i think i will remain so my entire life.
It's nice that you can find such peace in your decision. I don't that many people can say that they are the happiest when they are alone. But, come to think of it, I don't think that many people are really so sure about what will make them happy. People typically just do what they have been taught to do. Much respect to you for going against the grain. It can be hard to do things that the people around you may not agree with. I wish you all the happiness you could hope for!
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any happiness in marriage? on: July 31, 2018, 10:25:41 AM
There is happiness in marriage.Bible says he that find a wife will obtain favour from God.When someone get married,he would be hoping to get children which is also a blessing.when someone get married during his old age his children will take proper care of him.when someone get married,he has found a companion.
There is happiness in marriage to the extent that his wife will be cooking for him. When a someone get married he will be respected in society because he is now a full fledged man.
You have such traditional ideas. This person said that he doesn't want to have children and your answer it that getting married and having children will bring him happiness. I think that is a big mistake. One of the worse things we could have is parents with unwanted children. Parents may resent the children their whole lives. Children will feel this and by hurt by this. If a person doesn't want children, they shouldn't have children. This doesn't mean that they won't change their mind, but if you don't want children, don't have children! Of course, it is nice when somebody cooks for you, but how can you say that about women, like a wife's duty is to cook for a man?
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any happiness in marriage? on: July 30, 2018, 11:51:43 AM
Every living thing have the instinct to reproduce, but some would fight the urge, and refuse even if it's capable. We, on top of the food chain, have the choice.

Every people around my country almost have the same ideology when it comes to marriage, and why it is important to them. Every time I meet with a relative, an old friend, and few acquaintances, they all have the same reason why I need to marry and have a child. Their reason; I will be needing my child to take care of me when I grow old. It was an absurd reason for me. It's easy to have a child, but the way of his/her life will be uncertain.

I want my child to have an impact to our society, but I am not certain if it will be positive or negative. I want my child to grow, and contribute for the betterment of society, but I have no control over my child's future.

I may consider marriage, but I will not choose to have my own child for now or never.
Individual people do have the choice, but if we all stop having children, then it doesn't matter where we are on the food chain, we will go extinct. I don't think that all humans feel the instinct to reproduce, although I agree that most do. It's always funny to me to heard female acquaintances say that they'll never have children. I have seen so many cases when, just a few years later, they are talking about how they want children. One thing I've learned in my life is that it's not a very good ideas to say such absolutely things about the future. As they say, never say never. I just say, "Right now I feel this way. Maybe in the future I will feel differently, but these are my plans for now." Things change. Love and hormones are powerful things.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Black History on: July 29, 2018, 12:48:01 PM
I have noticed for a while how quick African Americans are to tell whites the difference between them and Africans and they do it with this feeling of pride.I heard some African Americans are chastised for acting "too black". Maybe I'm hollering.... But I'm sure there is tension between African Americans and Africans. My question is why is that?

Revoke their American passports.  Issue them 'African American' passports instead that will allow them to only travel to Africa.

See how fast they will become Americans.

All this identity politics must stop.

Black history my ass.  What is next, Native American history, Asian American history, German American history.  Total BS.

There is no such thing as African Americans, they are Americans, period.
The original author of this thread wasn't talking about the different between African Americans and white Americans. The question was about why African Americans are quick to distinguish themselves from Africans. I think that this is because their histories are so different. African American are usually though that are descendants of slaves, who were stolen from there home country. We can't erase that history. Africans, whose ancestors all grew up in Africa and never experienced slavery, can never truly understand the history of African Americans. They have a very horrible history that we can't just sweep under the rug.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is there any happiness in marriage? on: July 28, 2018, 05:19:40 PM
There can definitely be happiness in marriage! I love my marriage. That doesn't mean that marriage is right for you. If you don't want to have children because you don't have a lot of money, one option could be to make more money. You should keep in mind though that, even if you have a lot of money, it very well may not be the best thing to just hand your children everything on a platter. They need to learn to work, set goals and get by in life on their own. Another option could certainly be to find a wife who also doesn't want children, if you don't want them. There are women out there that don't want children. The most important thing is to do what you want. If you want to get married, get married. You'll figure out the rest as you go. You're still young. Maybe you'll change your mind and get married when you're 30 or 40. There's nothing wrong with that.
