1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Panda Emics and Bamboo network on: October 07, 2020, 07:20:21 PM
Increasing human population and the advent of touch screen phones may represent lethal viruses and bacteria contamination vectors.
With circular economy concepts there are definitely creative means to address this issue wisely.

In this context, present to you the panda Emics

It not only sterilizes a mobile phone inserted in its back with UV light but also wirelessly charges it.
As an incentive for people to start massively start charging their phones with the panda Emics, a cryptocurrency and smart contracts capable network called Bamboo is to be developed.

Emics mines whenever it is sterilizing a phone for maximum 8h a day.
The mining process uses the mobile phone chip id as means to resist against future power centralization.
The phone hardware mines bamboos as a reward for computing smart contracts operations of the Bamboo network and for sterilizing the phone while not in use.
If mining, Emics slowly waves at you just like the famous Lucky Cat.

With the sales of such devices a percentage is used to buy bamboos. So that there is a big incentive to invite increasingly more people to include phone sterilization in their daily routines.

I was analysing the recent bets data shown in the website and I've noticed some of the last rows are not being updated. The whole data is updated scrolling down bet by bet but sometimes last four or five rows stay the same. Randian, can you fix that?
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: May 24, 2016, 09:11:52 PM
Wow, today the software we've created had an outstanding day of tests in the automatic bet placing mode.

As people here are welcoming our company's software very badly, maybe we should just use it for our own sake.

Use this tool to play SatoshiDice for increase awareness of the house.

http://store.payloadz.com/go/?id=2488382

It utilizes Tor for increased traffic protection.

Because of scam charges by Taratonga, next week I'll be issuing a promotional discount code for it.
The idea is to make it free and license limited to two weeks.
What do you guys think?

Thank you!

Gentlemen,

It is with proud of our development team that I announce we've finished the first version of Crystalina software.

Quote
It is a strategic software for gambling bitcoins at Satoshidice website that through statistical analysis improves greatly the winning chances. It is a versatile software that allows different playing strategies according to the astuteness of each player. There are two modes of autonomous bet placing operation. The compound interest rate mode that targets improving player's balance bet by bet and the prize hunter mode that targets winning the satoshidice daily prizes.

Dice rolls are 100% stochastically independent.
There is no meaningful possible "statistical analysis".

I hope no one falls for your scam.

Taratonga, you shouldn't accuse a product of a scam without even trying it.
It shares some characteristics that the stocks Market does (stochastically independent data). But you missed one point. Stocks Market has hundreds of statistical analysis tools. Stay ahead and be among the pioneers targeting this purpose. Toolless players will look like primitive people when compared to tool equipped smarter ones.

Code:

13  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Nova lei legaliza o Bitcoin no Brasil (?) on: February 12, 2014, 02:25:20 PM
A lei citada no início do tópico está defasada. Hoje segue a definição de Moeda eletrônica acesso à lei 12865 no dia 12/02/2014 às 12:21 h.

The support system can be enhanced through the internet, phone calls, personally in the offices and so on.
Today its taking some days for a support request to be entirely fullfilled.

I believe there's room for improvement since people should have the option to call for immediate support.
The services provided look like banking services. I would like to have the same support channels banks provide.

This is something that increases the reliability of the whole Bitcoin community.
People need to feel confident about their financial operations.

A missing feature in my understanding is the option to choose the time of the autopayments.
This would allow people to check whether the auto payment was complete in order to choose if they need to manually press the pay now button.

This feature would eliminate the risk of an unwanted late payment.
17  Economy / Lending / How do I make borrowers return my money in BTCJam? on: February 06, 2014, 02:27:11 PM
I read a comment from Vezunchik in the other post and arrived to the same question.
What to do and to expect next since you already won the "Loan Arbitration Award"?

Hi BTCJam.
There are several overdue loan listings where I've invested funds.
It was more than 6 months ago and I want to know what was done to make borrowers return my money.
Now it looks like that you simply wrote several e-mails with "BTCJAM Loan Arbitration Award" and that is all.
When I can expect any result? Never?

To my understanding you have to get a sworn Affidavit of Arbitration from net-ARB and then go to court.
You have to put some effort here since you want to get back those beloved BTC.

According to net-ARB FAQ taken from https://www.net-arb.com/FAQ.php#Rules:

Q: How do I enforce the decision?

Courts routinely enforce arbitration decisions in much the same manner that they enforce their own decisions, called judgments. When the losing party does not pay the amount or perform the action directed by a judgment within a reasonable amount of time (typically 30 days), the winning party returns to court and requests a fi fa (short for fieri facias), a judicial writ ordering the sheriff to satisfy the judgment from the debtor's property. This can take the form of seizure of bank accounts, property, or garnishment of wages.

In the case of an arbitration award, there is one intermediate step. The judge must turn the award into a judgment and then issue the fi fa on the judgment. Because the courts favor arbitration as a means to settle disputes without tying up the courts, this intermediate step is usually a routine matter. In our 9+ years of operation, no court has ever rejected a net-ARB award.

Before you go to court, you will need a sworn Affidavit of Arbitration from us, stating the terms of the Arbitration Agreement and the amount of the Award. You can obtain an Affidavit of Arbitration by writing to » net-ARB Support anytime after your case has been decided. There is a nominal $35 processing fee for this service.

Several international conventions for Enforcement of Arbitral Awards, most notably The United Nations Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards show overwhelming support for arbitration and enforcement of arbitration awards in »144 countries worldwide.

19  Other / Beginners & Help / BTCJam improvement areas suggestions? on: February 06, 2014, 11:12:28 AM
The pourpose of this topic is to help BTCJam personell to find potential improvements for the system since the competition is coming.

I have three problems I faced:
1 Auto payments
2 Use bitcoiltalk name
3 Internet explorer hiccups

Yesterday, an odd thing happened to me. This was my first loan and I became  surprised when I noticed last night that the automatic payment didn't happen.
I was expecting it to happen on time.

Then I had to manually press the Pay now button to solve the situation.

Still, to me it shows there was one late payment.

I don't know if it has to do with the fact this loan was tied to BitstampUSD.
The problem for me right now is that I'll have to pay manually from now on, since I don't know if the auto payment would happen.

The second issue was that I followed all the instructions in order to link my bitcointalk profile with my BTCJam profile without success. My question is, Is this feature working?

The third issue is that I tried acessing through the internet explorer. Most of the things work. Unfortunately you can't invest on listings and send feedback. What happens is the screen darkens and then freezes.
20  Bitcoin / Press / Re: Edison's Revenge on the Dollar (?) - WHAAAAT???? on: January 27, 2014, 03:36:32 PM
We need to see how much people are going to embrace bitcoin as consequence of this comercial. More important is how much they are going to invest and how.
This is the positive side I could see watching the full video.

What I don't like much is the ammount of sensationalism applied.
But maybe he is right about what he is saying.

The problem to me is this doesn't look well fundamented.
Somebody should get the ideas and make a documentary better discussed by a hall of economists and historians.
