nope.

hold on to your money.
wait for summer and next generations of asic miners (5-7TH/s) and be fast on buying to be in batch 1 for delivery.
keep an eye on kncminer and black arrow.

right now you can forget about whole thing.
there are to many waiting in lines at black arrow, cointerra and black arrow that everything you buy right now it will be shipped to you way to late.

10-4, I had that thought in the back of my mind and kinda just needed an outside conformation to snap me into place. The money will stay invested in an account and will be used in the summer.

I kinda had a sense that there were some 'next gen' miners coming down the line when I saw that most companies were "releasing now due to production moving to the new product lines".

Here's to the future of mine and yours investments!  Cry

Edited- B/C I am an illiterate bastard.

II just recently was green lighted to invest upwards of $30,000 dollars into BTC mining rigs.

I am looking to buy some decent rigs to have "in hand" in > 1 month w/o over paying.

My optimum rig would have about 17T/H's of power total and meet my 30000 goal.

I am not looking to start off small, I am looking to go big or go home.

Does anyone here have any leads on high T/H rigs I could have in hand in > one month?

AND, NO! I do not want to invest in BTC. I want to mine BTC.

EDIT-

The HasherTech 3T/H's miners were my first choice but I was not able to gather the funds in time to make the investment profitable in the time-frame required.

One small step to BTC's demise.
Bump for interest.

I’d strongly advise everyone reading this to treat mining as a hobby, and not a “get rich quick” scheme

I'm not looking to "get rich quick", I'm looking to have some fun and make some money. Basically, money is my hobby because I play professional poker. I'm just looking to leave my machine running

Read into technical Analysis and invest into bitcoins. Buy and hold is not going to make you money, but with the right strategy when to buy BTC and when to sell you can get some profits. And with your job you should be able to handle the stress Wink
My objective is to mine doge (for now) and transfer into BTC.

I dont want to buy and hold. If I wanted to do that i would asic mine at 600G/Hs x 10= 20000USD

Im here to have fun and pay rent. (1060month)
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin been a bit boring last 3 weeks, do you think it will dip or shoot up ? on: January 28, 2014, 12:42:25 AM
I expect it to fluctuate massively in the coming months between 700-1100USD

Hello guys! Let`s talk about hashrate statistic on differenet CPUs GPUs ?
As I understand, here we need GPU from ATI for good rate? CPU is out of the game?

For starters: on my athlon x4 740 1 thread ~ 6,5 khash, all 4 threads 26,5 khash

It seems, I need a good GPU or a good people who willing to share )))

You need to look into getting some Radeon R9 280x's (750k/hs) or some Radeon 7950's (720k/hs)

Anyone want to help a newb whose future rig (4 r280x's) will be arriving piece by piece over the next week.

I've been mining for like 4 hours and have only .7 SMC's to show for it  Undecided

Thanks for all of the help guys. I will look into the cryptobadger site later today.

I would invest in BTC but I have a feeling they will fall for the next 3-6 months.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / $4,000 to invest in GPU miner. What do? on: January 25, 2014, 04:01:42 AM
Alright so here's the deal, I am new to this whole mining thing and am currently using my gaming machine for a miner (it gets 120k/h).

I am tired of taking a lot smaller bites than I could if I invested some real money into a rig.

I have $4,000USD to invest in a ltc mining rig and dont really want to mess with the whole ASIC thing.

Since I am soooooo dang new to this whole scene I was wondering if you guys could help me build a list to complete my newly founded dream.

I've looked at the Sapphire 290X's and the GIGABYTE 290X's as well.

Basically, I have no knowledge of what I need to buy but I am very well versed when it comes to putting the machine together.

All I need is (yes this is asking for a lot) is a list of stuff to be able to have a fully functional rig.

If they're any other post pertaining to this then please refer me to them.

Thanks for all of your help in advance!!!
