The development of artificial intelligence, sounds cool! In the market there is a small competition in this direction.
Not much?) Are you kidding? the best specialists of the planet are working on the solution of the problem of creating artificial intelligence. And this thread is ridiculous. There is no team, there is no theory and idea, there is only ambition and you can word - ICO. I don't even see any pictures of the team. This is not bitcoin, there is no need for anonymity))) I never said that we are creating the only or even one of the only artificial intelligence systems. We are creating a network that will hopefully one day grow into something really big and exciting. Of course we are not "the best specialists of the planet", but please have some respect to not trash our project for no reason... It is not about trashing your project for no reason. You just give a little bit the impression that artificial intelligence could be developed as a hobby. That won't work as the largest companies on the world are already on this. When Bitcoin was new, people referred to it as a hobby and said how the biggest companies in the world are already handling finance... Look at it now. That's not true. There have been some people who worked a lot on Bitcoin and became experts for blockchain tech because they saw the potential from the very start. AI isn't as new anymore. The term has been out there for very long and it's not some mystic thing that nobody pays attention to from the corporate sector like was the case for Bitcoin in its very early days. Building AI systems requires a lot of knowledge and resources in my opinion. Do you have sufficient amounts of both available to build a competitive AI system? You start your comment with "That's not true", as to discredit my point then go on to further prove it. Nothing about this project suggests that artificial intelligence is "new anymore" or that AiBlocks is a "first" of anything. The fact is that AI IS in it's early stages of development and can go any-which-way. Yes, huge companies are putting "a lot of knowledge and resources" into the research and development of artificial intelligence. As are the all of the big banks putting "a lot of knowledge and resources" into combating digital cryptocurrencies. Does this mean we should all say "f*** starting a cryptocurrency, let's leave the finance industry to Well Fargo since they have a lot of knowledge and resources"? Mine as well leave artificial intelligence to the big guys too, nothing we can do there... This project is not "a better idea than Samsung", or "competing AI with Google" - it is, however, unique and has infinite potential. |

Try to compile from the github source now, it's been updated. As for the users having errors connecting, make sure that you're using version 0.124 which includes the mandatory security update. Otherwise, it won't be able to connect. Cheers. Using the newest version (AiBlocks-v0.124a-Win32_64bit) and getting this error: "Error: Connection to network interrupted...." Are you using the Windows binary release or compiling from source? What version does it say at the top when you open AiBlocks? I justed opened the newest Windows binary release and it appears to be opening v0.122 even though our Dev labeled it as v0.124. I don't know if this is an error caused somehow from running it on Linux with Wine after having built the newest version from source. Or if our dev accidentally uploaded the Windows binaries from v0.122 in the v0.124 Windows release I downloaded the windows 64 bit zip. It says v0.122 on the top  Ah great. That explains a lot.. Thanks for the info, I've notified our lead dev and we'll get the correct binaries rolled out. We're almost finished on v0.125 also, some new things being added. |

Version 0.124a is now out *Updates:
The AiBlocks network was being attacked by a flood attack that caused issues connecting and synchronizing.
Basically, the attacker was submitting huge mined blocks (100MB+) with header info that tricked the network into thinking the blocks were only 500KB (The maximum acceptable block size), and therefore accepted these huge blocks, and tried to add them to the blockchain. Initially, this stopped anyone from connecting do to it creating an invalid chain. We then modified the protocol in version 0.121b to deny such block for being added to the chain, temporarily stopping the attacker.
Then the attacker slightly changed up his method so the headers of his new huge blocks would still be accepted as valid, but our fail-safe stopped them from being added to the chain. This caused a huge slowdown in synchronizing and basically blocked every new user from synchronizing.
We have finally now in version 0.124a, created new fail-safes that block any type of block manipulation (or so we believe) and the network is running back at perfect efficiency.
If we encounter any problems like this in the future, we will continue to work hard stabilizing the network to prevent these possible future problems. We thank you all for you patience, and hope you enjoy a now-working AiBlocks Wallet.
Version 0.124a fixes:
#Added more fail-safes to block any type of block header manipulation, stopping the flood attack that prevented users from synchronizing
#Fixed a few other connectivity issues.

maybe DEV want premine more  Not possible while the network is being flooded. Just like transactions not being able to confirm, any mined blocks won't be able to confirm either. |

Do you have nothing to do? And people who are still running this "wallet",please turn off your network connection, you will see a miracle! Amazing, it keeps "syncing" and adding blocks even without a internet connection. Jesus christ, don't download this shit. That's because of two reasons, 1. It's still processing blocks it already downloaded, and 2. When synchronizing for the first time, it shows the "amount of blocks left to sync" as an estimate calculated from 10 second blocks (which is why the "amount left" goes up one block every 10 seconds) This is a bug in the program we need to fix: If you disconnect your internet after blocks were previously downloaded, it doesn't throw up an error when you disconnect your internet and continue to try to synchronize. As for the reason it isn't able to catch up for most of you, I'm told that the network is under some type of flood attack and no one will be able to synchronize until we find a way to block the attack. We thought we patched this in the previous version, but whoever is flooding the network found another way to do it. Your funds are not at risk, but we highly recommend not broadcasting any transactions (sending any funds/tokens) until we fix this as the transactions will most likely get stuck unconfirmed and flood the mempool even further. We're working on this full-time now and will post an update when we have more news. Thanks everyone for your patience. |

As this project has no ICO, then what i need to know is the date of this coins to get listed in an exchange an ready to be trade.
Will it also open some kind of airdrop?
Currently AiBlocks is not listed on any exchanges, but we hope for that to change by late 2018, early 2019 latest. Bad news folks.
This software is installing a trojan horse to steal bitcoin from you.
Watch out. On my machine, it hijacked the Adobe update process, and added an update command to the startup folder.

Check out what you are talking about before you post accusations like this... It creates a registry key named "AiBlocksUpdate" that checks for updates when the computer starts. And it only creates this registry key if you tell it to when you first run the program (By clicking "Check for updates" then clicking "Next"). In other news, the network is finally back up as of July 23 05:00 UTC, and the newest version (AiBlocks v0.122) has been released. Our lead developer asked to to post this:Hello everyone. I would like to make a news update for all of those who are interested in the AiBlocks project.
We found a very critical security flaw in the most recent release of AiBlocks that would have potentially allowed for someone to completely disrupt the network and all of the applications, smart contracts, etc. This security flaw was was found by myself, after which I took our seed nodes offline and have been working hard to recreate much of the program in order to circumvent this potential security risk.
The network has basically been "paused" since the flaw was discovered. A daemon upgrade will be required to connect to the new network (everyone's mined coins and balances are as they were when the network paused on block 11635). We are now just finishing up some final things before we release AiBlocks version 0.122, so keep an eye out. We will post an update on the Bitcointalk announcement thread as soon as the upgrade is available. To keep everything fair for all users, we will continue the "pause" on the network until July 22, 23:59 UTC. This will give everyone a chance to upgrade their software and get everything ready. At that hour, the network will resume and all users that have upgraded to the newest software can resume normal use of AiBlocks. Users will also be given a new option to start mining right away, regardless of whether or not their daemon is fully synchronized (You will not, however, be able to spend your mined funds until the daemon is fully synchronized.

Sounds good Any estimated date when it will work again? Today hopefully. I'm told about 6-8 hours approx. until our nodes are up and running. We will also be releasing AiBlock v0.122, and an upgrade is required to correctly synchronize. The option to load your previous wallet before synchronization is complete is also being added in v0.122. Do we have pools & link to miner ?
Currently the only way to mine is though our built-in CPU miner, which only has the "solo-mine" option at the moment. We will have mining pools released in the near future. |

Any news on the synchronisation? Oh yes, we are working on our nodes at the moment. I am told that the problem is also with the wallet client. As soon as we have both working, we will post an update. Also, don't worry about us "mining while no one else can", as mining isn't working either - the network has been stuck on block 11635 for about 24 hours now. |

This is interesting, do you have any more details in regards to what sort of things are capable with an AI powered dapp vs a regular dapp?
I see that the network is frozen so i'll keep an eye on it until it's up and running again, but i am curious about what you've got going on with this project. Like the cpu mining as well.

As our network grows, we expect the collective intelligence of our AI to grow smarter and more advanced. Of course as it's in its early stages of growth, we can mostly except it to only solve simple problems, like "A, B, C, or D", or "How much, when, or who" decisions. For one example - we have an example program of a Quiz in which the AI application judges text answers and rewards the different participants a different amount of tokens depending on quality/validity of the answers. It does this by taking the text answers and splitting them apart into machine-understandable statements. It then judges the quality/validity of these statements against huge amounts of data that the AiBlocks network is plugged into. As the AiBlocks network grows, the amount of accessible data will increase, as well as the quality of the data, and the practical application of the data. Some other examples of merits we have already achieved with AiBlocks include Self-moderating forums, intuitive web security programs, data management, and many other simple to moderately simple tasks that currently take so many companies many soon-to-be unnecessary work hours. As AiBlocks network becomes more advanced, so will the capabilities of the type of problems it will be able to solve. *I've added this reply into the main post* |

Is the chain really already at block 11635 or is that a visual bug because its not syncing? Because i thought there is no premine etc
I believe that's the correct amount of blocks right before the seed nodes stopped functioning properly (since that number is not changing anymore). The block time is 10 Seconds/Block, so that would be just over 32 hours since mainnet launch. |

Yes..same here..hopefully it gets fixed soon.. I'm also having trouble synchronizing now myself. As soon as our main developer wakes up, I'm sure he'll be able to fix this rather shortly. I personally don't have the skill to make any changes without risking screwing things up. Watch the thread, I will post here when everything's all good and well. |

What should be the conf file named and where should it be saved? Can i just add the seed nodes as a text there, no commands? Greetings
You set the file with the -config-file parameter. eg: aiblocks-v0121.exe -config-file #PATH TO .conf FILE# Or you should be able to just put "aiblocks.conf" into the working directory, but I'm not 100% sure that that has been enabled yet. And you add the following line to your .conf file: |
