is there an "-f" which almost stops the minier if i play something like Battlefield 3? 240 seems to be too low, but i heared it was the highest possible.
2  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: DiabloMiner GPU Miner on: December 07, 2012, 10:05:24 AM
start DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -u oggermc@hotmail.de_0 -p ******** -o pit.deepbit.net -r 8332 -D 1 -g 5 -f 240
start DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -u oggermc@hotmail.de_1 -p ******** -o pit.deepbit.net -r 8332 -D 2 -g 5 -f 10

EDIT: After removing "-g 5" it works now, but i used -g 5 since i started mining.

i get the same error, I even deleted my DiabloMiner folder and took a fresh one, no luck there.
4  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: DiabloMiner GPU Miner (LP, BFI_INT, async nw, multipool, 79xx GCN) on: May 12, 2012, 12:22:07 AM
hmm this is strange, after i restarted the miner it has no cpu usage in the beginning, but an increased memory usage of 118 mb and 115 mb.
After like 3 minutes the 5850 Miner was again at 25% cpu usage.

i also noticed that it was the diablo miner for the 5850 who was using 25% cpu usage and the 7870 was at 0%.

But as i was starting both up, i noticed that at the 5850 there is an line "BFI_INT patching enable ...." and on the 7870 it isnt.

this is my starting the D1 is the 7870

start DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -o localhost -r 9332 -D 1 -f 120
start DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -o localhost -r 9332 -D 2 -f 1

EDIT: chaning the f 1 to f 10 did the trick!

thanks for your help guys!

which is the command to tell the miner to use only a certian cpu core?

Thats a trick question, right? DiabloMiner uses 1% cpu or less typically.

not really, i have an java.exe usage of exactly 25% and 38 mb (i dont care about the memmory usage).
its not the 100% cpu bug, some light version of it xD

okay, but wont the first card be cooled the most and the last card would get only hot water?

you mean instead of 1 and 2 i would put the t-benches? but how would that fit in size? i thought they would be directly next to it.
9  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Would that work? 6x 7970 on Sapphire Pure Black 990FX on: May 04, 2012, 05:13:08 PM
yeah, but i cant fit 2 psu's into an "normal" case, i plan to run this in an case and outside 1 or 2 MO-RA's for the cooling.

Im not sure, how much space there is betwean the cards, you think i can make the water go  3 cards > rad - 3 cards > rad ?

Hello, im just wondering if this would work.

the mainboard
http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=2&gid=1089&sgid=1099&pid=1128&psn=&lid=1&leg=0

the gpu's would be referenz 7970's + waterblock

and i was wondering if there is an PSU out there strong enough for it?

the most capable i found was this one

would this fit on an 6500 rev 3? http://compare.eu/608683

anyone knows which tool works for voltage tweaking for this card? i use the Sapphire 7870 1 ghz edition (with dual fans)
I tried Afterburner and Trixx...

i wonder if its still continued...
If it is, i would want to buy some!

i did set up my card of DIablo miner now, and it went from 420 to 435 mhash, so it was worth the trouble.
15  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7870 mining speed, over 430 Mhash/s ?! on: April 18, 2012, 09:48:12 PM
i will test it later, havent done any voltage tweaking yet.

my 5850 is giving me alot rejects , about 10%  while my 7870 gives me like 0-1%...
the temps are below 80°C and there is no HW error and on change in rejection after i change the gpu settings to stock.

Sure, mine has about 177 Watt Usage.

Overclocked to 1180 mhz core.

Great thanks, its working now, but is there an more easy way to get it working? i am starting cmd every time and go  with "cd c:\..." to the folder and have to type it all.

ohh and the hash rate increase by about 10 Mhash compared to the gui miner.

Write a .bat file with notepad and put it in the same dir with DiabloMiner-Windows.exe, type out the entire command in it. Then just double click on the .bat file and it should work if you did it right.

working like a charm, it even opens both miners if i put both commands in only 1 bat file.
and im Amazed by the hashing speed of my 7870. I mean, 440 Mhash without any voltage tweaking is great i think.
