Agreed, but a score of 1 on that scale is perhaps too abysmal. I'd give it at least a 2.
Communication, on the other hand, is for me at -100, but that's a different story ...

Keep up the good work!

Just putting it out there that I got some X-1s from BlackArrow and their quality is not that bad at all. They are super silent, have great heatsinks, the wifi and lcd are working nicely and setting it up takes minutes.

They are actually quite nice machines when they work. They are just so horribly late.

Thank you for opening this thread and perhaps unintentionally leading 'la resitance' against those scammers.
I'll be joining you real soon.

Who was the guy putting up a lawsuit ? Can somebody point me ?

BlackArrow is doing really great now. Everyone has received a final assurance that the confirmation of definite and unquestionable shipping will surely and duely be on its way next week.
As compensations all cases have now been replaced with ones made out of cat fur and jizz (to keep in line with the eco-friendly attitude which is just one of the many values upholded in BA).

Let's rejoyce and stick that Black D. further up ours !

yep, It's a very good index to what not to do. I wish it was more popular tho. If only we could channel some of the vast quantities of hate of BFL, we'd get it on top 10 all the time Smiley

Still absolutely nothing from BlackArrow. No mails, no miners, no refunds, no answers, no nothing.
These good for nothing crooks screwed over all of us and give absolutely no information on what's going on ..

I'm not sure why I'm expecting a reply on this scam really ...

I am glad that I didn't sell my VTC with recent downtrend , patience eventually pays off in crypto .

Only when the coin is a good one. And this is definitely one of them.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide on: June 11, 2014, 09:57:42 AM
BlackArrow is a major sinkhole with absolutely no communication effort, outright lying to their customers about absolutely everything.

Their specs have been totally missed. No stackable miners, no lcds, wifi's, no hosting, the hash-rent program is non-existant, miner hardware specifications with regards to consumption - totally off.

It's a big pile of chineese horse poo. Their flag product is absolutely nowhere in sight.

I should have converted the 10k USD I spent on their vaporware to 1 dollar bills and heat myself in the winter - it would have been far more efficient.

It's funny how I asked for immediate shipment using whatever method they can to get the low-spec machines running. And just as they were about to fulfil my order (or actually a small part of it) - BAM! They got their original design magically working and now will take 2-3 weeks to fulfil my order - absolute scam-fest.

Incompetent thieves, that in all probability are mining with our hardware.

Take what you will from this in the company score.

@david I think everyone in this forum would appreciate it if Blackarrow and company come in here and take into consideration  customers' input in regards to the final compensation for batch 1 before making a final decision by themselves.

I want some of that stuff you're smoking.

The thing in your sig, two of them, and an ant miner

He's not trolling, BA has come on the forums, said the problem they have and offered to pay anyone who could solve it. You said that it was a simple fix, david is asking you to tell them how to fix it (don't forget you get paid to fix it).

It's a troll because they have completely ignored the information requests of anyone interested in fixing it, the mention of recruiting people from the community was just a PR-stunt in one of their "next week" updates. Furthermore, in what universe did BA have a right to even exist as a manufacturer if they can't even perform the most basic possible design goals within the massively-forgiving window of time they've had so far.

Worst part by far is lying about ... practically everything. From the initial dates, through the tapeout, to the 'shipping starts next week' fiasco. Now they're shipping their weakest product - well thanks a lot, but based several parameters at the time of purchase I will be looking at an ROI within a year (no fiat involved so BTC price is irrelevant).

I spent 12k USD today on competitor hardware.
I may not have made the best choice but I sure didn't make the worst ..

The hashboard x3 issues sound like a problem that should have been well known a long time ago.
Even if it's not trivial to fix.

Someone tell these Chinese guys that if this is how u make business in China, it doesn't really work for the rest of the world. No sane customer that spends 5 minutes to check on the company history before spending some $6k will purchase anything.

Yes, we will definitely pay your post lots of attention .. maybe not as much as you got with your 37 posts.

I'm not even sure why I'm trying to teach economics 101 to retarded believers. Vertcoin would drop an other 75% and people would still say "w/e in vertcoin we trust". I made 500% in 2 months not by going long with VTC. I like the coin and at one point I had 15 000 units of it playing it long, held them for > 2 months.

Someday you wake up with 50% less BTC than if you had kept them in BTC and you just give up. There is simply too much inflation to "hoard" VTC. VTC is not a good value keeper by any means even tho I would rate the potential of this coin higher than doge/ltc/etc.

I'm trying to give pertinent argumentation about why I think that and all you can say is "you just have 37 posts". I'm done losing my time trying to help retards.

You are welcome.

Yeah, cool insulting is fine too i guess. It's ppl like you for the momentous profit that are sadly the culprits and (as of not to long ago) the drivers of the crypto market.

Economics on a alt-coin crypto market ? what are YOU smoking ?
You have only speculators and miners on the market, what kind of economics can u possibly have with this.

So you held 15k for 2 months ?! And I am the retard ? Seriously !? Like that inflation & profitability thing u just pointed out hit you too late ?

As if DRK has a market to spend those coins .. Value could and indeed so far for all coins does come from speculation.

I'd like to see vtc be one of the ones that actually get wider adoption.
