Hey, I am moving all my bitcoins to buy every last one of these coins. This is the next big thing guys, this is the btc 2.0 you were waiting for. You missed btc, you missed eth, you even missed eos...So, do not repeat your mistakes anymore with this great coin!
ETH is history but yeah there was good money in it if you got in and out at right time! You're too late for the ICO now unfortunately its sold out |

Yeah the time is good for the community, investors and traders once it launches. I'll be hodling regardless for a long time. If any project is going to do 1000x now it could be something like this. Who would have thought ETH would collapse like it has? Something with real value like this is one solution

brilliant. I have a large personal and group invesmrnt into Auric. can't believe how organised it all is. The weekly info packs alone are better than 99% of ICOs make. And a full audit to prove their funding and where the money is? like to see the others that offer that.
And with bitcoin in the doldrums and Ethereum clearly dying (and taking the alts down with it), the time is right for a coin like this.
I agree with earlier poster, too bad for those that missed out, this will be inflated far more than the measly dollar or so each us ICO investors paid!!!!

I did buy some more in the main ico but got most of mine in the flash ico few weeks ago - pays to be alert!

In general, there are several factors affecting the price of the project. The most important thing is that the team itself fulfill its promises and perform its work following its road map.
True for most crypto, but this one also has a base value in terms of gold so ICO investors always have that as a fall-back against price headwinds. I think that's the point the previous poster was making. It's why I bought in both the flash ico and some more in this main one. Looks like ICO is about to finish anyway nearly all the coins have been sold. |

I bought my Auric in the flash ico, but looks like they are still going quick. Had a look on their website, 5,300,000 left out of 7,200,000 at the start of the ICO. Can't wait for Auric to get them all sold and then launch the ledger and gold exchange asap.
Lot of smart people will realise the potential here. Wait for the institutions to buy tomorrow and see how long this ICO runs for then!

Hard to know how long the main ico will last, i guess most of us on here bought some or all in the flash which sold out in a few hours? but from what they said in the progress email i got today, the institutions will be out for the main ico so even though they have loads more left they could even go just as quickly, or by the middle of the week anyway as all of the funds will have theirs by then i guess.
Might buy more but I did get a LARGE number in the flash ico!

And I'm pretty sure that using of Deloitte name here is unauthorized. So, your money now on the way to nowhere. Sorry, but it was your's decision. I got in touch with Deloitte just before the flash ICO, emailed them directly rather than that link. I've had a standard response that they're looking into my query blah blah blah so will keep everyone updated. But I too invested in the weekend initial ICO so I guess that definitely demonstrates my confidence. And they don't sell 800,000 coins at I think around $1.18 each by accident. |

I got my order in bang on 1600 and have already received the payment invoice and sent the payment, and just as well as down to about half of them left already

I've made an error I filled in and sent off the payment form on the flash ICO page when I saw it there I thought ICO had started. Sorry. Do I need to send off another one now at 1600 when it actually starts. Bit unsure what to do now
It's not a problem - just resubmit your purchase order after the start time of 1600 UTC, we have had a fair number of 'early' buys and we will just be ignoring all those and not processing ones until after the start time. We are emailing all those who have submitted orders early to remind them of the start time, hopefully you have received one of those by now yourself. Kindest Regards

They're on telegram ive messaged them a few times over that
I found them very responsive on Telegram, they even went off and found their maths guy who did the price analysis in the white paper to have a quick chat with me about some of the technical side of their blockchain and a few other things. Really impressed. |

more substance in this white paper than 95% or more that I've read. investing most of my planned cash in the flash ICO assuming I manage to get some, then will maybe put more in at the main ICO depending on market conditions and other factors at the time

I messaged the aUric team yesterday with a final bunch of questions that I was unsure about after working my way through their white paper especially some math based ones about their modelling and got a reply pretty much as detailed as the white paper itself. Really thorough and I'd be lying if I said I understood all of it but it addressed all the points I raised and that was the final bit of due diligence from me as far as Im concerned. Was going to wait until the main ico in september but might as well have a go at getting my supply in the flash one on Saturday as with the current market it will just cost me more if I wait for those two extra weeks. That's how little confidence I have in it all right now and why a gold backed investment is the one for me

When price are falling it is general perception that they will keep going more down and this is where majority of traders loose. I will fully do agree that price will not fall further because already damage is serious. Whales play with markets but till some certain point which can be used to reverse the market easily. They don't want situation to go out of control so it was bottom in my opinion.
Like 400 was the bottom a month or so ago? Or 500 a little before that? Time to step out imo. Either BTC or something completely different. Eth is finished. Well done to those who sold back end of last year for either fiat or BTC. Rest are losers. |

yeah, with the gold value on each coin this is probably the only alt that is safe to be in at the moment haha. Obviously I wish I'd got out of Eth and the rest of my alts and moved to bitcoin now, but will now be transferring most of them to this on Saturday, who wants to be holding Eth when the chairs stop moving? Not me.
This market feels like it did when I first entered crypto in 2014. Except that altcoins are the ones really being hit this time. Auric makes sense as a shelter at this tricky period if nothing else. I plan to hodl but heck I might even sell them out for gold if it comes to it. Ethereum is being exposed as a busted flush tbh I'm surprised Auric team are still accepting them in the ICOs. Suppose they have it in their white paper and website and would look bad to cancel it as a payment option. Not complaining though, I will be glad to get rid of them. Auric will be as close to an uncoupled crypto as you can get right now. |

So the official news from us here at Auric is that we have decided after a day of consideration to go with the 8 hour Flash ICO on Saturday 18th August 1600 UTC to 0000, as previously discussed. It's not a perfect solution, but it should help spread the ownership of Auric coins further and reduce the risk of an institutional lockout come the main ICO on September 1st.
There will be just 10% of the total Auric supply on offer (800,000 coins), at the same terms as the main ICO ie a BTC or ETH equivalent of 0.001oz of Gold per coin. This price will be rounded to the nearest 100 Aurics and will be displayed at a rate of Aurics/BTC and Aurics/ETH. The actual rate will depend on the price of the purchasing cryptocurrency and the daily spot price of gold, as per the formula in the whitepaper. Minimum purchase spend is either 0.02 BTC or 0.3 ETH, thereafter going up in multiples of 0.01 BTC and 0.1 ETH. Simply complete the form with the amount of currency you're looking to convert to Auric and we will provide you with a personalised invoice for your purchase.
All will become clear when you visit the Flash ICO link on the website, which we will turn on sometime nearer the end of the week. We will also link it to this thread for convenience.
We hope you all understand and appreciate the reasons we are doing this. It's purely to help the community - it is creating a lot of extra work for us, but we all feel it's the right thing to do to combat mass buys of our precious Auric coins and spread them further amongst the investors. More news later in the week.

Important Update: We've decided to go with the Flash ICO option to help spread out the demand for Auric. It will take place for eight hours on Saturday 18th August between 1600 UTC and 0000. Buying terms are the same as with the full ICO on September 1st and we will be selling just 10% of the total supply ie 800,000 Aurics.

When I first saw this I though oh here we go, pre-ico etc and all that nonsense but now I read it I can see what you're doing and why. And after trying to buy something this morning that sold out in literally the first minute everywhere (a limited edition console rather than crypto, I hasten to add) and feeling very annoyed about it, I can appreciate this idea even more. |
