Hello all, can ANYONE help me please with my problem? Since version 2.2.c I am not able to run any newer version. All the time I only changed new release to my directory and run. But after release 2.2c I cannot run miniZ (trying all version since 2.2d, 2.3, 2.4 and also 2.5) on the same machines. So I can run only 2.2c and any older. Its not about Windows version (using W10 and W11). Its not about cards (mining with RTX 3070 and RTX 3080) Also its not about antivirus (other miners in the same directory are OK and I have an exception). After start any miniz.exe WITHOUT parameters it should show a window with version - thats the right manner. When i try to start newer version than 2.2c - so it only blinks for a 1 second and closes itselfNo error, no warning, only closes itself. I dont understand, why any older version is functional and newer versions not. Something new (maybe in memory management or access to memory???) is in 2.2d and newer versions. Is there anyone, who can tell me, where is the problem? Thank you very very much... Hi TBOEMC, Thank you for your message. Could you try the new version and let us know if this issue is fixed for you? Cheers

miniZ v2.4e Latest HivesOS
Flightsheet: Hash algorithm: 144,5 Wallet and worker template: %WAL% (BTCZ Wallet Address) Pass: c=BTCZ,mc=BTCZ,ID=%WORKER_NAME% Pool server:port: stratum+tcp://equihash144.eu.mine.zergpool.com:2146
Miner Error: [ERROR ] Cannot resolve stratum+tcp
I tried different pools. All of the same this error. I try to put --pers=BitcoinZ or --pers=auto or --smart-pers at extra config. But not helped.
Any idea ?
Hi igotek, Thank you for your message. This error means that the miner cannot connect to the pool. It is likely that the pool was down for a while. Fortunately, it seems to be up again and working fine. Could you try again and let us know if it is working well for you now? It should not be necessary to specify the pers string. Cheers

Hello miniZ Would you be kind enough to expand support to our Meraki algorithm? We're a ProgPoW variant and would enjoy having additional mining software support. https://github.com/Telestai-ProjectThank you. Hi John-117, Thank you for your suggestion. We're working on it for the next release. Cheers

Hello there, I am not able to run 2.4d In the same rigs, drivers, cards, settings (OC and without OC), AV exceptions (or OFF). New version only "blinks" for about 0,5sec and closes. No erros, no warnings. Version 2.2 runs good and stable. Also tried just run standalone miner with just doubleclick - the same result.
Hi TBOEMC, Thank you for your feedback. Could you please try the new version v2.4d2, and let us know if the issue is resolved? Cheers

hey guys I am trying to mine some equihash 144,5 coins and it works great on both my RX 5700 and my RX 5700 XT but not w5700 pro (the card works great on other algos and/or other miners but miniz is by far faster)
Tried to downgrade version but all I get is this:
any clues? currently I have to use another miner on the w5700 that is slower
Hi Sikkan666, Sorry, this is not yet resolved in the new version. Please try adding --mode3=22 to your command line. This will run mode 22 in GPU#3. Let us know if this helps. Cheers hey, it actually started mining on the card.. crashed after a few mins but that was probably due to a bad OC for this algo.. and also, it had the same speed as the other cards what does mode 22 do? Hi Sikkan666, Thanks for your message. In some cases you may want to select a specific mode/kernel for miniZ to run in your GPU. In this case --mode3=22 selects mode/kernel 22 to run on GPU3. (miniZ was not selecting the correct kernel for your GPU.) It is possible that some kernels do become unstable and others do not, when applying OCs. Have you tried adjusting OCs? In any case, we appreciate that you leave us a message if a mode is dramatically unstable also after trying with stock settings. Cheers

Too many rejects with 2.3c mining 125.4, back to 2.2c and again 0 rejects. Kernel number is shown like "0019", not "19" like with older versions and because of this console window looks very messy with multigpu rigs -> info per gpu does not feet to one line like it was before, now it takes two lines, that second one is almost empty.
Hi somaton, Could you check the new version and let us know how it goes? It should be working well now. Thanks! Cheers
