I think it's a great coin for you. I know you hate pre-mines, well, this coin wasn't pre-mined  And the "blockchain voting" will be a great feature when it comes to making big decisions for the coin, like changing the algo. this coin wasnt premined, it was just mined by the only few ppl who knew about it for 6 months, lol, the ultimate premine. i ran into this coin about 4 months ago, it had 1 pool and maybe 3 people mining with 1 ati 7850 each, and they have so many coins its a joke this got on an exchange, unless this was a newer release Just think that those smart people made a favour for you to mine that coins and sell cheap. It can be pretty clear for all new people involving in cryptocurrency world that there is a brand bitcoin and another bitcoin scrypt as it brother. |

Its everyday the same, the whales choose a coin, pump it, make hype around it, dump it for a alot of profit. Thats the same game everytime. This time it was Blackcoin. But it also has a golden side: More people found out about this beautiful coin  So maybe we will see the price back at 1000, maybe 800, who knows, but thats no big deal because the community here is one of the best i ever met So with the multipool project and another good ideas this will soon go forward and the price will rise Ah and by the way, i lost everything cause of Wolongs great Pandastory and only had 0,3 BTC left and i bought BC for 250 satoshi the first day directly from the miners, and mined some by myself, Now i got about 2,5 BTC only because of this coin and 100k blacks, this brought me directly back to business  so i found out you only can win with this baby So GO GO GO!!! +1 This is a great coin - great community, I've loaded up more on dips to 1500, don't care about day to day fluctuations. In for the long haul! I'm fully agree with you. But I think this coin is already at it's dump side and made for myself decision that it is the time to switch to another. For now I am inclined to GhostCoin because it's new, also has POS reward system and cheap prices at exchanges. And I wish it will repeat BlackCoin's luck. Ghostcoin, really? Premine + only 2hr per-announce + instamine + POS 20% for first 2 years/POS 25% for the next 2 years/POS 30% for the following 2 years. Really? You think that is going to be the next BC? I think you would have better luck with the likes of ECCoin. It can be so, but the net hashrate for ECcoin is only twice of Ghostcoin right now, both have nearly the same premine 1 %, but ECcoin has overabundant number of total coins - so it is not too easy to decide as it looks from the first sight. |

Hi, what do u think that will happen with this coin? its on downhill now, and many people is on panic sell, and not many buyers, the volume is also so small, and the net hashrate is decreasing too
so, what do u think about the future of this coin? ( a noob in cryptocurrency is asking here )

Can I mine both SHA256 (with a block erupter) and scrypt (with a GPU) installed on the same PC?
I think I can't, because I can only set one algo in the conf file. Right?
I think you can because you can run your wallet even without .conf file, just use pools. IMO you should choose your type of PoW in config only for mining in wallet. |
