I have closed down the IRC channel. Inaba you can start it up again if you like, you will also have Ops. Remember to start ##Eclipsemc and not #eclipsemc as #xxx names are reserved.

Payout needs to be clarified and more transparent.

Maybe something like (move the buttons).
Code:
Balance                                Payout
BTC
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bitcoins: 10                      [BTC] [Paypal]
Unconfirmed BTC: 0.1

NMC
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
NMC: 100                         [NMC]
Unconfirmed NMC: 100

Buttons should be moved. ATM it looks like i can withdraw my BTC in NMC and my NMC in Paypal (is this the case?).

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would their be interest in an australian trade in btc site for online goods? on: October 10, 2011, 12:13:42 PM
The US have BTC to USD, we have close to nothing (TH are there for the lols, MTGox you trade for useless vouchers)....

I'm not talking about money but more like assisted purchase, select the online item you want, click, send coins and we buy the product... sort of trade in your coins for gear

Sorry i should have been clearer, it was a response to the post above mine. The reason why it wouldnt work in the US is because they have so many ways of getting USD from BTC so they can just purchase whatever they want without using this service.

Aussies on the other hand dont have that many options and there may be interest depending on the fees. I may not be able to get AUD from BTC easily but if im going to by X item anyway, i might consider your service.

16  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [Bounty] Proxy software with requirements on: October 08, 2011, 06:56:12 AM
cdhowie stopped development a long time ago afaik.

Perhaps you can use cgminer and one of the current methods for multipool or message conman himself.

Quote
FAILOVER STRATEGIES WITH MULTIPOOL:
A number of different strategies for dealing with multipool setups are
available. Each has their advantages and disadvantages so multiple strategies
are available by user choice, as per the following list:

FAILOVER:
The default strategy is failover. This means that if you input a number of
pools, it will try to use them as a priority list, moving away from the 1st
to the 2nd, 2nd to 3rd and so on. If any of the earlier pools recover, it will
move back to the higher priority ones.

ROUND ROBIN:
This strategy only moves from one pool to the next when the current one falls
idle and makes no attempt to move otherwise.

ROTATE:
This strategy moves at user-defined intervals from one active pool to the next,
skipping pools that are idle.

LOAD BALANCE:
This strategy sends work in equal amounts to all the pools specified. If any
pool falls idle, the rest will take up the slack keeping the miner busy.

Perhaps you could specify (3*100/20)% of 1 hour to A, (7*100/20)% of 1 hour to B and so on using ROTATE. If this doesnt do what you want it shouldnt be too much difficulty for him to modify the last two.

EDIT:

Sorry misread, you want to point random machines of random hashing power to the one location which then splits it. This is not possible using cgminer (as it's not a proxy) but you could run cgminer on each computer all using the same config with the above values and it would do what you want.

I don't trust the OP, he doesn't have a 1024x768 picture that he uses at the end of every post.

BE VERY CAREFUL.

I just realised that i've gotten us out of some ruts before:

Code:

(-10.25%) 0.00000000

(-9.97%) 0.00000000

Some of my solved blocks with > 100% luck. Cheesy

The pool rate has stagnated for quite some months now. While other pools grow we stay the same so our pool variance will increase.
20  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I did it, i shouldve listened to you guys. PSU is dying. on: September 27, 2011, 12:30:19 PM
And not to mention the downtime from mining and time invested in fixing stuff.
