1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TESTNET] 💥SKELPY - CERTIFIED DECENTRALIZED BLOCKCHAIN - www.skelpy.co 💥 on: October 23, 2018, 01:03:51 PM
Can you provide simple example of potential use of this blockchain for better understanding what are you going to build?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinCalendar.cc | Keep Track Of The Crypto Market | Essential Tool! on: October 23, 2018, 01:00:40 PM
How can I filter events by date or period? I guess you need more sort options first of all.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do when the market is weakening now on: July 01, 2018, 05:32:20 PM
In my opinion, the situation on the market has many reasons.
Artificial price containment by large investors.
Correlation of the December overvalued market.
The uncertainty of the set of investors who are new and they do not have their own formed opinion and guidance to action.
A large number of fraudulent projects that entails the outflow of money from the real sector of investment.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should a person know and do who is going to become an investor? on: July 01, 2018, 05:21:46 PM
Of course, everyone knows the basic laws of investing
- spend only that amount you can painlessly part
- study, analyze, draw conclusions
- be cautious and if you take the risk you understand all responsibility.
But in the world of cryptocurrency is very often the usual roulette. Some of my friends just got lucky. They did for 10-20 000 without any deep knowledge. They earned it on frankly blind-alley projects.
Everyone has his own path. And there is no universal guide to action for everyone.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm (finally) ready to spend on: July 01, 2018, 04:53:06 PM
In such matters, I would stand aside. Until it comes to a high level, I would not risk big sums of money.
It's like exchanges. You can try different no-name exchanges. But no one in their right mind will keep a lot of money there because of security threats. When cryptocurrency will be sufficiently popular, large companies will take this niche in business.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experts export bitcoin price to hit $250,000 on: July 01, 2018, 04:39:47 PM
Yes, I read this tweet. It gives a laugh to me, to be honest.
I am rather skeptical about predictions for a long period of time. 25 years. Are you seriously? Perhaps in a few years, there will be a breakthrough in technology. Perhaps there will be a new round of development in some important area. Perhaps another currency will become popular for calculations. Who knows? I do not know what will happen tomorrow.
But read it just for fun - OK.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Neo go to 10USD on: July 01, 2018, 04:26:09 PM
I didn't see any news that could compromise NEO. Of course, the price may fall because the whole market depends on the price of bitcoin. The second reason for the strong fall is the Chinese government.
There is maybe a national cryptocurrency and NEO maybe will have problems with legality. But this is all hypothesis and rumors now. There are working and planned exchanges that sell coins on NEO platform. I don't think that there will be a sudden collapse.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: June 29, 2018, 09:09:49 PM
Everyone says that large institutional investors are gradually entering the market. Now we don't see the desired reaction of the market. But all trends show that whales want to get rid of small investors. I think that in the future an ordinary person will be quite problematic to take part in ICOs or to trade freely on the exchange. In my opinion, such a strong fall is a harbinger of big changes.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am going to invest 10BTC to different altcoins on: June 29, 2018, 09:01:18 PM
I don't have time to fill in your form for high potential coins, in fact, you shouldn't be asking people to give up their time for you in that way to begin with. But I'll point your gaze towards a few high prospect coins:

NEO - Excellent smart-contract functionality and community

Zilliqa - The front-runner for sharding tech as far as I'm aware

Quarkchain - Another scaling coin, currently massively undervalued, has huge potential to pump

Monero - Privacy coins are likely to be big in future, you can't get more secure than Monero

Iagon - Distributed computing is the future

Took the words right out of my mouth.
However, I am disappointed with NEO lately. When a large number of people begin to pay simultaneously during ICO, the network simply refuses to work. Everyone has to buy tokens based on NEO for Ether. This is nonsense. And the problem is not solved at all.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good strategy to buy tokens at low price directly after ICO? on: June 29, 2018, 08:47:12 PM
What does the bounty have to do with it? I don't understand. This is only 1-3% of the total volume.
In fact, I don't understand who are these people that are selling tokens below the price of ICO. I can not understand why they sell. Probably these are some traders who pour out a huge amount of money from one project to another. I'm a small investor. And just like you sometimes expect a price drop to buy cheaper than the main sale.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: June 29, 2018, 08:27:11 PM
Did you follow the link from the official site and ended up in a fraudulent chat?
I'm very sorry for your loss. This is not a small amount in fact. Sad

Another kind of fraud in telegram chats.
A scammer with the same avatar as the administrator writes you a personal message. Well, he goes on to tell tales and tries to take your money.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 is the year of altcoins on: June 29, 2018, 08:12:21 PM
Not really. I think that 2018 will go down in history as the most stagnant year. All that we see for 6 months is the price drop. The huge growth of useless numbers of ICO's and outflow of money to fraudulent schemes.
If people invested only in good projects then the market would grow rapidly. And what we see now is just a farce. Many invest in a bubble, and this negatively affects the entire market.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO is going to be at the focus point. on: June 10, 2018, 01:17:00 PM
Of course, this is an independent platform. Many tokens that are created precisely on the basis of NEO have done a lot of X and are actively developing. I participated in 4 ICOs on this platform and they all turned out to be quite profitable. I sold the part and returned my investment, the remaining tokens lie as a long-term investment. So far, many scammers have not flooded this platform with their useless smart-contracts.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors and Bounty on: June 10, 2018, 12:41:04 PM
~

That's why I created this topic. I'm always interested in the question "Who would benefit from dumping the price?" Well, who in a right mind will sell tokens = 1000 for 500 bucks?
These categories are only three.
1. Bounty Hunter
2. Private investor with huge discounts
3. Development team
Since I can not buy from 2 and 3 categories, I don't know them, etc. The first group is the most logical choice. They receive tokens on July 1, for example. Hence, investors should wait for cheap tokens on the market this following days.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: now bear market again. wait for november on: June 10, 2018, 12:27:35 PM
Oh, leave it. It was not a bull market, but maybe a newborn calf. Some projects show great growth and some changes due to news, updates, etc. But the global market is still in a lull.
But we simply go further, we invest in new projects, we look at how technologies enter our life and look forward to the growth of capitalization. And this is inevitable. Since traditional investments do not yield more than 10% per year.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralization or total control? on: June 10, 2018, 12:17:05 PM
In the case of tax, we have to get paid by social institutions such as Medicine Education Utilities Pension Fund and law enforcement Agencies. But there is one huge disadvantage of this system - it is corruption. Enriching yourself at the expense of others breaks the system at its root. Blockchain is aimed at the desire of corruption in General and it is unprofitable for some. As we can see, countries with a sustainable management system are introducing blockchain into the "system" slowly on the way to the future. Creating convenient conditions for the ICO and in attempts to resolve it. More corrupt countries are trying to either enrich themselves for a good purpose or even ban any Innovation in cryptography.
Everyone lives in his own world, and until we start taking into account other people's worlds, nothing will fix us. Besides dystopia, there we will not know about freedom of thought. 1984
My choose is 1st, because all ppl can't true be ever/

Yes exactly! The more the government denies transparent schemes in crypto directions, the more they are corrupt. It is not profitable for them that with new technologies they will not be able to steal and stuff their pockets. Any resident of the country will be able to see the movement of money. It's like a litmus test for me. Australia, Switzerland are countries that implement cryptocurrencies and they have a transparent economy.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Fiat? on: June 10, 2018, 12:01:07 PM
Fiat is the national currency. All live in different countries and all have different currencies. Fiat is a universal concept that is identical to the euro, dollar, other currencies. Since the market is not stable and bitcoin price is also floating, some take the national currency rather than the dollar as the starting point. This term is used in the context of the withdrawal of investment in real life, as within the cryptocurrency market, money moves through bitcoin, ether or Neo, etc.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The list of promising ICO and Bounty on: June 10, 2018, 11:35:31 AM
The project Elysian already collected soft cap. The cheapest price to buy will last 7 more days. In all ratings, this ICO received excellent marks.
A project has a bounty.
Today there was a registration in the project UChain. They recruited 8,000 people in the whitelist. Registration closed in 20 minutes. Ie for 20 min. or so they have already dialed 8000 people who managed to enter all their data and upload all the documents. The project is not bad.
There is no bounty.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Private Sale? on: June 10, 2018, 06:02:48 AM
A large amount of private sales is attractive for ordinary investors. If the rich people invest money, then potentially the project can be successful. But on the other hand, this is a sign that whales can manipulate the market.
A large amount of money is concentrated among several investors and not 1,000 medium. Therefore, we need to consider this from different sides because there are both positive and negative sides.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you invest in Altcoin? on: June 10, 2018, 05:50:50 AM
In today's market, there are very few long-term projects. I'm not even sure that careful study of white paper and everything else will give confidence in the project. Recently I am extremely disappointed in cryptocurrencies. Everyone now can say that soon growth and all that. But it's hard for me to look at the fall of really good projects. I'm not talking about shitcoins. But in prices there is no logic. I can understand this, but it's hard for me to accept.
