I have a fully functional Nokia E71 for sale.  It was purchased, unlocked, for the Local GSM carrier Immix (Central PA), but I've since moved onto Verizon and a CDMA phone.  It's hardly been used, and has been reset back to the factory settings. It comes with a back cover, Phone itself (obviously), two batteries, and a charger.

Not sure what to charge, was thinking ~$150 or the BTC equivalent.  PM with any questions/concerns.  Shipping will be to the lower 48 (US) USPS with insurance.

I'll be taking the transaction-hash from the first submitted player that sends in a chance to play, and be converting the first 12 Hex digits (to keep from using absolutely huge numbers) to Decimal, and whoever has the number closest to zero after subtracting block timestamp of last entry, wins 97% of the pool. The base play is 1BTC, however, anything above (up to 10 BTC) gets the answer divided by the number of BTC the person sent.

I'll do the calculation to determine the winner exactly 24 hours after this post.

If less then 3 or people play, all funds will be returned (minus transaction fees.)

I got 1309539187 from the last completed block as of the time of this post (Block 134244).  If you look at the block in BlockExplorer, and click on "Raw Block Data," you see that under time.  It's just another random number generated, and verifiable, by the network to make sure I'm not scamming anyone.

Just a note however…If the time value ends up being bigger than the Tx-hash value, I'll end up using the absolute value of the answer (so it cannot be below zero...for instance, a -1025456465 would end up being 1025456465)

Sorry for sounding kind of snippy, slight headache when I posted that, and no idea where it came from:(.  No offense taken, and again, sorry.  Since you do see potential problems with this, how would you go about fixing it?   I thought it was pretty air tight, but like you pointed out, it can be exploited:(.

Well yea, but these are the best "sweet spot" settings I could find.  Take them or leave them, they're the best I could do, and wanted to share-if only a little-to the bitcoin community.

After fiddling around for a while, this is the best I can come up with without crashing my computer or having the videocard say "Screw this" and start to artifact!

These are the settings I have with Phoenix miner, and produce (for me) a consistent 365-375 MH/S with a 6950 (Shaders unlocked running @ 930/1375 @ 1.175 volts)
