Thanks for the feedback guys!!

I'm definitely still trying to find that balance between an educational vs news site.

It's always tough for me to not mix bit of humor in. I think we all need it in this bear market Wink

You know I actually like the site. Its user friendly, warm and I think with solid blogposts and beginners guides it could really help new people. I will try and make a guest post later this week or next week for you to review. Anyway, well done. Great stuff.

Thanks so much! I put a lot of work into it, so it's great to hear positive feedback!

Tired of answering the same questions over and over: "How do I buy Bitcoin?", "How do I buy cryptocurrency?", "How do I store Bitcoin?"

I'm the tech geek of my family and I hate repeating myself. So after being asked these questions by every friend and relative I have, I decided to build Theycallitcrypto.

It was built specifically for newcomers to the crypto market. But it's useful for experienced investors as well.

    Any feedback would be great!

I use all of the resources you listed, but I've found the most common question I get from newbies is "how do I buy it??"

After growing tired of explaining the process over and over, I built this theycallitcrypto.com Wink

Just plug in the coin you want, payment method and country and it will suggest the best exchanges to use.

Let me know what you think of it!

    Hi

I am looking to buy one bitcoin and struggling to find a reputable place to buy online, 2 of the bigger companies, Coinbase and blockckain Luxembourg have terrible reviews. I am looking to keep the bitcoin for several years. Are there any reputable companies in the UK who can sell the bitcoin to me and I won’t have an issue selling and withdrawing funds in the future should the bitcoin value increase. I’ve heard there are bitcoin ATMs also?

    Thanks

There's quite a few options when it comes to buying Bitcoin in the UK. Some large, some small.

Some accept bank transfers (CEX.io, Bitstamp) and others facilitate cash purchases (Localbitcoins, Bitquick). It really depends on your needs.

I built a search tool that shows you how to buy bitcoin in the UK based on your preferred payment method. It'll also give you basic info & a brief review on each exchange to help you make the right choice.

If you plan on keeping your Bitcoin online so you can easily sell or withdraw it in the future, I'd choose a larger exchange with high liquidity and a strong security team.

I store 60% on a hardware wallet. These are the coins I plan on keeping for at least 5 years.

I locked my Ledger Nano in a fireproof safe. Put it in my closet. And told my wife to hide the key from me. Just in case I try to panic sell  Wink

The other 40% I actively trade on the larger exchanges like Binance and pro.coinbase.com.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's is the best bitcoin wallet for beginners? on: October 04, 2018, 05:15:33 AM
If security is your top priority, then I would go with a hardware wallet.

My personal favorite is the Ledger Nano S but Trezor is a great option as well. I've used both.

If you're going to buy a hardware wallet, just make sure to buy it directly from the manufacturer.

There's more of a learning curve when it comes to setting up a hardware wallet, but if you can follow simple instructions, it's a breeze!

    Check out Theycallitcrypto.

It's a great comparison tool that will show you crypto exchanges based on your location, coin you want and payment method.

By far the easiest way to find the right exchange.

I created a blockchain infographic for everyone new to cryptocurrencies.

I've noticed that nearly 95% of people buying Bitcoin or other altcoins don't actually know how the blockchain works!

This will give you a basic understanding.

I can't post photos yet (working on rank), so check it out here.
