Hi

I am looking to buy one bitcoin and struggling to find a reputable place to buy online, 2 of the bigger companies, Coinbase and blockckain Luxembourg have terrible reviews. I am looking to keep the bitcoin for several years. Are there any reputable companies in the UK who can sell the bitcoin to me and I won’t have an issue selling and withdrawing funds in the future should the bitcoin value increase. I’ve heard there are bitcoin ATMs also?

Thanks

As demand for bitcoin increases, the number of ATMs increases. These Bitcoin ATMs may not be as widely used as fiat currencies, but electronic money ATMs are gradually becoming a popular means of buying Bitcoin among other electronic currencies. The number of Bitcoin ATMs installed and used around the world has become increasingly demanding. The removal of financial institutions makes it an attractive option for homeowners. invest. These Bitcoin ATMs allow individuals to purchase an electronic amount directly to increase their development.

Actually, you can Google it "Where to buy bitcoin?" instead of making a new alt account to post this if you are really wanted to know where.

You can buy any amount of bitcoin from Coinbase, Coinbase is the perfect platform to do that, since you intend to keep it for a long time, after purchasing from coinbase look for a secure hardware wallet to store it.

Have you tried www.localbitcoins.com
I have never had a problem with it, it’s great in the UK. They use an escrow service so nobody gets screwed over. It depends if there are many buyers/sellers in your country. Give it a go!

You can buy bitcoin and altcoin directly through money in international cards at some support address! Very easy and convenient, there is a difference, the price difference is high! Careful consideration and possible disclosure of personal information!

I would suggest Kraken, I have dealt with them a lot and I am very pleased with their service. If you want something easy and very user friendly, go to CEX.io
They have very large buy buttons on their homepage.

If you want to hold your bitcoins for several years, then you need your own wallet, its really important you find a good wallet to hold your bitcoins, your coins should never be on an exchange for years. The reviews are not that important on those big companies as long as you easy can withdraw your bitcoins to your own safe wallet.
When you want to sell in 5 years, you will must likely sell your bitcoins on exchanges that ain't even develop today.

cex.io are a good English exchange, I used it a few times, and everything works good.

I would suggest CoinBase - I know you've read bad reviews about, but many do say (real people) they are the best - super easy to use, and the app is user friendly.

Try going to this site https://coinatmradar.com/country/225/bitcoin-atm-united-kingdom/ this will help you find the nearest Bitcoin ATM in UK. I haven't seen any feedback about the site regarding its accuracy but I havent seen any negative feedback as well. Actually a simple search in Google can help you with your query.

Coinbase I a good exchange platform, I've heard that Coinbase and GDAX are the best places to buy BTC. Because of Coinbase is the biggest platform in the united states. It offers both an exchange and wallet in one, making it one of the easiest places to start with bitcoin. Coinbase also supports bitcoin cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. However, Coinbase, Cex.io, Bitstamp, Xcoins, is the best site to buy bitcoin.

Hey those two are exchanges where you can buy and sell your bitcoins, however I don't recommend using exchanges. To buy bitcoins you can go to currency section here and buy from reputed sellers, if you have doubts insist on a escrow. Alternatively you can go to Local Bitcoins and buy from various sellers there, input your country say U.K. and buy from a seller, who has all documents verified, if you're buying a huge amount break it off, and store them in electrum wallet and you should be good.

There's quite a few options when it comes to buying Bitcoin in the UK. Some large, some small.

Some accept bank transfers (CEX.io, Bitstamp) and others facilitate cash purchases (Localbitcoins, Bitquick). It really depends on your needs.

I built a search tool that shows you how to buy bitcoin in the UK based on your preferred payment method. It'll also give you basic info & a brief review on each exchange to help you make the right choice.

If you plan on keeping your Bitcoin online so you can easily sell or withdraw it in the future, I'd choose a larger exchange with high liquidity and a strong security team.

I will recommend you to local bitcoin (https://localbitcoins.com), is the most secure place to buy bitcoin with your fiat currency. I have been using local bitcoin for years and I have not encountered any issue with them. No matter where you are in the world it works fine.
